These paints are great for children to paint their own ceramics. Colours are vibrant, easy to mix to create other colours, easy to apply, small pots go a long way (we have decorated 12 mugs and 4 plates and still have about half the paint left!) I would definitely buy again.As other reviewers suggested, we painted, left to dry for 4 hours and then baked in oven (put ceramics in the oven when it was cold, heated it to 170c, baked for 30 mins, turned oven off with ceramics still inside and did not remove until oven had cooled) and the paint stays on really well. We have just been hand washing items. Colours are vibrant, easy to mix to create other colours, easy to apply,

These paints are great, especially for the price. (I paid around £11 at the time.) The paint is thick enough so that multiple coats shouldn't be needed. Though that depends on the end result that you're trying to achieve.The included brush isn't very good though, so I'd recommend getting a few separately. There's no need to spend much on them though. You can also use sponges to dab on the paint, or apply it in other ways.Ensure that the object you're painting is nice and clean, and remember to give the items plenty of time to dry. Although you don't have to bake the items, I find that doing so will give you a tougher finish.To quote another reviewer: "Put it in a cold oven, and set it for 170 Celsius.

These are excellent dishwasher safe paints. Ignore any non-oven instructions. Fire your finished items in the oven as instructed. Here are the steps:1) Wash the item to be painted - e.g. hot water/detergent, or alcohol to remove grease.2) Paint the item, and leave to dry ( at least four hours ).3) Put it in a cold oven, and set it for 170 Celcius. When the temperature is reached, bake for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven and do not take the item out until it has cooled.

These are great although only used on glass so far. I bought them as somebody ordered a heart shaped glass pendant and wanted me to paint a Portuguese style tile design on it. Glass paint wasn't quite right for the job. I look forward to using them on porcelain sometime as I am sure they will be lovely.I chose this brand as I use their liquid liner which always performs well with no air blocks which is essential as I write on glass with it to personalise orders.

Bought these for guests at my 4year olds birthday party to paint some basic white mugs. It went down really well with the children and also parents. Followed baking instructions posted by other reviewers and issued copies of this to the party goers. Despite 14 very colourful mugs being painted, we still have lots of paint left. Would definitely recommend these paints and will buy again when we run out.

Good paints! I would recommend buying another set of paintbrushes to apply them as the brush which comes with the paints is quite wide which can make painting finer details more difficult - for me anyway! I used these paints alongside another range of outliner pens on mugs so I had to bake them in the oven for about 90 mins and in the end they were fine!!

These are great! I've been looking for babies hand/foot print kit actually, but then found these and decided to try. They work great on porcelain as well as other ceramic dishes etc. It saved me lots of money, as my family loves receiving mugs, vases, plates with my sons hand and feet prints haha. It washes well of his hands :)

Nice set if you follow instructions on both sides and on the box. I like the fact that the containers are made from glass so it doesn't leak as easily. The pigment is not verry strong, but once you've learned you way around it, it does the job ;)

Looks like it does a good job.It comes out a little watery, not like acrylic paint (which I guess I was kind of expecting).With more practice I guess I will get better but looks like I will have some good looking mugs.

These were great. Good range of colours. Used them to decorate a teapot with toddlers fingerprints as a thank you present for someone. Paints came easily of fingers but once dried seem to be permanent on tea pot.

painting with Grandchildren brought bird feeders and plant pots for them to paint while they were here, we had a lovely time and not to much mess and they all had something to take home to their mums, Wonderful

Really great paints - I use them with my toddler to paint rocks and for arts and crafts - worked well using them to paint easter eggs this year for her nursery competition (and she won).

It worked very well. Easy to mix colours to get the right tone for a camile coloured porcelain basin, and easy to apply. Polished it with auto rubbing down cream to get a bright shine.

Worked perfectly for making little fingerprints on mugs with my daughter! Grandparents loved it!!Easy to clean off too (Both her fingers and extra smudges!)

love the consistency of this paint and the colours blend well. does exactly what it says on the packet! will definitley buy again
