I've reviewed ingredients for a cocktail I came up with, (single and bored on an All Inc. holiday in Spain last year), which has four alcoholic ingredients including this (Passion Fruit, Coconut and Vodka plus lemonade and ice are in there, which was named a 'Robin's Razor' 'cause it shave hours off the day - geddit?) This is quite the icing on the 'cake', simply because the colour alters radically (ah, but you'll have to experiment with measures to find it out and the Spanish barmaid was both beautiful and clever!), the flavour gets a depth that is wonderful and let's face it, who wouldn't like a cocktail on a warm Summer evening? (for those that enjoy alcoholic ones moderately, obviously).

I bought this to make cocktails with on Christmas and I'm surprised to have any left for New Year's!The liqueur has a bittersweet orange flavour and vibrant blue colour, great for mixing a variety of colourful drinks. It's sweet enough to drink on its own if you really want to but personally I prefer it mixed.The bottle is a good shape for pouring and houses 50cl/500ml of the blue stuff. After making maybe 5 or 6 pitchers of Blue Lagoon and Purple Rain, I still have about half the bottle left.Compared to other brands, I've found this blue curacao to be good value. I paid £8.50 for this during a black friday sale but my local Asda store sells it for £10,

I love this stuff. It makes a range of wonderful cocktails and is easily one of the most used liquers in my drinks cabinet.Basically an orange peel liquer with blue colouring, it goes great with vodka & lemonade (blue lagoon) or taking the place of triple sec in a cosmopolitan. My favourite combination is with vodka, gin & lemon-lime for an Aqua Velva.Very similar to triple sec, but the taste is slightly different and obviously it's blue which makes the resulting drinks it produces very eye catching. All in all, well worth adding to the drinks collection.

Before having purchased this online, I'd never heard of it. T'was only after a late-night Google fest that I stumbled across it as a recommended mixing component of several cocktails, so I figured why not? Bought it, tried it, absolutely chuffed with it. For the price and what you get, I'd recommend it too.Fun little mix to try it in too;1/4 Amaretto1/4 Bols Curacao2/4 Orange Juice (Bitless is best)(Ice is optional is too) Mix it for several seconds until there's no pockets of alcohol left untouched, then enjoy!

Great taste, i use it to make blue lagoons and will hopefully make Purple rain with it.blue Lagoon, 50ml of Bols Blue, 50ml Vodka, the rest Lemonade.Purple rain, 50ml Cherry Sourz, 50ml Bols blue, rest lemonade.Only negative is that its expensive for the amount you get, its a small 50cl bottle, i got it for a tenner which i thought was a bit much when i saw the size of it. However you dont need much to get the effect of the blueness.

I'm yet to use it by itself, but it smells wonderfully of oranges. This came securely packaged and certainly makes an excellent Purple Rain (fill pitcher half full with ice cubes, 1 shot of Blue Curacao, 2 shots Cherry Sourz, and top up with lemonade). I'm going to use it to create a modified and more potent version called the Purple Shitstorm- wish me luck!

This is a quality product for making a range of cocktails such as blue lagoon or purple rain. It has a bittersweet orange flavour and vibrant blue colour, and comes in a glass bottle which looks nice on display. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing on Amazon as it's a competitive price and we couldn't find this in any surpermarket we tried.

Yes the colour is slightly alarming but it's just what you need to make a blue lagoon cocktail (1 part vodka, 1 part curaçao and 4 parts lemonade). Bols was the slightly cheaper curaçao compared to Lejay and De Kuyper which was why I chose it above those options - the cocktails were great and the Bols imparted a good, orange flavour.

Im using it for my cocktail electric lemonade absolute citrus vodka carcuao sweet & sour mix crushed ice topped up with britvic bitter lemon slice of lemon you have dynamite cocktail in a tall stainless tumble with stainless steel stirrer and stainless steel straw

I think everyone is trying cocktails in lockdown I find Bols to be the best and most consistent for mixer flavours. Some specialities they don’t do but for the most part the flavours and colours are best and the standard to which most people measure against.

It's hard to fault it with the great taste and great colour this adds to cocktails. If you're one for trying to get the best deal, I would shop around as you can often get this for closer to £10 at one of the super markets or on a deal online.

My number one go to flavour for cocktail making is Curacao at the moment, and this Bols product is nice for the price. Wish I didn't get through it so quickly, but it's cheap enough that I don't mind having to buy more.

I bought this as I used to drink it years ago with lemonade. I hadn’t had it for a long time, and thought I’d retry it over Christmas. It’s a really nice orange flavour with lemonade. Very refreshing.

I couldn’t get this in the supermarket so bought it from amazon. Arrived next day we’ll wrapped.We wanted this to copy some cocktails we had, it was great.Would recommend
