I had an Alto 25 for about 6 years as my workshop vac. It was great, took everything in its stride. I also took it to site jobs where it was stolen :-( The new 26 model is an upgrade, better tool storage, quieter, much better wheels and just as good suction. The filter cleaning button ensures you keep full suction. Highly recommended.

Better than I thought it was going to be, good suction long reach. I brought this because I keep on breaking my other vacuum cleaners so I got an industrial one, seem to being surviving so far. (doing my house up and I hoover all the mess up, that's why the other broke)

Power take-off and auto on switch works very well. Just what I needed for DIY tool dust extraction and heavy cleaning. Good value, it looks like the same design as the more expensive Makita branded units.
