First chainsaw. Tried it out on some logs first. About 8 inches thick. No problem whatsoever. Obviously holding the whole thing out from my side is heavy. Transferring the weight up as though I was cutting a tree branch and the weight was easier to manage. I found the cable to a good length. I'll be using mine with a generator so the plug socket moves with me. Otherwise a good RCD extension lead completes the setup. The whole thing is sturdy and well made. It's also easy to get replacement chain and filling with oil is a doddle. I looked online for advice on what oil is suitable. Advice from those who use chainsaws a lot was not to pay the earth at well know motorist shops,

Excellent pole pruner. Very easy to use. It has saved me a fortune as I would of had to get a tree surgeon in because I couldn't reach most of the taller branches. A long screwdriver is best for the chain adjuster.
