this liqueur is absolutely beautiful. best served after being chilled for hours in your freezer! don't forget to freeze your shot glasses too :) once opened though it will slush up if left in the freezer. don't waste it by drinking it straight down. sip it, let its flavour spread over your tongue. even ice cold it will warm you from the inside! I cant say you wont get a hangover afterwards, but I can honestly say its purity has never given me a hangover in the morning! well worth the cost, share it if you must, but once tried you will want to keep it for yourself.berentzen do alternative 'korn' flavours also. the apple schnapps or 'appelkorn' is amazing also.

Purchased with a view to having a mental party for a few friends towards the end of the year. I'm stockpiling various tipples and the Berentzen range of schnapps are popular and more importantly available through Amazon at a reasonable price. This is very much like Crème De Cassis, it's delicious knocked back on it's own or mixed, great with vodka or gin but also good with cava or drank as a posh cider and black. It's sweet and I would imagine that if you overload on the stuff you're going to be tinting the carpet a bright pink later into the night but that depends on you and your guests.
