A Shockingly good gin considering the price— the fact that it’s not a craft gin and over the years has diminished in popularity status. This is one of the most old school familiar London gins, yet has not been given the credit it’s due recently. It’s only because of travels that I re-encountered it after many years of being a gin snob. Having known many people who produce gin themselves, Having sampled some of the worlds finest, I thought I’d give this ago again fo comparison having tried it abroad. I have not been disappointed at all. It’s a pretty good flavour, decent strength, and for around £16 it’s fabulous value for money. It depends what flavour profile you’re looking for,

About six years ago I bought a bottle of the '24' version and wasn't all that impressed. This one, though, at 40%, is a good choice at the standard end of the gin market. It smells nice, feels smooth on the palate, and works well with supermarket low-sugar tonic. The other gin I go to at this price range is the standard Bombay Sapphire (white label) at 37.5% which is a little more flowery. This gin surprised me by what it delivered: with a splash of orange bitters it really does the business, especially at under thirteen quid via Prime. If this gin ever costs around sixteen quid then look at Tesco Finest Gin (or Finest Aromatic Gin) at 43%.

Since the kids have gone off vodka and onto gin the, rise of 'ginpops' has made getting a decent gin more difficult -I mean who wants to drink rhubarb gin !The best gin we have ever had was Gilbeys - which has not been available since the 1980's, now that was real gin,anybody who could replicate that taste would rule the market !

When you can get this on offer, it's great value. If, like me, the most important thing about a drink is that the taste is good and it doesn't give you a hangover, then, yep - this one's clean. This spirit is Casper, not Annabel. No headache and it's a standard, good gin taste. Makes a decent Negroni.

It’s a good gin but the listing is not correct. I specifically ordered this for the stronger 47% version - that’s what’s in the product photos and that’s what’s in the product information. Instead I received the 40% version. Bit disappointing really.

One of my favourite gins. This is a classic amognst all the new gin craze yet one of the best of London dry style. Makes top martini's with Dolin dry vermouth, negroni's and anything else needing dry gin! :p yum yum

I cannot believe that supermarkets do not stock this gin anymore - a classic brand with a smooth fruity and sweet style.Great news - after a few clicks it is delivered at home.great service

Good quality standard London Dry Gin - an established, reliable brand. Not at the cutting edge of innovative, craft gins in the current 'gin craze', but good value. Nice flavour and aroma.

Love this gin, smells gorgeous, but the picture is very misleading. The alcohol content is 40% as stated in the main details and not 47% as shown on the label in the picture.

This product was on offer so bought two bottles. Arrived promptly and enjoyed with mixer. Will last quite a while as can't get to the shops right now

Great gin for the price. Although there are better more premium gins you can't go wrong with this one. Made properly unlike some other gins too.

Beafeater gin has always been one of my favourite gins and at the price of £15.00 a bottle and delivered free was well worth the money
