Best quality wet cat food you can buy. Almost all wet cat food product sold in supermarkets is just a mash of 4% meat or fish parts, ash, and all sorts of garbage - some of which have highly addictive properties in them. The reason the adverts state 'Cats love... x brand' is because of these additives. Feed your cats a natural product like Applaws or just put them on a raw food diet - give them chicken, turkey mince, prawns, etc as you'd eat yourself and they'd reasonably have access to in the wild. If you don't, you might end up paying for it with vet bills caused in large part by unhealthy cats. Same as humans - eat bad food, become unwell - to varying degrees.

Want to give my cats good food. Gave this a try, cats like it, but it is a complimentary food, not a replacement for normal wet food. Being unsure first time a gave my cats half a tin each one meal a day. Soon my cats only some of them started throwing up, some others it gave them the runs. I think it my fault for over kill. Now all is well as I mix a little in with the cats normal wet food. All seems well. It is a good food the cats eats up. Nice large tin and ring pull is handy. Smell tells you it is good, not a lot of liquid solid full tin of good stuff. Happy now will stick with it. It was the chicken breast I got, will try others next time I order

I normally feed my cat the Applaws fish selection as a treat in the evening but found a single can of the chicken and pumpkin in my local pet store and thought I'd give it a go.I thought that she'd prefer the fish to this especially because it has pumpkin in it, how wrong was I! She absolutely LOVES this and licks the bowl clean every time. The chicken it excellent quality, the tin contains 50% chicken, 25% chicken broth, 24% pumpkin and 1% rice so I feel it's really worth the money. I give her about a third of a can in the evening and it keeps in the fridge with no problems. Please note, this is a complementary food and is not a complete food.

My cats love it especially my fastidious female, a cat of dubious unknown parentage who has champagne tastes! The food looks clean and appears to be finely shredded chicken not a "pâte". The tins are large enough to share between two cats for one meal. My order arrived very promptly and was well packed. I can buy the same food locally but it is around 18 pence a tin (plus) more expensive and we are not supposed to pay VAT here. I presume that VAT is included with my order but even so with the free postage I am still saving a lot of money. I and my finicky, fussy felines are very contented with this product and there are purrs all round.

If I could rate it higher than 5 star I would! Not one of my 3 cats have refused to eat this when it was offered to them and they can be picky eaters! I actually have to place little clumps of it down for my one girl as she eats much too quickly and she'd be nudging the others to eat their's too! I can only afford to use this as a 'treat' and not for every meal but it breaks up the monotony at feeding times for them! I love the fact that it's not full of additives and fillers! Well done, Applaws!

My cats love it. However, you should really read the packaging carefully. This food is a complimentary cat food not a complete cat food. Alone Applaws tinned foods do not provide all the proteins and vitamins your cat needs to stay healthy. I give my cats a mix of Applaws tinned foods and Applaws dry food. You can check out the Applaws website, they themselves say that their tinned food range is a complimentary cat food.

It was recommended to me by our vet for when my cat was poorly because it’s a bland food with natural ingredients to settle her stomach and wouldn’t make her vomit. My cats go crazy whenever I’m preparing their food and get a whiff of this. I also give this to them as a treat, always clean plates and happy cats afterwards.Texturally looks like chicken and rice, smells pleasant too.

Started getting these tins of cat food a while back as one of our cats was being sick all the time and not eating and it was suggested that dry food could be the cause. These were the closest we could find to a complete protein meal other than going raw, and since switching both cats have definitely seemed a lot happier and healthier.

Plain chicken and my cats love it, but I hate to think what those poor chickens go through in the factory in Thailand, where it's produced. Just the thought of it forces me to reduce my rating by one star! Good value though, which is mainly why I always buy it; but I keep thinking I should swallow the expense and buy British!

The cats love it and it has helped them with their... bowl movements! We have them on a mix of dry food and then a little bit of this stuff each day for digestion and a bit of extra liquid in their diet! Helps keep them balanced diet wise and genuinely... smells good enough that I really think humans could eat it!

My cat a bit finnicky (aren't they all?) He eats it because I will not give him any 2nd choice.Smells great and for an aging cat who hates going out in the wet and cold it is the one thing cat keeps his bowels healthy. I do not feed it every day but twice per week is sufficient to keep him healthy. Thanks

I regularly buy my cat Applaws cat food as it's seems to have far less junk in it and seems to be better for his tummy. It also doesn't stink the house out unlike the brands you get in a lot of supermarkets. Only downside is the price but I think the 156g packs (each can is 2 servings) is better value.

This cat food is the best quality, with the best composition, that we've been able to find in the UK. High quality chicken (humans could eat it in an emergency), tiny bit of rice, but other than that, no fillers, ultra low carb. The kitties immediately took to it as well. Highly recommended!

Excellent food which my cat loves, but there must have been a problem with the tin batch dated 28th February 2023 as my cat will not touch any of it and was in fact sick after eating some which results in the whole delivery not being usable. (base of tins number: PWW004D1E).

Was a bit worried when i saw made in vietnam, arent they more local chickens? I know my vet uses this brand so i guess i can trust it. My cat doesnt like but of course it s a taste issue- was delivered quickly so not much to complain about!
