Image is for 1941 "pearl Harbour" finish, but Item delivered is 1944 dark green finish (one finish option only). Product code is correct though, so google A01005 to see what you will receive. The image/finish shown appears only to come as a starter set or dogfight double.However, the kit received seems like a VERY nice little kit, with plenty of detail. Very clean etched (sunken) lines throughout, detailed radial engine front, and cockpit: which comprises of side details inside fuselage plus a few nice peices to assemble (and then surprisingly uses a decal for the main instrument console!). Single piece canopy, which although maybe not as thin and clear as those expected in some of the more expensive Japanese kits on the market right now,

just finished this kit. This is my first kit of the new tooling Airfix kits, its a very nice model it all went together wellonly a little mr surfacer was needed on a couple of seams. ok ive given it five but i do have a few gripes about the kit.First the rear cockpit bulkhead that you attach the seat too both lower lugs were missing, second the control column broke into tow while being removed from the sprue despite using cutters.Third the yellow decal strips for the leading edge of the wings would not conform to the curve of the wing despite copious amounts of decal soloution, so i had to resort to airbrushing the yellow strip.despite these small problems i consider the kit to be well worth

This is one of Airfix's new tool kits and the quality and fit of the parts is excellent. There is nice detail in the cockpit, wheel wells and engine and the surface detail is very fine. Markings are provided for only one machine but it's the classic green/grey with black cowling which is fine by me and it looks great. Highly recommended for modellers of all ages and skill levels.

This is a simple kit. Good fun for a beginner. Nice details on kit. It has the option of raising the wing tips and Airfix didn’t skimp of a pilot figure. The fit is very good and I’m happy with the final kit. Options for drop tank and wheels up & down. Instructions are straight forward and decals are high quality.

Airfix have released a little gem, watch out Tamiya they are knocking on your door!This is an excellent kit with very crisp mouldings and superb fit of parts.

easy make it, ideal for beginners, arrived on time, good company, well recommended, can be used as a model or for wargamming in the pacific theatre

It will be a while before its assembled as got so many as a project. But looks great quality. No damage or missing pieces. Pleased with it

I'm really pleased with the details of this kit airfix is getting a lot better with their kits loads of detail and very sharp panel lines

Great kit from the newer airfix molds, fit is again superb and nice clear parts and decals make for an accurate little model.

Simple to build so you can spend more time painting. The pilot figure was a disappointment but overall I'm happy with result.

It’s a model aeroplane ....what more can be said? You glue it together and then slap some paint on ....BAM!!
