A surprisingly fiddly model. This is not a kit to be used as a beginner's kit. I brought and built this model with the anticipation that I would be able to build it quickly. I found the undercarriage relatively fiddly and really needed to plan the painting order before I continued with the build (I chose to build the US version). In the end I had to take my time to build what initially looked like a quick build.All in all this is actually an interesting build (and ultimately enjoyable) but this could really make the build surprisingly challenging for a beginner.

This is a kit made from old molds. It has raised rivets, which I sanded down but not off. Parts fit is good exept for the 3 piece canopy which does not want to line up. The landing gear lacks detail. Decals are for U.S.N. version and Austrailian @ Singapore version. I would have liked to see a Finnish version as the Finns did quite well with the Buffalo. It's a good deal for the price.
