I'll update this when I've finished - I'm about a quarter of the way in according to my savegame.I was crying out for a decent crime game, having come up short since playing Sherlock Holmes Crime and Punishments. So I ordered ABC Murders without much research, though the Agatha Christie credit was a factor. When I started up and saw the Microids logo I knew what to expect: thoughtful, plotted puzzles and a decent storyline and script to deliver them.So far that's exactly what ABC has delivered. The voice acting isn't spectacular but nor is it terrible. The graphics are nice, stylised and well-designed. The puzzles aren't too tricky but they do give pause and the mystery itself is engaging.It's a bit light-touch compared with Sherlock Holmes,

In this game you play a police officer who asks a famous detective for help - the incomparable Hercule Poirot. The game's background story is taken from Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders, the story mainly serves as a backdrop to what is essentially a puzzle-solving game.You will for example find crime scenes, and use the touch screen to inspect the scene and interrogate witnesses and suspects.If you make a mistake and tap something you tapped before, then you may either replay stuff again, which can be fun, or go back to the savegame. The Save menu isn't easy to find though, press Start to make it appear.

I really enjoyed this game. It's not perfect .. there are things you can do before you need to which don't make sense at the time. The game prompts you a little to much and everything you do is very specific to the case.I'd like to see more imersion into poirots world. With areas and puzzles that may be red herrings or just points of interests. The voice acting could be better and I think an opportunity has been missed.How great it could be to buy a game called "Agatha Christie's Poirot" and you then purchase cases and dlc that you want online.Even with the negatives I enjoyed the artwork. The story (pretty much a given though) music and sound effects.

The game is the usual move around and examine things sort. Graphics aren't fully exploiting the PS4 and the sound isn't amazing either but it is still an interesting way to spend some time. Did have a problem with the game where the square button on the controller wouldn't do anything but all the other controls worked fine. Developer support was quick and helpful though the result was that the saved game file had become corrupt which meant starting again. The corrupt file could be a problem with the PS4 itself or the game. Worth a look if you like these sort of games but doesn't exploit the power of the PS4 that much.

As I'm a real fan of adventure games I liked this game, but it could have been a bit more challenging. Graphics were fine, acting also OK.On PC (Windows 10) I had a little trouble with the cursor, not acting quite as promptly. But maybe that was only on my computer. Previously ( like years ago) I've also played "Murder on the Orient Expres" which I thougt was better, and also some of the older Sherlock Holmes games wich were a bit more challenging. It's a pity there are so little games of this style.But it kept me amused for some time and enjoyed playing it.

I am glad I bought this game. The puzzles are straight forward and mostly easy with a few that I needed a pencil and paper for. Slightly annoying are the figures on the top screen that slide in and out of the frame as different people speak. Also the spoken phrases bear no resemblance to the words on screen! Worse than subtitles on TV! Finished quite quickly so perhaps rather expensive at full price but I would buy another if on special offer.

The ABC Murders is an adventure and investigation game adapted from the classic Agatha Christie novel. Assume the role of the famous private detective Hercule Poirot where you will find yourself up against a mysterious serial killer who goes by the name of ABC. It’s a title for fans of both mystery and point-and-clicks, and is so addictive it is definitely worth the price of admission.

Not your usual type of PS4 game, this game is more for the casual gamer. By far the best mystery game I have ever played. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing through, really interesting. Lots of things to look at and do. I've spent many hours playing so far and see myself spending many more. Really recommend getting a copy

Great game, really felt like poirot! What I will say is that I thought the game could have been longer, I didn't want it to end. Also Poirot can be savage in this game, his retorts are hilarious in some of the choices, completely unexpected and brilliant!

This captures the spirit and atmosphere of Agatha Christie novels brilliantly and is set in the right time period a good game If you like the Sherlock Holmes games this is worth buying These games are few and far between

I bought this game for my mum as shes had a stroke. Its very much a point and click kind of thing, which has been helping her use her hand and try to get it back to normal. Its a good game but very simple to play.

This was so much fun. I was so sorry to have solved the murder as there is now a large Hercule Poirot shaped hole in my life. Could the makers of this game adapt another Agatha Christie please?!

Bought this as a gift. Fun looking game. Item as described n arrived well packaged and ahead of delivery date. No complaints at all. Will be back for more in future.

I enjoyed playing this game and would recommend it to people who like a mystery with dialogue rather than the current craze for cheap find the hidden objects games

Brilliant game. Loved the puzzles but it was far too easy. I didn't even need hints and completed it in 2 days. Preferred broken sword 5 (and cognition.)
