This is a general stapler, mostly designed for 6 or 8 mm staples, however it can hold 14mm staples. I have put the latter in and got close to 40 sheets fairly easy, you might need a slightly harder push, but it gets there.When you consider the price compared to some reportedly upper market staplers, I think this measures up just as well. It is used fairly regularly by me and other family members. It stands up to the test. For more than say 7-8 sheets you need 14mm, for two or three sheets 8mm does what you need the bigger diametric staples are no good for smaller jobs. You can also use 6mm for two to three sheets but I just think the 8mm is the more sound investment.It is a basic stapler,

Was skeptical but it works fine. Just today i stapled something through cardboard and it didn't have any problem with it. I kinda thought this purchase was risky and one of those amazon deal hunter being over frugal deals where you cross your fingers thinkin it's a 51/49 chance this'll be alright and if not toss it in the bin if not (God i really hate it when it's a tosser!!! I really should take my winnings and walk away, it's not worth it for a guy like me that freaks over losing £5 lol). This is no serious office tool btw, i use this at home maybe a couple staples a day.

What's not to like for this price ?!You get a perfectly functional stapler that doesn't jam (unlike some of the 'branded' ones I have around my office), is a decent length allowing you to staple in the middle of an A4 page (for expenses receipts etc) and copes consistently with a reasonable amount of sheets (10 or so) very wellThoroughly recommended

Seems incredibly cheap to me but have had it now for a few weeks and experienced absolutely no problems whatsoever.I'm not however a heavy user so don't know how well it would cope with 'industrial' usage.Bought the recommended staples at the same time and once again have had no grief.

You will be very satisfied with this stapler, which is ideal for the small office or den use. Takes standard size staples. spookily it resembles the alien, if you look at it head-on. Great for the price and well packed, received well in the delivery prediction via the parcel post.

This is the best stapler I have ever used and most of the ones I have used have been a lot more expensive. I can use it one handed, it's easy to refill- no leftover bits of staples- and it just chomps through the paper. Great.

This is a very sturdy and well made Stapler without being overly robust and sold at a very competitive price. It works effectively. I would have been a bonus if were supplied with at least some staples insitu.

Very nice. As staplers go, it ranks as my twelfth all time fav. What kind of stapler do you need to be to break into my top 10? Ooh, something very special indeed. But a valiant effort none the less old chap.

Good stapler, daughter happy with it but would have been nice if staples had come with It.....not given 5 stars as not sure how good it is yet as not been able to use it yet!

Good value for money. Can buy the staples for this product very cheaply. I paid 99p for 5000. Brilliant stapler just what I needed at a brilliant price

Really good stapler for the price. >25 pages you'll need something else. May struggle with 20 pieces of thick paper, especially with cheap staples.

Deducted a star for coming without staples. Good value for money for occasional use. Cannot yet comment on test of time and repeated staple action.

Nice but there weren't any staples in it just so I could use it straight away but I would recommend it nice shape thanks J.Peers

Cheap as chips but good value, not worth spending more as I find it always going for walks and comes back empty lol
