I am a primary school TA and have had no end of bother trying to remove staples from display boards with stapler removers that are just not up to the job. I've resorted to using knives too but you can imagine the issues with that and totally not appropriate from h&s perspective. So, with no school money to buy a stapler remover to replace the plastic, broken ones we had, I took matters into my own hands and bought this heavy duty version by Draper. It's fab. Does what it should easily and without injuring me. It is the envy of all the TA's and the pride of my own collection of school equipment. Big shame that schools haven't the finances to provide these for their staff as they're wasting money

After some searching I found this on Amazon as this style was not readily available on stationery or School supplies websites. It works exactly as it should; it is heavy duty. Past experience has taught me that this is the only staple remover to use for school display boards; unfortunately they get "mislaid" often! I was also pleased with the price as others I have bought have been twice as much money.

I bought this to use with screen printing frames, when I wanted to remove the screens and keep the frame. Worked a treat even when the staple was deep in the wood.To use you just work the tool under the staple and push downwards, it has a small clamp on it that will hold onto the staple with the downwards pressure.Very durable and a good price.Brilliant tool that should be in every toolbox

A great staple remover. As a teacher we have to remove a lot of staples from displays but we are moving to a new building and all the walls need to be cleared. This staple remover has made life so much easier and copes well with the variety of heavy duty staples that some have used. I really would recommend this product to anyone looking for a staple remover.

This is a nice strong product with a good handle for gripping. This product arrived on time and in good condition. It was reasonably priced. This will be very useful as we are forever changing walls and some of these staples can be quite tricky to take out. Not with this product. Staples here we come. No more knives for me. I would recommend this product.

I used it at the school I work at and have lots of wall displays which I am always changing and a lot of wall staples are used to display all the work the children did on the walls and with a cheap staple remover the handle is somewhat shorter and digs into your palm but this one has a longer handle and more comfortable to use! :) Good value too! :)

Seems to do the job well enough. I used it to leaver out 15 year old staples out of my dinging room chairs durin an upholstery job and while I had to get out my trusty screw driver some some of the realallyyy tough staples this worked on most and was far more comfortable to use. Takes a lot of the strain off of the wrist having the correct tool!

I couldn't have managed reupholstering 6 wing back leather chairs without it. Millions of staples were used to hold the fabric in place and it was a nightmare. This made it a lot easier. Admittedly, some staples were easier to remove than others but this was no match for a pneumatic stapler. Money well spent and would recommend.

Amazing! I've been through so many staple removers that break after not much use but this one is brilliant. The handle is big enough to give stability and it catches the staple and keeps it in a chamber thing until you're ready to empty it. As a teacher having to remove hundreds of staples every term I thoroughly recommend this!

I re-upholster caravan cushions and boat cushions. I have always used a screwdriver to prise the staples out. Hard work and most of them need to be taken out with pliers. The gadget works so easy, that most of the time the staples come out complete. Also doesn't damage the material if you have to take staples out of new fabric.

I am so glad I bought one of these.I work in a school, we are always putting up and taking down displays, I used to dread this job as my fingers would get really sore trying to get all the staples out.After buying one of these amazing tools my fingers are no longer sore and I can take down a display in half the time.

As a teacher, I remove a lot of staples from display boards. This remover made the job a thousand times easier. It works well on regular staples and even better on heavier grade staples from wall staplers/staple guns (I've used it on 8mm & 10mm but I'm sure it would do just fine on even heavier duty staples).

This is an amazing piece of equipment! I recently used it to 'dismantle' a big, heavy-duty cardboard box that was fixed together with staples about 4cm long and a few millimetres wide. It made the task so much easier than using, say, a big screwdriver, and is a much safer way of removing staples.

I bought this to remove staples from our stair when we were changing the carpet - there were hundreds of staples everywhere and I was going mad trying to remove them with weak stationary removers. This is fantastic, works really well and has saved me from RSI and probably madness too!

What an amazing tool! Speaking as someone whose mother was a teacher and so was raised on the blunt school knife method for removing staples from display boards, I was staggered by the ease with which such a task can now be carried out. Definitely needs to be in your display toolkit.
