Great board all around, no noticeable smell but dreadful packaging. The board is by definition made of soft corklike material. Wrapping it in just a single thin sheet of cardboard before sending it for delivery makes it impossible for the product to arrive in anything close to a normal condition. Mine has four good sized dents in it. I won't be sending it back because I use these things a lot and cover them entirely with paper so I can't see the dents anyway. I thought it worth mentioning however. I thought it was a shame. The price is about right for the quality but if a buyer wants to use it as a formal display for anything he can forget about it. There is no way this can arrive unharmed.

I have just fitted 3 of these boards and found them to be absolutely fine. I was a little apprehensive about my purchase given some of the negative reviews but need not have been. Yes, they are light weight and may not be the first choice for heavy use in an office environment BUT for moderate use in a home office they are sturdy, they look good and are great value for money. I purchased the boards with a pack of 5 Star pins (great value too). The pins are about 10mm long which is marginally shorter than the board thickness. Note: the fixings for the board are in a small plastic bag tucked into a fold in the cardboard packaging.

I have this up in my room and its a really good size. I did look at larger ones but I think this is more than big enough for personal use (possibly may want a larger one for a large office) The colour is great as I wasn't a fan of the bright blue ones I kept seeing online. The corner covers which hide where you've screwed it into the wall are a bit flimsy and come off quite easily but It wasn't that big of a deal for me, Especially with how cheap this was. I'd fully recommend it.

Looks great, covers up some nasty marks made by blutack, so saved having to repaint!! Good size and does the job of a notice board. The only down side is the unpleasant odor which isn't going away. I noticed it while unpacking, but assumed it would wear of in time. Months later, the room still has the strange smell. I have sprayed it with deodorizers to no avail. No one else has mentioned this smell, it is a strong chemical smell. Maybe other people like it?

This is the second I have bought, having moved the previous one into the kitchen after some years of use when we moved house.No problems, pins bite nicely and can be replaced in the same hole several times with no problems - never yet hit the limit but there obviously will be one.Came supplied with all fixings and both were easy to fit, this time on solid block walls, previously onto plaster board.Would highly recommend.

This product was delivered to me in one working day , however it had gotten damaged in transit. I emailed the seller who offered me a replacement which was sent out to me the same day. I am very pleased with this service and will definitely purchase from you again!The board is light but sturdy, a good size and very smart looking. Good quality and thick enough to hold push pins securely. Good value for money.

This is a real bargain for the money. It looks very classy and is everything one might want in a notice board. I didn't use the fixings it came with but bought large size Commando hooks to fix them with and this does the job really well. There are black plastic coverings in case you do want to use the fixings provided, and these finish off the look of the notice board. Really pleased I bought this item.

Good looking quality product. I chose the grey background and it looks very 'expensive'. One word of caution. The board is made to be fixed onto the wall which needs some drilling into the wall. This of course makes it a permanent fixture but solid. Much better than cheaper ones I had which are anchored with a picture hook and sway about. Wold buy from this company again.

I bought this boars over 4 years ago and it's still in use.I am moderate user (I change what goes one the board from time to time). The material of the board has been strong enough to keep the content on the board, no holes, no chipping off.One thing to mind with this product is that a needle will be too weak for this board. Drawing pins are just perfect.

Very, very pleased with this board, I prefer the grey colour over brown cork or bright blue felt. The board feels solid yet is very lightweight, so doesn't need heavy-duty fixings. Although I am useless at chores like these, putting this one up on the wall with the instructions and screws provided was a breeze.

Ordered this pin board as my old cork one had seen better days. Wasn't sure what to expect as this was so much cheaper than other ones I had been looking at. It arrived with in 2 days! , and I could not be more pleased . It looks so much nicer than the old one wish I had thought of getting one years ago .

For the price this notice board was great value. It was only to be used at home to organise all the school notices and general family rubbish that you get as I was fed up with it stuck the fridge with magnets! Easy to fit and arrived undamaged and in good time. Good value for money and I would recommend.

This product is very good value for money and made well. I am using it for a dart board surround and it does the job pefectly. The board has 4 screws, one in each corner which are then covered with plastic caps. I can't really think of any negatives about the product, I would order again.

I bought this for doing 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles on for which it is perfect and even slides under our sofa when not in use . No idea how it stands up as a noticeboard though. Some people have commented about the smell, all I can say is that mine had no noticeable odour to it.

A sound and sturdy noticeboard. I'd had enough of cheap cork boards and decided to move up market. The board is firm and deep, so pins actually stay where they are put and the material doesn't crumble. Nice solid aluminium surround. This one will last me a lifetime
