I have been using Magic Chart at interactive workshops since 2004 and it is enormously useful. Travels easily in luggage, and can be instantly put up on any smooth wall in the workshop. You can apply strips several pages long (or wide) to the wall - ideal for project planning and other charts/outputs that need a large area. (After a while I even mastered the art of applying a long strip to the wall unaided) You can stick post-its on it, write on it with whiteboard marker pens, and even wipe off what you've just written if you need to correct it. It's very useful for syndicate group work because it's very easy to reposition on the wall, e.g. to show the outputs of several groups together.Virtually every time I have used it,workshop attendees have clamoured to find out where they can get some. While it is more expensive page-per-page than flipchart paper, buying from the web is cheaper than trying to purchase retail; and what you find retail is probably the 'look-alike' product that appeared on Dragons' Den. Peter Jones didn't see the point but then he's never been in one of my workshops. Theo Paphitis promised to commit provided he had exclusive rights - don't know if anyone has told him he doesn't have the only magic chart, but his shops stock the look-alike and much more expensive product.Minor downside - in a dusty tropical environment you may find you need masking tape after a while to support bigger charts.Recent disappointment - it is recently being supplied in triangular prism boxes (why?) rather than the useful cuboid boxes with a dispensing slot (like clingfilm) which it has always been supplied in before. I am hoping this is a temporary blip. But I would still be wanting to have some of this with me whenever I run an interactive workshop that is aiming to produce some outputs. Everyone loves using it.

What did we do with out this????If you regularly train or speak in different venues and, do not always know exactly what to expect in regard to resources, this is invaluable. I always enquire (via a Resources Required Sheet) what will be supplied at a venue. Then I arrive and yes there's a flip chart but no paper. Or, the whiteboard has been covered in scrawl with a permanent marker! Or, the smart board isn't working. With this wonderful material you are never without a white board or something for your delegates/students/audience to work though activities on. Afterwards you can keep it or throw it away. The sheets will cling to most surfaces. I have put them walls, doors, windows and even plastic screens/signs.I used this on painted walls, Artex, fabric wall coverings, wood and felt covered Nobo boards. The static cling allows them to be easily pulled off with no damage at all to the underlying surface - yes no more being reprimanded or charge for blue tack/ sellotape damage... Brilliant!!!!I personally use this for delegates to perform activities on. As such I tend to throw away the sheets with one use. I use about 8 sheets per course. So I am not sure what it's like to either wipe clean or to repeatedly take up and down. For wiping clean I think dry wipe cleaning sheets would clean the sheets with no problem (providing dry wipe markers used). But as the sheets are thin, I doubt they would stand too many clean downs. As for the static effect wearing off in time, I have taken these down and moved them around without problems. If the static effect did wear off, I'd just revert to the usual method; blue tack. So not sure why some other reviews are whinging about this.If you think this product would serve you, my guess is you'd be absolutely right. I would never be without it.

I found that this product works really well to create an instant whiteboard, e.g. turning up for a meeting where you don't know if you'll have something to write on.First of all, most important, they really do stick. I have had some whiteboards up on the wall now which haven't fallen down for almost a year, and still going strong. I've stuck these to wood, painted wall, glass, and even bare bricks. If you keep taking them down and moving them somewhere else, eventually they will lose their static charge. It is possible to build this back up again by rubbing the sheets over vigorously e.g. with a microfibre cloth, but this won't ever quite restore their original stickiness. So my advice is to use these to create instant whiteboards, not whiteboards you can keep moving from place to place. They are erasable if you act quickly. Once a whiteboard pen has dried, you will now need a little spray of window cleaner and a microfibre cloth, and you'll be able to get it clean again. I find this works really well to keep reusing the board (but, as above, don't make it your plan to keep moving them around and cleaning them in between uses). The good news is that they are made of regular plastic so when a sheet has given up the ghost or become too dirty, it should be safe to recycle.Last tip, be careful about how you separate sheets as they will tear. Unroll until the perforation is only just off the roll. Pull away without any sideways motion. Pull firmly, with just enough force, and work from one edge to another. They really are this flimsy (if they were more durable they'd be heavier and so wouldn't stick). So, just be careful about how you separate the sheets and everything else is great.

I'm really impressed with this product. It stays on the wall well and is very easy to transport.I have found it a little difficult to clean off the writing if it's been on their for a while but in my experience that happens with whiteboard and using a little bit of effort is all that's really needed for the sheets to be usable again. The sheets are a little delicate and could year if care isn't taken but I've found that it hasn't been a problem for me - the first sheet tore in the corner but no problems since as I just separate them from the roll a little more slowly.

I have used this product for over 2 years. I have found no issues with the product, the static sheets stick to plastic boards, painted walls and glass. The sheets are similar size to the sheets on a flip chart without the weight. A dry wipe pen is also included, I have had no issues with the pen seeping through the sheet. I have been able to remove the sheet and place elsewhere, however I feel this could be down to the surface area and 'static' still being attached to the sheet.I would recommend this product to any teacher or trainer where display space is an issue.

Great product for revision on walls that you do not want to damage. Can re use over and over and the sheets STILL stick to the walls (not like other products) The pen that comes with is better than any other whiteboard pen (it is a lot more bolder colour). The sheets are big so do check the dimensions. Love this product. You need a cloth and glass or mirror cleaner. I would not leave the writing on too long (over a day) as then marks can appear (not without good cleaning anyway).

I bought this for the office as we don't have much whiteboard space there and I wanted something non-permanent that we could use for brainstorming or meeting notes. Overall, this does the trick. It clings to windows and painted walls and does erase easily. Also love the marker and eraser that comes with it. Only knocking off a star as the 'paper' is thinner than I thought it would be, which can make it fiddly to place on a surface.

We live in rented accommodation currently so this is a great option for our home office. It is a dry wipe surface, but only if you use a dry wipe pen ... sounds obvious but the pen supplied is a permanent marker. This may explain some other reviewers comments. Like with most whiteboards, if you leave the marker on the board for a prolonged time, it's harder to remove and I'd say that this is especially the case for this product.

We were having trouble with visitors wanting to temporarily fix posters to the walls and having a place to have quick adverts, the method being used left marks on the walls. Lagamaster has solved this problem as the sheets fix well to give a surface that can be written on with a white board marker and have papers attached. This leaves no mark when it is removed. It has solved our problem and I am very pleased with it.

As per some of the other reviews, I foolish purchased this thinking it was a reusable whiteboard, when in fact its actually a "flip chart" product. Notwithstanding that, the product itself is very good, clings well to interior walls and haven't yet had any issues with ink bleeding through. If you need portable flip chart, this is the product for you...if you're looking for a whiteboard then look elsewhere!

Great purchase, and I always have a few of them folded in my handbag for meetings. Whiteboards are great, but I love these. When I hold workshops and I need to take away the findings I can just take these down, fold them back up and put them up in my office for when I am creating reports. Afterwards I can wipe them clean and they are good to go again. I tend to get 2 or 3 times of usage for each sheet.

I like this product. This product should benefit with more detailed description.I looked at Magic Whiteboard (competitor product); however decided to buy this product because it is economical and also retains its static charge longer even if you remove from wall several times. This product is originally from Germany and invented in 2002; so much before other similar products in the market.

We bought this to use with our Brownie unit. We use it to capture our conversations when we have chats about activities or what we are planning to do in the future. We usually use it on the floor while we are talking then put it up on the wall so the Brownies can remind themselves of the discussions. Then we simply wipe clean and store til the next time we need it.

This stuff is brilliant for safe use on walls without the worry of blutac pulling paint or wallpaper off. I use it for my own 'to do' lists at home and have cut sheets into smaller squares for teaching activities. If you leave writing on it for too long it doesn't come off, so if you want to re-use it, remove text immediately after use. Highly recommended.

Using these as a way to have a notice board for shopping in our kitchen. They adhere through static to the gloss white sufraces very very well. The accompanied pen is good and writes well on the sheets surface.I dont know where I will use the other 24 (pack of 25) but this is a good versatile product with a shed load of applications.
