I looked at this and thought: "when would I ever actually want this?" Then, the Friday before Christmas, we did an open air gig in strong winds. The music was blowing everywhere, and regular pegs (and magnets) just wouldn't control it. That's when I realised that this was what I needed.Although it's billed as a copy-holder, it's really two strong clips linked together. There's also a sticky-bottomed piece which you can attach to your laptop (but, seriously, who would actually attach something like this to their laptop?) or desktop monitor for one of the clips to attach to. However, you don't have to use this, and, seriously, unless you are one of the rare breed of copy-typists,

A simple but effective design, this Kensington-branded copyholder comprises a short length of flexible cable/wire with durable plastic clips on either end. One of the clips comes with a small separate plastic piece with a self-adhesive pad on it, designed to attach to the top of a computer monitor, and to which the clip can be clipped if the monitor is too thick to attach it to directly. This Copy Holder is useful if you want to type from documents, or to have them readily visible when you are working from them. I do a lot of such work at my desk, so this is useful to me. However, it is worth saying that one end of this does need to stick to the top of your computer. As such, it won’t work well on a laptop, if at all, as the screen is not large enough to stick this on.However, assuming you are using a monitor at work, with enough space to stick this on the top, you can then twist this to fit. The clip is strong and you can easily attach documents to it, moving them so they are easy to see and, either copy from, or have available if you need to work from them. Not perfect, but,

As a writer and author, I have had no end of aggro having to refer to notes propped up at the side of my keyboard or PC. This genius invention takes the neck ache and frustration out of referring to your notes whilst on your lap top: you simply clip one end to the top of your screen to the side and on the other end the document you wish to refer to whilst working.No more stops and starts as you rummage around papers that keep sliding to the floor, or stopping every few seconds to crane over to it. I think this is a really good product. There isn't much available for holding papers that have to be referred to while typing or copied around now but this is the best I've seen and used that is. It is well made, as most Kensington items are, and the idea is excellent. There is a clip, a pretty strong one of a decent size, at each end plus a stick on attachment that can stick on a bulkier monitor and provide something for the clip at that end to clip on to. It's a simple looking product that does everything it is supposed to do. I recommend this totally. It's excellent.

This is a very unusual idea for a copy holder, but it's quite effective. It has a clip at each end, one to attach to your laptop or screen, and the other for your copy. If your screen is a bit too wide, there is a t-shaped piece of plastic with a double-sided sticky pad, which attaches to the plastic T and to the top of your monitor. Otherwise you clip it directly onto the top edge of your monitor. It is great for those of us who prefer to copy type with the text close to the screen as you can place it immediately to whichever side suits you. Ingenious idea.

This copy hold has two very strong clips that will not fail to hold paper or the screen they are gripping.The grip can be applied to a screen, or - if worried about the impact on the screen - clipped to a small plastic peg that applies to the screen with a high-quality 3M adhesive pad.The clip dangles off to the side of the screen, and can be used to hold up paper you need to refer to for notes, or that you wish to type up. It is very useful, as it holds notes at the same level as the screen, reducing neck strain.

This was perfect for what I needed it for. I had literally tons of papers I had to transcribe into type and didn't want to purchase one of the usual stands with the page holder because quite simply it wouldn't have fitted on my laptop. You cannot put a huge amount of papers into the holder, but that isn't a problem as it still holds quite a number. I will have to get another one though, not because of a fault with the product, but because one of my dogs used it as a dog toy!!

Well I'm using my Kensington FlexClip on my music stand. It means I can view three sheets of music at once rather than having to flick back and forth between them. The provided mount sticks firmly to the metal of the music stand and the clip then grips on to it very tightly. The other end will grip a single sheet of paper firmly and on a rough test I had 10 sheets in it and it still didn't slip or sag. Perfect for my needs.

It is a great product and works with sticky pad on mine but would have preferred it to have been attached on the pc as it would have been more stable.My PC is not the traditional style it is an "All in One" with wider back and sides so this clip doesn't fit on to it.There is a sticky pad that I have used but it still comes off.I have reviewed it as for traditional as it works great on my laptop.

This is a truly fantastic strong flexclip. Does what it needs to do. Clip onto your monitor one side so you can hold documents on the other. I am studying a law degree so I use it to hold my assignment questions so they are always in front of me as I work through a block of units. Whatever your use I don't think you will find a better clip system to work with!

product came as advertised in the picture,fast delivery and the packaging was good.it does the job, the sticky which is meant to attach to the laptop is to big for mine so i just clip it onto the laptop itself.the product is a bit heavy for what it is meant to do and therefore it tends to flop about at times but other than that it cheap and does what i need

Absolutely brilliant for what I want, clips onto my monitor (top right corner) and holds more than one sheet of A4 paper, but be careful, the bulldog clips are fierce and snap shut so tight that you'll easily catch your fingers in it. I bought for travelling with my laptop, so a perfect size and lightweight. Would buy again and recommend.

It does what it says, but not as strong as I would have liked it to be. Initially had given it 4 stars, but then changed it to 5 because just because I think it is not as strong as it should be, does not mean someone else will find it that way. I do have the tendency to push things to their limit.... I still feel like giving it 4 stars

This is the best document clip I have ever had! Never thought I would be excited about office stationary. Other holders I have had are clumsy and take up too much space on my desk - this doesnt take up any space as its just clipped to the side of my monitor. A really versitile and flexible little office tool for typists. Would recommend!
