It was a bit late but I have now received the noticeboard cork with pine. It is a little damaged on the corner probably from transit but nothing to worry about. I have mounted it on my wall and it does the job. It has being mounted using small nails and a hammer. I did not use the pins it came with as they seemed a little long, instead I used 'drawing pins' - - my main use for this thing is to post my old artworks on it to inspire me :)Is it worth the money? - Yes. it was under £9 when I bought it.Packaging could have being better though, and the back of the board could have being sturdier - that's why I give it 4 stars.I bought it from; LightingandMobileAccessoriesUK.

I desperately needed somewhere to place all the copious notes I make, and something large enough to take them all. I come across this one, and I must say it has so far ticked all my boxes. When it came through the door, I couldn't believe the size of it and thought I had made a (very big) mistake, but once you get rid of all the packaging, it shrinks down to a normal size and you can breathe a sigh of relief that it will actually fit in your home :) I decided not to mount mine (it comes with hooks already, as well as 5 or 6 pins) and use both sides of it. One side is my dissertation board, the other is my storyboard :) The only thing that would make this lovely product simply the best would be if it wasn't so flimsy.

I have a 'small' collection of lapel pins from all over the world that looks great, but was all in a few shoeboxes which was very difficult to show to friends and family. One suggested to put them "on display", but finding a solution to this wasn't very easy......until I saw this. I decided to try it, as it looked to be the solution to my problem. It was very quick and easy to wall mount, and the lapel pins affix to the board without any difficulty, and not one lapel pin has fallen from it! I was a little worried as the noticeboard looked flimsy when I got it, but I persevered, installed it onto the wall, and then happily added my lapel pins to the board. I'm glad I went with it,

I bought this to hang above my desk in a box sized room..Perfect size, perfect price, does the job (single sheets mainly, ideas, plans, deadlines etc..)It is quite flimsy if you wanted it for heavier items (e.g. calander), and probably wouldn't last long if continued to use it in this way!The pins I bought from the same company do come through the other side of the board ever so slightly when stick them in fully, however this isn't a problem as 1) It's attached to a wall so you can't see/feel the other side and 2) There's no need to stick them fully in for sheets of paper anyway. (There are shorter pins that come with the board, which i'm sure you can get more of if this was really a problem)All in all,

I know it's just a noticeboard, and there shouldn't be anything else really to review other than answering the question whether it keeps your notices up well ... but, I just wanted to let people know that it does that very well.... and it is easy to mount.It comes with two eyelets to hang it from that you just have to screw into the top (or on a side, if you want to hang it portrait orientated). Doesn't require tools to screw it in, just a little muscle power.Once I had those in, I put marked the wall through the eyelets for hanging. My hammering skills aren't great, so I didn't hit it bang on the mark. However, because the eyelets are screw on,

For the price, you can't go wrong. Their are few cork-boards that won't be flimsy when they're this big, so I wouldn't look any further if you need a cheap and cheerful model. In fact its probably better quality than I originally thought - the frame is only stapled together but it is surprisingly strong and the piece of cork board itself is about half a centimetre thick. Both sides of the board are equal, so if one side got worn out (or you had a grudge against it), simply flip it over and re-insert the hooks which are included.Heres a little tip: If you're having trouble inserting those nasty little hooks, use one of the included Pins to create a hole first by weaving it about on the spot.

I wanted a cheap but large pinboard to use at home, with cork so that pushing pins in would be really easy, with an unobtrusive but not unattractive frame, and light enough to hang on the wall with ordinary picture-hooks. So this one is ideal from my point of view, though it might not be solid enough for use in an institution. The sheet of cork is framed but not backed, which means the whole thing is very light, but it is thick enough to hold the pins firmly (they don't come through on the other side). The frame is pale wood, unvarnished. It arrived very quickly. If you want something really solid this would not be for you, but otherwise I recommend it.

I wanted a cheap board to pin notices etc on. It does the job very satisfactorily at a cheap price so pleased with it. The cork is very thin indeed as others have stated but I stuck some extra cardboard from the box it arrived in on the back and fixed it with strong packing tape. This much improved the rigidity and provided more depth for the pins. Without doing that being a little flimsy could be a problem so manufacturer please take note that a deeper cork bed would much improve the board and with deeper cork I would have given it a 5 star rating. If you want cheap and cheerful and don't mind the DIY addition then it works well as a notice board.

I was after a cheap pin board the same size as a world map (also brought on Amazon) so ordered this one. Is fairly flimsy but does the job of marking 'where i have been' in the world. Would imagine the board won't stand up to excessive use but you can't expect that for the price paid. Delivery was prompt even on the free 3-5 delivery and the packaging was excellent. Is holding my map and two dozen pins perfectly and i am happy with my buy.

It has been noted that the board is thin and it is. But it what I expected for the money and I had no issues tack nailing it to the wall, never bothered with the eye hooks. The cork is thin but then I don't need thick cork and the panel pins work just great. It holds my documents to the cork without issue and stays on the wall. Not for commercial heavy use but for domestic stuff it works a treat and looks great.

We wanted to create a "memory board" for our young foster daughter who has just left us to return to family. The board is a great size to stick lots of photos and notes on. The cost was very reasonable (a similar item was much more expensive in a retail store) and delivery was very prompt and earlier than forcast.We have now been able to create an excellent memory board for the young person.Excellent value!!

I ordered this late morning Monday and it arrived first thing Tuesday morning - having not paid anything extra for delivery, I was very impressed! It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It does feel a bit flimsy, but the cork is thick enough that pins don't come through the back. I'm only using this for my personal study at home, so for the price especially, this is perfect for me.

I have this up on my wall and it's perfectly functional, however it is reasonably flimsy so you will need to be quite careful when pinning anything on, I tend to hold the back of the board steady when I'm pinning as it feels as if the thin corkboard layer could easily go through. However saying that it's incredibly cheap and for my purposes, a notice board in a home office, perfectly adequate.

I liked these so much a bought 4 of them (~£5 each). They very light and move them around with different notes and papers on. You can use both sides if you should so wish. Though normal 1 cm long pins will go through the other side a little. However due to the bevel of the wooden edging I don't think this would cause them to go into any surface the boards are mounted on.

Soooo I didn't realise this was a 10 pack of cork boards, I thought I was just buying one but that's a good thing because now I have so many that I ended up giving them away to friends and housemates. It's kind of a staple for university halls and dorms and really useful too. I've covered mine in grey fabric to give it more modern edgy vibes and I am 100% happy with it
