Yes, there are 101 games, but a lot of them are quite similar in concept. The game works by giving you 10 games at first. When you complete these games (by reaching a specific points goal) you get cash which you can spend on new games, and as you go through the games more expensive ones appear. These more expensive ones are harder to complete but give you more cash in reward when you do.The variety is ok. From sports games such as basketball - simply flicking a ball into a basket with the stylus - to darts - again, flicking with the stylus - to puzzle games and asteroids style games, there is some range, but it gets a little tedious. However, these are all short games that last little over a minute,so if you dip in and out of them for maybe ten minutes at a time the monotony is muted somewhat.Overall, quite a good laugh and something different for when you just want a quick go on the DS.

I like this game - but I dont love it. The mini games are great - a lot of variety. The game I was delighted with is called 'serpent' and its the 'Snake' game off the old Nokia mobile phones - excellent!!This is the sort of game you can kill a few minutes here and there with, definitely has enough games to amuse for a long time!!The reason why I dont love it is...* you need two cards to play the multiplay version - my husbands not exactly going to buy the game as well so thats that out.* unless you dont mind others playing your game and unlocking the levels for you, no one else can play the game as if you click for a 'new game' it wipes all the game /scores and games unlocked clear. So its not like other games where you have a 'file' for each player and they can play a game separate to yours.I hope this helps!!

The game is very addictive because you have to pass certain games and collect so many coins in order to unlock other games. They give you 7 games to start with so i played them and saved up alot of coins so iv got plenty for the others. Some games are very unusual-dont know how they came up with them, some are really easy, some you need practice and some are really hard but you dont really have to pass every game to move on you just need the coins. When you cant pass a game which initially seems really simple but takes about 20 go's to pass it i found myself unable to put it down till i had done it. So probably not so good if you are very impatient. Also as you move on to the dearer games they get more difficult but you earn more coins from them when you do pass them. Highly recommend this game.

A collection of diverse mini games, keeping a football in the air, splatting flies by throwing food, putting the correct costumes on the horror characters are but a few, who could forget log dancing and serving burgers. You get 10 games to start and have to earn coins to unlock more games, the harder the game, the more it costs to unlock. You can play the games over and over again to earn coins if you are stuck and don't like the mini games you haven't complete or find them too difficult.I became frustrated with the first 10 games, but perservered and really began to enjoy the games. I would recommend as they become highly addictive, this is worth buying, plenty of variety for everyone - the only drawerback is you have to wipe all progress off to start a new player.

We bought our children a DS each for Christmas and they received some games from relatives. I bought this game because I thought it would be a break from the complicated plots of the games they already had.Well, they have not played anything else! There are favourites for all the family; my 7 year old boy likes the 'shooting spaceships' type games, my 10 year old daughter likes the 'silly' games like the Halitosis horror game where you have to clean a grotty set of teeth before time runs out. There is Sudoku for me and my husband likes the Battleships game. The game is easy to use; simply scroll across and choose the game you wish to play; the instructions are clear and precise, and the graphics are good too.Well worth the money.

I like this mix. It is full of harmless fun games that can be played in any spare five minutes. There is five games already open. To open the rest, you have to earn coins to buy the game. I have yet to open most of the more expensive games. Of the games I have opened there is quite a variety some easier than others. There is some I will probably never complete and ones I completed first time. You can play the open games to earn points so you can keep playing the easiest or your favourites. The only down sides are some of the games are over so quickly and the ones I have opened don't have higher levels (either that or I have not got though level 1!).It is a fun way of using up any spare time.

It is really nice game. I brought it for my daughter and she likes it very much. You can enjoy 101 mini games in 1. You can select your preferred language by touching flag on the screen. It is a collection of 101 games. When you first start to play you will find only 10 games out of whole collection are unlocked. Each game has its own target points (minimum points) to achieve & once it achieved you will earn bonus point which are added in your bank. You can user your points to unlock new game. As you move forward you need more point to unlock new game. The price you have to pay to unlock new game varies game to game and it is displayed in game selection menu.Good time pass games !!!

If you like short but addictive games then you'll like this! It only arrived yesterday but I'm loving it! You start with 10 of the 101 games, to unlock the others you need to win a certain amount of coins from the other 10 games then you get the bonus, which you use to unlock the other games, some of the other games only require a small amount of coins to unlock other require a larger amount. It's so addictive because the more games you win the more new games you can unlock! The quality of the pictures and the variety of games are excellent!! If you're looking for a fun addictive game defiantly go for this!!

Of the ten starter games I found about 7 interesting and fun. I found Basketball quite difficult to score in, but maybe that's just me. I like the easy minimal navigation between games which involves dragging the screen or touching an arrow using the stylus. I look forward to unlocking all the games in due course as you don't know quite what to expect, and I can see this will provide hours and hours of fun. Great to play at home, whilst travelling or on a plane, and good fun for adults too. Not quite 5 stars as I haven't seen all the games yet, but definitely recommended if you like arcade like mini-games.

good game, you start off with 10 games, the more you play the games and earn points, the more new games you can buy, the games are similar to the type you get on the i phone, some are really addictive, the only bad point is that you can't save your progress permenantly,so if you've built up your number of games and then start the game up and select new game as opposed to continue then all progress is lost! My 4 year old son loves this game,as do my wife and i so thourghly reconmend this game to all casual gamers

Games for young and old(er)!Enough of a challenge to challenge, but not bring about brain meltdown. The variety is considerable, and the difficulty is up to you by the choice of game. Value for money it is,ideal for those of us who are old enough to need to show younger family members that we can do well on games!A short video of the types of games would have been useful,as the term "games" covers a multitude of sins waiting to be committed! Written by a 59year old D.S.fan!

This is a good game with a complete pick and mix approach. Some games are easy and can be done first time, some take time to do and others are devilishly difficult. You are better off using the controls rather than the stylus on some of the games. You have to work it out!I still haven't finished all the games but enjoy the challenge each time and replay some of the games again. One of the better games out there for the DS and fun for all the family.

bought this game for my 8 year old, well shes not had a chance to go on it as me and my husband have been playing it. great fun and lots of the games you have to buy with tokens you get from winning the games that are open so there is a challenge to try and win the games.i would say there is games on here for all ages and a very wide range of games too from drawing to skill to shooting and memorywell worth buying

I initially bought my Nintendo Ds as a result of seeing the Brain Training. I am, as a rule, not a fan of computer games, but this 101-In-1 Explosive Megamix is right up my street. Whilst I do agree with some of the other reviewers negative comments, overall I love this game! Some of the games are quite easy & others are frustratingly difficult, but I do like the variety & cannot rate it highly enough!

This game is great fun and is in my top list of must own essential DS games. When you first start the game you are given ten games only unlocked. The object is to play the games and collect coins. Which you use to purchase the other games. These range in price and difficulty. The harder the game the more expensive it is. Overall a very addictive game that you won't want to put down.
