I brought these to kit out my house having seen a lot of negative reviews; in all honesty hoping the sensitivity issues were resolved / unfounded. Unfortunately it is not a myth fully busted.tl;drPlacement height is very important.The long answer:Being of the type that only reads instructions if it doesn't do what I want it to do I set about putting the sensors where the old sensors were mounted - thinking the person before me was competent enough to put them there for good reason. Initial testing showed that my short but broad frame was not able to set it off regardless of my dance moves. Darn, I was going to need to return it. It was then that I turned to the manual and found two things:1)

2 rabbits and 1 cat in the house and the alarm system does not alarm on them moving around. I know this because I've watched the cat moving around the house on CCTV. It most certainly alarms on seeing us straight away; 6' 2" and my wife 5' 2". I have no idea why others have said the opposite but I followed the instructions, registered it with the hub and mounted it at the right height and BINGO! Perfect. I have tested it repeatedly and it works every time as advertised.23 November '17 update.We've not had one false alarm since installation. But, I hear you say, is it actally working? We can testify that it does as we have walked through to an alarmed room, half asleep, without deactivating it.

Great product. You have to test it out a few times to find the right location otherwise it won't trigger even if a human walks past it. I have mine about 6foot 5" above ground facing a straight corridor and works well, but it struggled to set off if I walked past it in a small bedroom.

These detectors are easy to install, I actually installed them with no nails and once set re-instated the front. They are smart, small and you don't notice them. They work well, although can at times not detect my children - I suspect mistaking them for pets!

I found this product easy to install. You have to make holes in the back panel using a screw driver depending on where you want to affix it. Once you have done that it is easy. Integrates into the existing system quickly and on testing performs well.

Its ok and easy to set up. Just be aware it only detects tall intruders which is what makes it pet friendly for animals kept at floor level near to the PIR.

The system is very easy to install. We have tested all elements and found that the system responds quickly in all testing modes. Very happy purchasers

Spot on we have 2 bichon frise and had no false alarms as long as we block access to the stairs which makes the dogs seem tall we give them 5+++++

Installation and programming is very easy. The only problem is it does not come with double sided sticky pads. The screws are too short.

Really easy to expand your existing alarm system. Just pair the PIR up with your hub and mount the PIR. Job done.

Very easy to set up.sticky tabs are Ok on wall paper but did not work on painted walls well

So far no false alarms caused by the cat after 4 months so seem to be well worth it.

Hopefully does what it says on the carton. Easy to install and register.

Very easy to connect to Yale system. Unobtrusive and does the job.
