I bought a ThermoPeanut because I wanted to monitor the temperature in a second property but didn't need a thermostat to control the heating, so the price was right. I've been testing it alongside my Tado thermostat and the temperature readouts are consistent (I had to set the offset +.4C to start with). I have it paired to an old Android smartphone (no SIM) to act as a hub/gateway via the wifi. It uploads the temperature at 15 minute intervals to the cloud and and I can access this from wherever I am via the app on a second phone. Just what was needed.Edit: I have been very happy with ThermoPeanut over the past 3 months and recently bought 3 GuardPeanuts for my external doors,

Hi, I bought a ThermoPeanut via a Czech supplier in Prague.When it arrived, it was not possible to connect it to the SensePeanut iPhone App.I contacted Sense.se support who responded quickly and were very apologetic that the sensor didn't work.I sent my Peanut back, they gave me a voucher to order a new one for free from their website.The replacement arrived, and it is working fine.It connected to the iPhone app after about 20-30 seconds, and then the app updated the Peanut software which took another minute or so. I have my first measurements that seem accurate enough. I'll update my review in a few weeks when I have more data to review.1 star lost due the the first defective unit.

Neat little device. Connects well. I have it connected to my tablet so when I'm away I can see how warm it is simply by looking on my phone. Only one device can be connected by Bluetooth at once but others will automatically connect via internet so you can view remotely. Seems accurate and so far hasn't lost connection. Only compatible with nest and not hive. It'll talk to hive by ifft but you cannot then see anything in the actual hive app. Quite pricey too. I wish you buy them in packs. Could see many a use for them.

I really love the Thermopeanut. It send accurate temperature recordings to my phone on a regular basis and I can see, using a graph in app, how the temperature has varied. I have my Thermopeanut outdoors but it can be placed anywhere - a nursery, inside a fridge, greenhouse, in your purse. Anywhere! It also works with IFTTT if that is your thing. A great gadget with really responsive and excellent customer service.

Wow, how good are these, you can see the current temperature and daily, monthly & yearly averages, you can even use IFTTT to switch on things according to the temperature such as Lightwaverf heating, you can even see the temperature of your peanut from anywhere so long as you have a mobile data connection and a bluetooth device in the house reading the peanut. Highly recommended, fantastic devices

This is an excellent app. I have a carer for my wife. The carer complains about the temperature in her room. With the ThermoPeanut I can see the history of the room temperature. Also a wonderful device to put in an outbuilding such as a greenhouse (to check for excessive heat in the summer) or where there are water pipes (to check for possible pipe freezing in the winter).

Very good product; I'm able to accurately measure the temperature of my insulin bags, fridge, or just the inside of my house. Especially useful with my insulin as its so delicate to temperature. This has been a very useful product, and very easy to use too - you simply connect it to your smartphone with an app, and it tells you the temperature.

I resented paying £25 for a thermometer for our pet room, however I'm pretty impressed. It's tiny, works seamlessly and the app is very streamlined and user friendly. Helpful you can set temperature alerts so i don't worry and check constantly, and you can turn the noise off on the device so it doesn't annoy them. Fabulous idea.

Well executed product but it takes AGES for it to match the room temperature, it definitely isn't real-time, and sometimes gives odd measurements. I suggest the maker of this product do some more QA.

Great little gadgets. I have two in two freezers in the garage, and the Bluetooth Low Energy works through two brick walls. Had an issue with one, but Alain at [email protected] fixed it. Merci Alain.

great little invention, its on my keys, would be really good if it could be linked to stringify or IFTTT so when i am shutting down my smart home at night, this would activate
