This is a five star product in every way except the small size of the wiring (junction) box - as stated frequently in the feedback section here.You will need to be really quite adept at wiring in a confined space if you are to find this easy at the top of a rickety ladder fixing it to your security light’s electric supply. This was fitted by an expert electrician and he agreed with the electricians who have fed back her that installation that maintains weather resistance is not for the inexperienced.The clue is that the seller has asked for the "sheerness" to be scored by the reviewer (me). Because it is too sheer, I scored it one star for that.

IP 65 obviously I wont expect water penetration on this PIR device. The vertical and horizontal adjustment is actually very well thought out, perfect for my needs and exactly what I bought it for. I think this is the only one that has this adjustment and certainly with IP65 rating, that I've come across. I don't know how these can be made at such a low price because it is an excellent high quality PIR. Only had it a few days but so far the detection is really good. The one thing which I don't like is the tight cable entry area but as long as the wires are tidy and outer sheathing is prepared properly its fine, I wouldn't change it from what it is.

I installed three of these motion detectors. For security, yes but also for convenience.They were easy to wire up to the three LED floodlights that I bought from Amazon making excellent value for money.Now, when I am going to/from the car the driveway is illuminated very well, similarly if I (or anyone else) moves around the property at night, these detectors trigger the floodlight.There is good adjustment for range sensitivity and also the adjustment of the time that the floodlight stays activated (the preferred time is from the moment that the last movement was detected).

I liked the IP65 reading, as I have had other ones with a lower rating that have not lasted well. This is the second one I have bought. The first is near the flue of my boiler and often gets the steam plume over it, and I do notice a drop of water inside the front glass bit. But it is fine at the moment. These things should be made totally watertight and airtight.

Quick delivery , item works well only downside is it doesn't detect movement behind the shower screen and it's hard to find a balance between how long you want the lights to run when you leave the room and how long it stays on when your in the shower as it doesn't detect you in there. Still bought another 2 though as great idea and works in other bathrooms

Purchased to replace a 25 year old Wickes branded PIR sensor that had developed a mind of its own. Actually appears to work very well. No sensitivity adjustment so sensitivity can only be changed by pointing the sensor towards the ground - that's OK or me in this case. It works. Not much space in the rear for two cables but it can be made to work.

I repaired an old outdoor lantern with a broken PIR using this motion detector. It works very well but was very difficult to install because of the tiny space into which the connections have to fit whilst still maintaining its waterproof integrity. It took me a long time and a lot of frustration to get it right. Now that it's done it is very good.

I bought two of these to replace some older partially working unbranded ones.They work well wired up in parallel - both outdoors - 1 under an external porch ceiling and one on vertical wall. I had no problems wiring them nor fixing them together to maintain the (hopefully) IP65 seal. (Time will tell!)Nice easy to turn (and see) adjustments

Nice little unit that I've managed to wire up to control both 18w Xpelair extractor fan and 8w LED bulb in downstairs cloakroom. Needed to remove the extractor fan run on timer board before it would work. Minimum time seems to be longer that stated in the paperwork but suits me as wanted the extractor to run on for around one minute.

This was a replacement for my bathroom light switch. Simple to install and hassle free. More hygienic than a pull cord and no more thumbling around in the dark searching for the light switch. Great if you have kids or have mirrors and shower screens that could be damaged by heavy weighted pull cords.

This was bought yo replace an existing sensor that was continually going off.Installation was a bit fiddly as there is not much room in the connector part.However once done and tested I'm quite happy with it.How reliable it is will be seen over the long term and i will update if necessary.

it looks good and neat I don't know who reliable it will be I hope its ok I am sick of electrical stuff failing after just a few months .back in the 1980s stuff lasted but it cost a lot more money back then and was a lot bigger ,I still have stuff from the 1980s that works now {hifi stuff}

Been running one of these for several months and no issues to report. Good that the connections have screw down fittings unlike others with the supposedly faster push fittings which in my experience are less reliable.

Installed 2 of these 1 in garage 1 in hallway about a year ago , very easy to install both still working great . Did have Wi-Fi ones but these are far more reliable thank you .

So good bought 2 to operate my bathroom fans. Operates bathroom fans independently of the light switch as other members of the family prone to showering as if in a steam room.
