Some of us simply have to have virtually every tool available. This was one that had, until now, escaped my collection! So far I've only used it on three quarter ply for construction purposes but it zipped through like a much larger circular saw but with the ease of one hand operation. The depth of cut is generous for a saw blade of this size so the range of wood it cuts is greater than some other makes. Don't know much about the brand but based on this tools performance I'll no doubt be tempted to buy from them again...especially if they come up with something I haven't got! JM

The 700w version is certainly up to the job, it cuts through the thickest plywood sheet.it is easy to handle and guide in a straight line and cuts cleanly without rough edges.The only thing I found when cutting metal sheet is, because there is no speed control it is a bit fierce.so the metal sheet has to be well supported. it would have been nice to control the speed like an electric drill.

first one arrived but laser not working but recieved another promptly got replaced bit annoyed at that. Have tried it out and its great , cuts 4x2 no trouble and if used properly without forcing it to cut faster letting it at its own speed. only concern is thickness of the blade may reduce the life of blades .Time will tell.

The saw was much better than I expected I used it to cut down 5 doors which I was replacing and it made short work of them it is light and easy so I could use one hand and hold the door with the other hand I also have many other jobs I am going to use this for it was well worth the money and I recommend to anyone

Very good saw,I bought this saw after using 3 years of old version 400w, but this one is more powerful, and doesn't stop, or find any job hard to cut, does job what it say, smooth to run, brilliant go for it.

Great little power saw, great for fitting my minerva worktops, makes easy work of the cut outs for the hob / sink.great addition to my power tool collection.

I bought this for my son he loves it, so versatile, usable size for a non professional, slightly heavier than expected but such good quality.

if you are looking for good saw for cutting doors, trust me this is the best with the lazer light it's a accurate cut first time.
