Wii Sports alongside the Wii brought gaming to millions of people who have never touched a console game before, but that was 2006 and now it's 2014.Wii Sports at the time took gaming to a new level with it's new amazing hi-tec sensor controls. I have been a gamer for over 25 years and I loved the freshness of these sensor controls and which it gives these five sports games and many more great Wii games over the years. You can play Baseball, Bowling, Golf, Tennis or Boxing and each of the five sport games feel very close to the real thing which makes them great fun to play with friends and family. In fact try playing the boxing for one hour and your arms will start to really ache.I enjoy playing the Tennis most which is very fast and frantic and Bowling is a right laugh with my nine year old daughter and my sisters children.You can play all games online now, with score boards and other stats. The graphics haven't really improved that much from the Wii version. All games use the superior MotionPlus controller's, which gives you better control. The best new feature is the use of the GamePad when playing Golf. You lay the GamePad on the floor and you can see the golf ball. Use the Wii controller over the top of the GamePad when taking a shot, for a even more realistic feel then before.If for some chance you don't already own Wii Sports for your Wii, then you really should give Wii Sports Club a go for your Wii U. For everyone else I don't think there is enough different, to make this a worth while purchase if you own Wii Sports on the Wii already.

We already own 'Wii Sports Resort', but as that dates back to 2009, the graphics can leave a lot to be desired. OK - so this game is designed to work on the Wii U platform, thus it encompassses the Game Pad.There are five games: golf; tennis; baseball; bowling and boxing. The golf and bowling are enhanced versions of the original Wii Sports Resort game, but have enough additional twiddly bits to retain your interest. Examples include teeing off using the Game Pad and in regard to bowling, the ball's specific weight can be adjusted and additional points gained by hitting tabs.The baseball takes a fair amount of getting used to as the player takes it in turns to bat and pitch.The boxing is also a little strange at first, but it's fairly energetic and fun. The tennis is also a little odd, especially the angles, but I like it.In conclusion: I'll update this review as I become more au fait with the game itself. I do find that the Wii U suffers in comparison to its rival consoles, due to the fact that there's a limited number of games for it.

There is nothing revolutionary here this is basically Wii Sports in HD.The one notable addition is the online play which is a big plus.If you liked Wii Sports / Resort and have a Wii U then this just about warrants the cost.Just to point out that you do need Motion Plus Wiimotes to play so if you don't have those already this could add to the cost.

Fun for the whole family, if you've ever played wii sport on the old wii then this is definitely a good upgrade.It feels like all the kinks are ironed out now and the added online play features are a nice touch, i like the idea of representing my "club" online its brilliant, plus my clubs nearly number 1 online!!!

Excellent sports game - would have liked a few more sporting activities but otherwise all pleased with overall experience. Wii Controllers work well with Wii U console & clever use of Wii U gamepad. I would only add make sure that controller or sensor bar batteries are not running out whilst playing.

We have two girls, aged 10 and 13, and this is really good fun for us to play all together. Recommend getting the proper wii motion plus remote, the normal remotes with the little attachment didn't seem to work with the game very well.

This is quite entertaining and great for kids of all ages. Some skill is involved to do well but can be picked up quickly enough. Definitely need the motion plus controllers and the more the better for team play up to four..

My nephew loves it. He has always been a wii sports fan, it was about time they released one on the wii u. It's a enjoyable family game, even I could spend hours on it lol. This arrived quickly and nicely packaged.

I love this game, I don't normally play tennis or golf but it's a great stress buster after working in a school kitchen. I wish there was a singles match option though on the tennis instead of just doubles

A great update on the original Wii Sports. Contains some familiar family favourites, but also has some new games which are equally challenging and fun. Great entertainment for all the family!

Have played this when on Christmas holiday a few years ago, and having purchased a Wii wanted to buy this to play at home. Recommended for group play or solo. Great fun.
