When I first bought played this game I didn't give it more of a chance last time I reviewed this game after playing zombi and playing dying light I realize that zombies is better yes its still dated yes this game plays like a ps2 title but once you get used to keeping your character alive and learning how to use gadgets find guns like rifles knowing where the undead are and being aware of your surrounding using unlocked short cuts to get away quick and wincing wen you mess up sometimes funny at times I accidentally got sachel charges out wen fighting a zombie and blew myself up another time I got jumped and killed I got to tower of London which I will be honest is bloody hard as you come acrossbomb zombies that show up and detonate anywhere i copped it trying to reach the extraction helicopter which because I was killed by a stupid bomb zombie and the game forced me to watch my failure the games ai varys if your doing poor or make mistakes you will die if you do well the will reward you by keeping your survivor alive but you will eventually die on zombie u it was a little different if you got bit 3 times you died and the narrator would say something like oh for Christ sake why did you have to go and die I trained you better than that if you side with others he will get annoyed saying its your choice you side with them I won't help you stuff like that so its good now for compare to dying light this game rocks dying light is good but guns you don't get straight away you have to constantly find stuff to craft which I hate open world games zombie games where you have to find a piece of metal for a lockpick or cloth alcohol for med kits zombi has none of it dying light zombies are every where and melee is pants weapons break are useless guns attract hordes on zombie not so much yes they are about but you can use a scanner to locate them and it gives you more feeling your in a zombie apocalypse dying light is like dead island if you have played it oh and you get NPCs that send you on useless fetch quests to collect stupid things but zombie the only thing you got to worry about is staying alive using your bug out bag Bob listen watch your surroundings which is great true this game won't set the world on fire but at £10 or under you can't go wrong now all I got to do is head to the Winchester and wait till this all blows over lol

Is this game any good? Yes, is the answer to the question you're asking yourself. Compared to recent zombie apocalypse titles like dying light and dead island, it lacks the polish and complexity but it contributes something of its own to a well populated genre. The concept of permanent death is executed well, where risk and reward comes into play.It's slow in pace with a lot of cautious exploration and you find yourself constantly checking your environment for supplies and danger.It doesn't have an open world but smaller interconnected maps you can freely return to, amd missions require you to backtrack. Its slightly more linear in that respect but to me it can be a good thing because open world sandboxes does grow tiresome after a while.Sometimes its good to have a tight game where you know what to do and where to go, without aimless wandering and messing around just to fill the time.Graphics wise it does lose points for lack of polish but its not entirely bad. Nothing about it displays current gen magic but it's acceptable considering its a budget title.The gameplay excels despite a lack of originality. The permadeath idea is well done and adds to the tension (as well as frustration!).Overall, its a neat survival horror game that does have its rightful place amongst the other zombie titles out there. Plus at such a cheap price, it provides a nice little affordable gaming distraction.

You take place as a survivor who isn't prepared for the apocalipse but still surived somehow. You get into someones hidey-hole an got instructed on how to be prepared. This where your story starts, get on your missions.I am always interested Nintendo products because they are so elegant and futuristic concepts. The only problem is that most 3rd parties can't get their heads around them so mostly the Nintendo products use the system well to bring an outstanding experience.So I was very curious how will this 3rd party launch title perform. It does it very well! All the elements are distributed between the TV and the gamepad so they get the most out of them.Controlling the character is surprisingly easy.Graphics and sounds are great and brings you the chills you wanted. If only the character is not screaming all the time but oh well. And text could be much much bigger so one can actually read what to do instead of guessing.BTW it has the Nintendo attitude in a way you don't die and loose all progress. When you die you got a new character and can kill your previous one who now is a zombie and has your stuff.Summary, I will play the hell out of this game during this pandemic.Read full review...

This is by far the best zombie game for me, since the very first resident evil on sega Saturn.This, as the original resident evil are games that give you a lot of scare and tension specially if you play this in survival mode, you have only one life, and barely any bullets, and zombies get really hard after the introduction part.I played this originally on the wiiU, both versions are excellent, with good graphics, no jaggies, good sound, just a shame they didnt crank up this to 4K.I still prefer the wiiU version, the gamepad as a backpack or map makes all the difference.In games like resident evil 7 or any other zombie modern game, you are not afraid of dying as you just restart from the checkpoint,here, when your character dies, he turns into a zombie, it makes you really care for the character and to explore everything to get bullets and things to help you.This and Alien Isolation are the ONLY good survival horror games on the market today. esident evil is not bad but its a lot more scripted.

I've only played survivor mode so far, and, despite taking a bit of getting used to (I was trying to locate the bag, but instead went in circles for about half an hour) it's more than decent for the price. At first glance, it's nothing special in terms of visuals, but it's also very easy to forget that it's not supposed to be. Nor is it supposed to have the souped up combat of Dying Light with its array of weapons and upgrades, though the first one I had to kill to get my bag - the random previous guy - took a lot of hits with a cricket bat to die, so I'm not looking forward to the moments in the game where I'm forced to attack.I'll probably miss the power and convenience of the upgraded wrecking machines that Dying Light afforded!But I like the fact that I'm thinking 'This is going to be hard' instead of 'This is going to be fun'An instruction manual would have been handy, because there are a lot of controls, but that can be worked around.

Ok graphics are no where near "Next Gen" but never have I played a zombie game where I have felt so vulnerable. This game is packed with atmosphere. For those who have played and made it all the way to "The Nursery" level you will understand when I say I have never felt so on edge in any other zombie game and I've played them all. Great price plus London setting is so cool.

I like it, it's a lot different from most zombie games. Rather having a hero who jumps into a crowd of zombies with a over the top custom made weapon this game focused on the basics of weapon. I find the game a mix in the Xbox 360 game Condemned and The Walking Dead. It focuses on more sneaking around and trying to avoid zombies rather than no stop carnage.

Really fun game more specialised in sneaking around then total carnage with amazing weapons,you pick up weapons as you go but this is more of a tactical approach then guns blazing, graphics are basic not the best looking game but still really fun to play.If you've played it on wii theirs probably nothing new for nextgen consoles!

although the graphics aren't the best it has a good storyline with good plot twists if you are looking for a game that has an amazing storyline put not worry about the graphics this is the game for you

No fault to the seller. Arrived in excellent time as promised. The game itself isn't worth playing on the Xbox. Fine for the Nintendo Wii but not Xbox/ps4

It's really good aside from the clunky melee controls, you do and can get used to it eventually.The only thing i didn't like, were the load screens.

A bargain price for a first person Zombie killer. But don't buy if you've already played the Wii U version. This doesn't give you anymore.
