There are 12 different sports games to enjoy on Wii Sports Resort. The first one is Swordplay and you hold the Wii Remote in both hands as though it were a sword, with the buttons facing you. When attacking with your sword the wider you swing your Wii Remote movements, the more powerful your blow will be and if you are lucky you might hit your opponent off the edge into the water which is great fun. For defending hold your Wii Remote at a angle whilst holding the B Button to block your opponent's attack and knock them off balance.Wakeboarding is good fun as you try to score as many points as possible by performing acrobatic jumps on the water.For Wakeboarding you hold the Wii Remote with both hands as if you were gripping the handle of a tow rope. You tilt the Wii Remote left and right which tilts your board for the steering and flick the Wii Remote for jumping over the boats wake.Next we have Frisbee in which you can play with a dog or play Frisbee Golf which is a bit odd. For throwing the Frisbee you need to hold the Wii Remote at chest height whilst holding the B Button and swing it in an arc at the direction of your target, then release B to let the Frisbee fly.One of my favourites sports is Archery but it is a bit tricky to master. With Archery you use your Wii Remote and Nunchuk. To shoot an arrow you hold your Wii Remote upright whilst hold the A Button. Then on your Nunchuk hold the Z or C Button and draw your Nunchuk backwards whilst taking aim and release your Nunchuk button to shoot your arrow.I'm not so keen on the Basketball game but it is still fun especially in multiplayer. To pick up and shoot the Basketball you tilt the Wii Remote inwards and press the B Button to pick up the ball then, swing your Wii Remote over your head and give it a flick to throw your ball.The Table Tennis game works ten time better then what it did in Wii Play and is great fun. With the Golf and the Bowling you have more control with your aiming but the improvement isn't as great because they worked good on Wii Sports.The Power Cruising reminds me of a great game I had on the N64 called Waverace which was ace. You hold your Wii Remote and Nunchuk as if you were holding the handle bars of a bike. For me this is the best sports game in Sports Resort and Nintendo really do need to give us an update of Waverace please.Canoeing is fun as you hold your Wii Remote with both hands and do paddling movements from left to right as you pass through checkpoints trying to beat other players.Cycling will make your arms ache a bit. You start at last place and you must try to overtake everybody to finish the race first. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk you move them up and down alternately which is ok but for me it's one of the weaker sports to play on offer here.I love Air Sports because the Skydiving and the flying of the plane remind me of the most excellent games I have for the SNES and N64 which is Pilotwings. For flying you hold your Wii Remote in your hand like you would a paper aeroplane. When do the Skydiving the Wii Remote represents your Mii's body!So there you have it Wii Sports Resort really shows you what Wii Motion Plus can do and is wonderful at the same time. If you have Wii you need this game in your collection because for me it's the most fun I have had with my friends and family since Mario Kart Wii!

I hate to have to effulge about someone who sold goods as exactly what they were,but here we are.This was sold as new, is new, and is pristine in package.Not a great acheivement but worth mentioning in the world of console games - so many are soldas "good" or better when the "kids" took the discs for a 'skate' around a car-park data-side down.Anyway, delivered quickly and product exactly as described. This should not be a rarity but it'sprobably worth a chuck under the chin to keep our expectations up.

Received the game on time - disappointed that I was not aware that a particular type tof remote control was neccessary o play the games however once I got that sorted more than pleased with the games. Its for young kids but because its a more 'active' based game then more fun, a little exercise and you can see the development of cordinations etc.I would recomend this no problem!

This game, is fun the games are (mostly) really fun and it has stamps, which are basically achievements. I like this, it keeps you playing trying to get that one stamp, and you can try and get high scores or become the champion or connect another wiimote and play multiplayer, a great game to play if you are just looking for something to keep you entertained

This disc had a good selection of varied games on it.My wife and I enjoy it as much as the kids (girl 8yo & boy 6yo). We wanted a games console which involved lot's of movement and NOT a vegetable state sat on the sofa. This games disc provides lot's of great games making it a fun light exercise session.Defo recommend.

I love the whole concept of wii sports resort.I play it multiple times during the day.There are 12 mini games in one including swordplay,bowling,archery and cycling.My favourite game would have to be swordplay showdown because it is so fun.I get so carried away whilst playing it!

Customer Service was really great, first disc arrived promptly but didnt work (used, too many scratches), very quick response to my return request, returned it and received a replacement disc which does work, I am now very happy! Great price, great customer service!

Bought this game for the half term lockdown. It is providing hours and hours of fun, it is keeping us all entertained and moving during this week long half term in lockdown conditions. Loved by children and adults.

Have had the same game years ago and found it great fun, unfortunately unable to play at present as have had to order a motion plus sensor for the controller as forgot when ordering game that this was required!

All the games are really fun to play, the graphics and CGI are amazing, it is really responsive and overall a great game to play. Ifmyiu are looking for a good nintendo wii game, then buy this one.

The perfect addition to a Christmas present. It didn't matter that they were second hand in fact you wouldn't have known;. The kids didn't care and the quality is great. Quick Delivery.

My son absolutely loves this game. He played it at a friends house then wouldn't stop talking about it. Needless to say he was very happy when he opened this on this birthday

bought this as a Christmas present not realizing to play this you also need the Wii motion sensor at the end of the remotes, this should be stated when selling the game

a superior Wii selection, with some of the old Sports Faves thrown in, great for Family play , Guest visits. Don't forget you need the motion plus sensors or remotes

I love this game!! It's great for hours of fun I especially like the frizee game where it's like golf but with a frizee!! Would definitely recommend this game!
