As someone that still thinks that Wii Sports is the best game on the Wii so far I'm probably not the best person to write a review .. But all the same I willI have a 4 y/o grand son and a wife that hates games consoles but BOTH love Wii Sports and the fact that it doesn't take a lot to get good at the game and also you can have a laff while doing so - in fact my wife has still only lost once to me at bowling.So - I digress - I saw this and thought cricket, soccer, American Football, Volley Ball (alas no sign of nubile females in skimpy bikinis) etc. can't be all bad so bought it on a whim and have not regretted it -If yr a hard core gamer (why did you buy the wii :-)?)this is not for you - but if you're a family person looking for a few hours (our first foray was for four hours) - then this is a game for youThe music plinks along and drives you mad - you are not totally sure if you really have control at all times - but it is GREAT FUN!!! which after all is what I bought the Wii for -This is definitely one of those games that you will bring out on a rainy afternoon - or at the end of a Saturday after a good meal and way too much wine and all will enjoyGameplay is fun - graphics are fine - the mixture of sports and ways of playing are very interestingBest of all - within a few minutes you'll be having fun - so what if you lose your first beach cricket match - it's like real golf for the most of us - you'll enjoy the fact that you did score a six into the sea and ended up with -38 runs :-) (kinda like a par on the 4th and a round of 130)So - honestly - if you have a Wii - play it like me - now and again - then this is probably a great game to have for family and friends that don't come around that often but will enjoy a game that has immediate results and doesn't take an age to learn or require hours of intense concentration to get to the end.Only 4 stars - well would of been 5 but the music really does drive you insane :-)Hope this helpsA

Fed up with playing cover-drives in Wii Sport's baseball, bowling like it's cricket?Well now we have a game of cricket. It's a start!Yes, cricket is featured amongst the other beach sports. Bowl a spiner or hit a shot into the sea for a six. It's good fun and great for children.The other games are good too. Nice to see out British Football on there with American Football!! Everything is beach, everything is colourful and hot!So poor yourself a large glass of Tequila and become the next Graham Napier!One day we will have full cricket for our favourite console but in the mean time, have fun, get a tan and stay on the beach!

One question id like answered. How can they sell such a good quality game for so cheap and still make a profit good enught to make it worthwhile? the price I paid I was expecting some marks on the disk/ damaged box/ missing booklet or torn cover but when it arrived I was very surprised to see that the disc and case are in mint condition with no marks anywhere and all booklets included. The disc loads without any problems as it should and the game play is perfect. I highly recommend this game to anyone after a fun packed game for the whole family to play even my 3 year old enjoys playing along

I played this for the first time last night. I played with a friend and we had a go at each of the games. It was great!! There is a good variety, the graphics are fun and bright and the controls are easy to pick up.I bought this game because of the cricket element, and although not test cricket by any stretch the swings of the wii remote for bowling and batting have been well thought out.The other games are good too... the boules was particularly popular!This game is great value for money at under £13 and is a good addition to your collection.

I bought this game because it contained a cricket game. Admittingly it is only beach cricket, but given the lack of a decent cricket game on the Wii, it is more than adequate. If you are familiar with the Kwik Cricket version played in UK schools, then you'll find this exactly the same except it being on the beach.Positives: All the games are a lot of fun for the whole family and learning the basic skills are pretty easy. Worth the money spent.Negatives: Does not have Mii support. the music can get a bit irritating (but can be turned off).

Ok...so wii Beach Sport is not the 'gamers' no.1 game, but it has it's own fan base and that is families who want fun, it is easy to play, good graphics and brings out the competiveness even in a 7 year old! I would place it alongside wii sport that comes with the wii as the only game our 2(age 7&10) will put in the console and play on their own. So really when looking at review think about what you are actually looking for if you want family fun on a family budget then this is a good game to buy.

my sister brought me this for my birthday and i have found it really good. The first thing you need to do is create a character which is nice and easy. You can then also connect to a nintendo DS to draw the facial features for your player which is great fun!There are 6 games on big beach sports which is just a nice amount. They are asy to play but enjoyable.

Really enjoyable fun for the whole family to get involved. My 5 year old son is quite a wizz at all of the games. Disc golf and boules are great and the games are easy enough to play, although hubby said you need to know the rules of american football to make it easier to play it. All in all would recommend it as good value for the money.

This product may seem cheap and cheerful, and yes it does have those qualties, but for a game so simple it can be quite good fun. However it does have it's downsides, for instants it is not a great game to play alone.But for something so cheap and surpiseingly good fun it wouldn't be a bad thing to spend your money on!

Replacement. This is great value my kids have played this since they were little. They left it when away to caravan for Easter. Thankfully Amazon had it and cheaper than everywhere else. Kids happy again, even though big kids now. Great fun. Great Value. Great and quick service.

I think this game is well worth the money, it is one of the cheaper games for the wii and to be honest the graphics arent brilliant but the game play is! It is a lot of fun and you can play with family and friends either as a team or as competitors! Definatly a good buy!

I bought this game for my 5 year old son after he first played the game at a friend's house. He easily picked up what he had to do and has played it on numerous occasions since he has had it. He really enjoys the beach football and cricket games on it.

the people who agve this a one star obviously cant play the game or cant under stand got this game never stopped playing it i really do like it the sound is fine graphicks is fine so nothing wrong

Brilliant - all the family enjoy this Wii, so much so that my 2 sons and step grandson have all purchased copies. One of the best Wii for family entertainment.

You HAVE to buy this game, one of the most fun games you will ever play if you are with friends, and good on your own as well.Definitely worth the money
