I bought this eye shadow pallet for myself as i'd bought w7 products in the past (when I lived with my mum) but since relocating to a remote villiage in the north of Wales makeup is quite limited on what I can buy and from where, sadly W7 makeup products are on the list of what you can't buy around here for some reason. Initially I had had my eye on a Soap and Glory one but like most things it wasn't avaliable, needless to say I saw this pallet which has similar shades and I fell in love with it.The packaging: The item came in a fully sealed jiffy-bag (the envelopes with the bubble wrap inside) and the packaging of the eye shadow pallet its self is a nice tin, which is purple and gold.Opening up the tin the eye shadows are well protected with a plastic/acetate covering which covers the eye shadows and the double brush/applicator.The shades: There are 12 shades in total 3 of them to me look Matte and the rest have some form of shimmer to them (i'll add some swatches below) I have quite pale skin so the lighter shades don't really show up that well but for a bit of shimmer will work well. The other shades seem like they will build really well to if you wanted darker or more opaque then you can do that with these. The shadows feel very soft on the skin and don't feel like they're drying my skin out. The 12 shades are:Dusty- which on my skin is like a very pale pink which is shimmeryWonderland- which on my skin looks like a light rusty orange colour and is also a shimmer shadeSummer- which is like a taupe with brown undertones and is shimmeryAtlanta- on my skin I can hardily see it but it does have a very light brown undertone to itAbracadabra- This might be one of my (personal) favourite shades, it's a very dark purple shade almost like an Aubergine shade of purple.Top Hat- I used less of this in my swatch than Abracadabra so the shade looks lighter. This is like a charcoal grey shimmerRazzamataz- This on my skin is like a grey/blue or slate blue colour with a hint of shimmerLady Luck- this is a nice rose pink shade with shimmer, it reminds me a lot of a Rimmel blush I have it is a pretty shade.Laura E- This on my skin looks like a nice bronze/copper shade this is another of my (personal) favourites from the pallet and is a great shade for Autumn/winter.Party Pooper- This is another pale/light shade, it's a very pale pink which compared to my skin shade almost seems iridescent since you can only see the pink undertone when the light hits it,this is one of the shades which appeart to be matte as in the pallet there is no shimmer to the shade.I think this could be built up for the desired shade.Gate Crash- This is a nice shimmery dark smoke grey colourBologna- this is a matte blackOver all: Over all i'm impressed with this product as the tin is quite sturdy and is ideal for travelling, even though the name is In The Night I feel some of these shades could be worn during the day especially the lighter tones which would make this pallet a dual use one. The pallet does come with a dual ended brush and eye shadow applicator. I rarely use an eye shadow applicator if i'm being honest and the brush seems it would fit better for finer details or for under the eye for smoking out the lower lash line or upper if you didn't fancy wearing eyeliner, it is a small brush and is slightly angled. Its also stiff but has smooth bristles. Over all i'm really happy I bought this =]**Side Note, the photo's which i've attacked i did use flash on so my phone would pick the shades up. Also the shadows are easy to get off with either eye shadow remover, soap and water or cleanser =] i've just managed to get mine off with a bit of body butter on a tissue (wouldn't recommend this if you're wearing it on your eyes) **

I love this palette so much! I've always wanted Naked by Urban Decay, but after hearing that this is an exact dupe, I decided to check it out, and I'm so glad I did! I was very sceptical after seeing how cheap it was, but I bought it after reading the reviews on this palette. The colours are very pigmented and glide right onto your eyelid (a bit easier with primer, but every eyeshadow is like that). When I saw the tin it was in I thought it looked very professional, and the plastic foam inside of it is very durable and tough. The brush is very soft and good for applying the eyeshadows, but I do prefer to use my own brush for blending them. The only downside about this product is that it doesn't have a mirror inside, but I never use the mirrors given anyway, so this isn't an issue for me.I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend £40 on a big brand name. I see this product as if God himself pooped out identical colours and pigmentations onto 2 palettes, then Urban Decay took one palette, called it Naked, and W7 took the other one, and called it In The Buff Lightly Toasted. And of course because Urban Decay is an expensive brand, they sold theirs for £40, and W7 for £4. They're both pretty much incredible but people prefer the good name to the cheap good product.I hope this has changed your mind about buying Naked. If you still think Naked is better then fine, go spend £40 of your money on a palette with the same qualities as a £4.

This is an amazing eyeshadow palette! I can't believe how many great shades I got for such a low price. This palette showed up on many beauty blogger channels as a dupe for the Urban Decay nude palette, I just had to buy it and give it a try and I'm pleased I did. This is very identical to the UD2 naked palette, same shades but I have to say that the shadows are not as highly pigmented as the UD ones but for this price I wouldn't even consider this as a negative thing. I mean, the original UD naked 2 costs £38, the w7 in the buff costs only £4!!!! unbelievable. The packaging of this palette is very nice as it protects the eyeshadows very well.Did not expect this much material quality for this price. The contents consists of 12 eyeshadows named as followed:Buff, Camel, Sand, Dust, Chocolate, Topaz, Earth, Storm, Silk, Wave, Thunder and Onyx. There are 3 mattes, some light and some high shimmers. They all look fabulous when applied. Good for everyday use.I highly recommend this palette. Definitely a very good dupe for urban decay palettes, for anyone who doesn't want to spend that much on eyeshadows but still wants very similar and quality colours. I've now ordered the w7 in the nude palette as well to add to my eyeshadow collection.Palette comes with brush as shown in my pictures. This wonderful beauty blogger has compared all three UD palettes with the 3 from w7 including swatches:http://makeupbysiham.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/urban-decay-naked-palette-12-3-dupes-ft.html

I am really happy with this product. I have bought it for a friend so I haven't tested the colours or pigmentation so therefore I can say I love it. But it arrived in very good condition not a scratch to be seen. The colours are beautiful and I'm sure my friend will love it. I am very happy with this purchase. At first when I ordered it I was worried about it not being real seeing as if you buy this palette from the company it retails at £10. But I am very happy to say that it is genuine and brand new. It also comes with a brush. My only problem is that it has a little sticker (as most make-up products do) over the bit where you open and close the pallet, left a sticky mark on the pallet. Now this would be okay if I was keeping it but seeing as I am giving it away it does make it look a bit used. The postage was very fast it came before the due date. I ordered it either on Sunday or Monday and I just got it now on Thursday. Another this is that in the picture the packaging looks rose gold-ish but it happens to be a cream colour. I am very happy with this purchase and I shall soon be ordering more. This picture is comparing the Urban Decay Naked 3 pallet to this one. THis is not my picture. Let me know if this review was helpful. :)

Oh my god I would recommend this to EVERYONE. For the price I was quite cynical but after reading A LOT of other positive reviews I decided to buy it. I had the Urban Decay Naked2 palette and got it as a gift. Many of my favourite colours had run out so instead of forking out £38 quid (are you joking? on eyeshadow?) I decided to shop around and find a good quality dupe. This. Is. Incredible. The colours are almost exactly the same as the Naked2 palette and are of the same quality. The pigments of the shadows are so so so amazing, every single one comes out beautifully on your eyelid with or without a primer. Of a good size and depth, I use it almost everyday (the only time I don't is when I don't put any make up on!)The only faults I could find are that the palette is too large to fit in my make up bag (an excuse to get a larger one!) and there is no mirror on the inside - but that isn't a problem as you can use a handheld. All in all, in comparison to the Naked2 palette, it is on the exact same level as Urban Decay BUT AT LESS THAN £5! The little brush which comes with it is so so so soft, I use it on the inside corner of my eye to highlight.

I have been looking for a dupe of the naked palette by Urban Decay, which is around £38, when I stumbled upon this, the W7 eye colour palette, in the buff , which looks extremely similar to the naked palette, but is much, much cheaper. After reading the reviews I decided to place an order, and boy am I glad I did so. I only received it today, and was excited to try it out. I decided to create a smokey eye using the darker shades in the palette. Don't bother with the brush it comes with, as I found this to be no use what so ever! Instead I used my own set of brushes, and even applied them using my fingers, and both produced a great effect. (I always use an eye primer first as a base for the shadows, this gives a truer colour) The colours are very pigmented and true to colour. I also found that they blended very well too. The range of colours are excellent, enabling the user to create a daytime look, or go darker for a sultry evening look. My advice is too just experiment with them and have fun! So to conclude my review, I would say give this palette a go. You won't be disappointed!

The palette box/tin is quite big (20.5x7x2cm), looks sturdy and more expensive than it is. There is no mirror inside the lid :-(However, the applicator/brush that comes with the palette is great (14.5cm long). The eye shadow’s applicator is made out of soft foam and the brush has nice, soft bristles. It is well made two-way product in perfect size for the eyes. The palette has good selection of natural colours suitable for day-to-day use as well as for special occasions make-up. There are 12 shadows: 9 shimmery (camel, sand, dust, topaz, earth, storm, silk, wave & thunder) and 3 mat (buff, chocolate & onyx). The quality of eye shadows is brilliant, colours are bold and well pigmented, its silky consistency make them easy to apply, no problem to create a great smokey eye effect, the colours blend very well and stay on well thoughout the day.I received the palette before estimated delivery date and was packed well without any damage to the tin and eye-shadows.I would recommend the product to anyone wanted an affordable good quality neutral palette.

For a £4.20 (what I paid) eye shadow palette, the value is pretty astounding. I would not say it could act as a dupe for the Naked palettes - whilst the colours are similar at first glance, the pigment and the quality simply do not stand up. It takes a lot of building up to achieve strong colour, and there is also quite a bit of fallout when applying; don't buy this expected great quality eye shadow that blends well. In particular, the paler colours are not very pigmented, and blending colours tends to result in a sort-of muddy mess, which I think I can attribute to the quality of the eye shadow rather than my poor blending skills. That said, for someone who does not use eye shadow much and typically only uses one shade at a time, this is more than enough for my purposes. The colour range is wide enough to experiment with, and I like some of the shades enough that £4.20 is very cheap. I would recommend this to a beginner to make-up who wants to experiment with different colours, but not to someone who already has similar eye shadow palettes.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to Urban Decay's Naked palette. The colours are almost the exact same, and last equally as long. The palette consists of a combination of both matte and shimmery shades but both types apply beautifully and stay put for hours, without creasing, even on my oily eyelids. My eyeshadow usually creases within 3 hours, but these do not. The shades are gorgeously pigmented, and w7 have even taken the time to name them, which gives this very inexpensive product an even more high-quality feel. There is minimal fallout when applying the eyeshadow, even from the black shade. The only downside to this palette is the brush, which didn't last very long, but for 4 pounds, this seems to be an incredibly insignificant shortcoming. I ordered this product on a Monday afternoon and by Tuesday lunchtime it was here. Overall this is probably the best value product I have bought from Amazon and I will definitely be repurchasing this palette once it runs out.

I initially bought this as a gift for a friend who I thought would suit the tones...until I found something better and it was too late to return the palette. So I gave it a go myself, and I absolutely love it! I've never been one for blending eyeshadows...until now! Beforehand I only ever wore straight eyeliner but now I do my signature cat eyes over bronzy toned eyeshadow. Creating looks is so easy, and costs the same as a £40 urban decay palette...with the same effect! I tend to use primer beneath but it's not completely necessary most of the time. The tones are gorgeous, particularly the bronze and gold tones, and I use the pale silvery pink as a base. The brush is perfect and can be used for blending the tones as well.I'm a massive fan of this palette and even if you're not usually one for eyeshadow, this is the perfect palette to start with, without breaking the bank. Highly recommend, and have received plenty of compliments with this.

Another winner from W7 here! The metal casing makes this product look and feel a lot more premium than the cost. But it's the eyeshadows and variety of colours that make it all the more worth it. This can create so many natural looks as well as some dramatic ones thanks to the vivid golds and dark chocolate browns/black. Strongly pigmented and It's a perfect palette for near enough all seasons, there's just so much potential! I recommend using some eyeshadow brushes you're comfortable using rather than the one provided, it's very soft and doesn't pick up the product well. That being said it'd be great for applying concealer! I personally don't splurge on expensive make up,but even if you did this would be a great product to buy as a back up without sacrificing on quality if you wanted to take away with you and worried about misplacing your £30-£40 pound palette! I could go on forever. It's just a great buy!

I'll start off with the supplier I mistakenly got this product sent to an old address mine/Amazon's mistake not the suppliers they were kind enough to replace the item FREE of charge! Excellent customer serviceNow the pallet itself the packaging I loveas all the other w7 pallets the colours are shimmery with two matteThe colours vary from light to dark they start a shimmery pink to a matter black there buildable colours the light ones are not as pigmented as the dark and you do have to put alot of work in with the light colours I do like the way you can create different looks with this palette which I personally like to doThe only reason I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is because I wasexpecting the same quality as the w7 in the buff palette which is my favourite I do think that for the price it's still excellent value for money just not as good as in the buff.

I bought this four days ago, even if I live in Italy, the item came quickly but the package wasn't really well made. (that's the only negative part of this item)This said, the palette is very cute, elegant and for the paid price is more than what I thought it would be! I love the dark shades which are very pigmented. I'm impressed with the quality of the brush, it's good and a lot more "professional" from other palettes I own. (which I paid more than this obviously)I recommend this palette for:-cheap but cool presents for friends;-to all of you who is searching for a brown shades palette. Also, for those of you who really don't know which shade of brown/nude is good on you this is a very good match quality/price for some practice.I don't regret the money,I enjoy this product a lot! Also, the product looks very good!

Of course we all want the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette but not all of us can afford to spend around £40 for it, me included. I haven't tried the UD palette so can't say how this compares but this in it's own right is a brilliant palette. The colours are highly pigmented especially the black one as I found out to my horror at 6.30am this morning whilst trying it for the first time. The colours blend together beautifully and are lovely and silky to apply. Although the applicator supplied isn't too bad I probably won't use it as I prefer my Real Techniques brushes. My only negative is that there are 9 shimmery shades and 3 matte shades all of which I will use but as I'm in my fifties I would havepreferred more matte shades.I'm going to order another one of these before word gets around and they become unavailable.

This is a fantastic dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette .... all the eyeshadows have great pigmentation and I would definatley recommend this if you do not want to spend almost £40 on the UD palette. It is brilliant value for money and was delivered within 2 days of my ordering. All of the shades are shimmer, very beautiful, except for three..if you look at the photo, the matte ones are the first, the fifth and the last shades and for matte shadows they blend really well. In fact the brown matte is one of my favourites and when doing a Smokey eye I use this as my transition shade. Just one wee thing to be aware of ...this palette is cheaper to buy on the high street..I have noticed that since it has become popular due to its similarity to the high end one its begining to creep up in price here on Amazon.
