I had one of these a few years ago, and I left it somewhere. Its a very sturdy construction. The shape of the umbrella means it is very difficult to turn inside out. My only complaint is that the handle is very thin and not terribly comfortable to hold for long periods of time. It gets lots of compliments and makes my gothic heart happy.

I used this as a fancy dress prop for New Year's Eve. It lasted all of our shananigans and came home in one piece. We spent the entire evening opening and closing this umbrella to pose for photos and it still works. It looks brilliant and is water proof, too.

Really love this umbrella, bought it for sunny weather. It's beautiful, original looking and sturdy enough. You can easily fit two people underneath.
