I've deliberately waited a few months before reviewing this product so that I could really get a feel for the item and I must admit, to begin with, I was slightly disappointed with the effectiveness of it but actually I can only really put that down to my skin type - I have extremely combination skin (tends to get really quite shiny during the day but also easily gets dry in places).Over the last few weeks, I've discovered that building it up on my skin is the way to go - so after cleansing, I put a thin layer of the powder on my skin. I then moisturise/use serums etc before applying another thin layer of powder on the skin. From then onwards,

In terms of what a good finishing powder should achieve, this is by far the best I have used - a lovely, silky, light product which leaves my skin looking flawless (as much as is possible for a middle-aged woman!). It is a matte finish which is good. No-one wants to look shiny all over after all, but I want some parts highlighting, like the top of the cheekbones, so I find adding my favourite slightly shimmery cream after the Vichy powder ,works well. I agree with another reviewer regarding the fact that this powder does lighten your base foundation somewhat, so I suggest using it sparingly. 'Baking' really is OTT and not necessary; a gentle sweep with a good blusher brush suffices.

this will never go out of stock from my makeup bag,its setting so nice soft doesnt cake no yellowish undertones ,only thing i must warn about is this....if you are looking to buy vichy dermablend from amazon be very careful not to get by mistake the l'oreal dermablend powder (like i did)witch look exactlly the same not so nice from l'oreal to copy this powder but be careful to get the powder that says VYCHY in the front

This fixing powder is amazing and would keep your make up perfect all day love this product and use all of the time although it is hard to get hold of some of the time as stock runs out quick due to this product being at demand all the time

I really love this powder. You simply dust it liberally over your foundation, leave for two minutes, then dust off the excess. It makes your foundation stay in place for twice as long as it would otherwise do. It is designed to be used over

Having such an oily tzone I've struggled to find a good setting powderAfter recommendation from my friend I'm delighted to have found this. Pricier than I normally would go but definitely worth it as my skin is matt all say long.

I must have 10 powders or more n could not find one that held my make up in place all day ..this powder is the best ever ill definately be sticking to this and repurchasing as it blew all the others out of the water

This is the most amazing powder ever!! My skin tend to get oily round T section and after trying out so many different brands I’ve decided to spend a little extra and it’s worth every penny.

I was a bit weary of dabbing a white powder on my face after I'd applied my makeup but it blends in amazingly and makes makeup appear flawless and more natural. I love this product.

This product really does set your makeup but in a very natural looking way, you definitely need to use it sparingly but honestly this is by far the best setting powder I've used.

Vichy is only brand i use and would not change for anything... i sweat a lot due my condition and this just help me to keep my make up on lol ... perfect for day wearing x
