I bought this product in desperation in the hope that I might use it as a concealer to cover acne and dark marks from recent breakouts, and didn't actually have very high hopes for it.However, it's totally exceeded my expectations and I now regularly use it either as a concealer in conjunction with a tinted moisturiser, or as a full foundation. It performs amazingly well at both tasks and outranks all the more expensive products I've tried.The thing to remember about this product is that it's very buildable, so start with a little and then layer it where you need it more. It is a relatively heavy foundation so use a small amount first, blend it carefully, and then pat on a little more where you need more coverage.I use either fingers or a brush to apply all over and then a smaller concealer brush to build it up over specific areas that need more attention.It lasts pretty well even on my relatively oily skin and if you use a light dusting of Dermablend setting powder over the top, you'll get more mileage from it.I was sceptical about the narrow range of colours as I am super-pale and I was convinced the lightest shade would still be too dark for me, but strangely enough it's actually a very good match for me, even though it looks quite dark before it's applied.The formula is pleasant to use and if applied carefully, this foundation doesn't look or feel cakey and heavy. If your skin's on the dry side I'd recommend using this in conjunction with a really good hydrating moisturiser and/or primer as this is quite a matte formula rather than one that gives a moisturising dewy finish.This is absolutely the only product that seems to give me the coverage I need without looking thick and ageing, and it's truly amazing that it does all this for £15 - most foundations that perform this well are double that price. I'm assuming they've cut costs by going with the basic tube packaging rather than a smart glass pump bottle.This foundation stays put pretty much all day on me. I apply it at about 7am and it's usually still looking even and smooth by late afternoon. And if I do need to touch it up, it's very easy to do so just by patting a little more over the areas that need it; it's a two-second job because it's such a buildable formula.

I bought this back in May and only now ordering a replacement (and there's still some left in the original but it's hard to squeeze the product out of the tube once it gets towards the end - one of the very few negatives to report). I'd always used MAC Studio Fix for buildable full coverage but was seeking something designed specifically to disguise/correct my uneven skin tones. I've Asian heritage so always have problems matching foundation shades & therefore always try and test new products in person before committing to an expensive mistake. Vichy Dermablend has a great reputation but is not stocked in any shops near me.I took a gamble ordering from Amazon without knowing for sure which was my shade match - but at a discounted price of under £7 felt I had nothing to lose! Luckily 65 Coffee was the right choice. It's a little reddish for my skin but you only need a pea sized amount for the whole face - plus it's easy to balance out the colour with correcting drops and my loose powder. I have unsightly dark patches above my upper lip and on my jawline but this foundation does an amazing job covering up compared to my MAC studio fix. It's long lasting and required minimal touching up on hot summer days. I'm so impressed!

My confidence started to take a real nosedive after developing melasma when pregnant. I had hoped that it would disappear once I had the baby but over 6 years on and it is still there. I have it on each cheek all the way up past my eyes on the side of my face. As a result I have always spent so long in the morning doing my makeup, although I never fully managed to cover the dark patches (despite really caking it on - which loooked possibly worse than the melasma itself). The little coverage that I had never lasted all day anyway. I would find myself having to reapply in the evening if i was doing anything.And then I saw a review for Dermablend.I must say that changing from the foundation that I had been relying on for years filled my with dread. But after practicing the night before I ws going to wear it to work I was converted! Just a little bit blended well gives fantastic cover. To be honest I have not even thought about my melasma! And it lasts all day!! It has really restored my confidence - so much so that I am no longer so ashamed of my dark patches. I never used to let anybody see them - now I am not bothered as I know that I can cover them up well if I wish. Yes, it is expensive but absolutely worth it to me!

This foundation is the best I have ever used and I have been through many and many and many!!!!!I have everything, big pores, acne, dark under eye circles, scars. It was seriously upsetting me to the point where I didn't want to leave the house.Then this insane miracle presented itself.I first apply my primer which is Nivea express hydration primer -another make-up miracle!-, leave to set for about 2 minutes and then put this bad boy on top. IT'S INSANE! :)I am SO glad I brought this, I did so much research and I wouldn't ever go back to anything else. I was so depressed about how I looked before this foundation. Love it, love it.I use natural collection's nude powder to set and it lasts me all day with no problems,no shiny or greasy areas whatsoever.I have -no idea- what the bad reviews are about.Absolutely worth while. :) Now buying my next lot. (It lasts me 3 months by the way and I wear make up 3/4 times a week).Enjoy it, it's fantastic.

For many years I’ve used Estée Lauder Doublewear foundation which I’ve always been very happy with. My working day is 14.5hrs & I need a foundation that lasts & although I have good skin, no blemishes or problems like that, I like a foundation that gives full coverage.The Vichy Dermablend caught my eye after browsing the net & seeing very positive feedback......so I decided to try it.Wow! I’m really impressed with this product, it’s fabulous! It goes on easily just using fingertips, a little goes a long way & it blends effortlessly. The result is a flawless, polished look with a very slight sheen. I’ve a normal-dry skin & am finding that the foundation lasts the whole of the 14.5hr working day,plus longer. I use a foaming cleanser to remove it at night.I bought the “Sand” which is the nearest equivalent shade to the Estée Lauder “Shell Beige” that I have always used.

I use Vichy Dermablend everyday, I have eczema on my face so it can be very hard to find a foundation that one doesn't infect my skin whilst it is flared up, and two have a good coverage to hide the blemishes. I use this product on my hands too so that I can hide my eczema. The only flaw I can find with this product is perhaps that I can never find the other colours in stores, only this OPAL colour which is not suited to everyone's skin tone. I have very light to fair skin so it works for me luckily. I have found that mine feels a little cakey at the moment, but it may be that the product is out of date I have owned it for a long time now,and haven't bothered with the expiration date so I just dot it under my eyes first thing in the morning and around the chin,cheek and nose areas.

Finally found a foundation that makes my skin look good. It glides on and is not cakey like alot of full coverage products are. I have bad hyperpigmentation on my face and have tried all sorts of top brands and camouflage foundations, and I have to say that this is the best, I do need to use the dermablend corrector stick too but that's not cos the coverage isn't good just that my skin is so bad. But with this foundation I now feel much more confident when I go out, which I tried to avoid doing before buying this product. I wouldn't want to be without any again! Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to cover skin problems yet still want lovely soft fresh looking skin.

I bought this because I have stretch marks which I wanted to cover up. I also had mild tan lines; where the stretch marks were was pale as I never revealed that area, and just above them was slightly tanned. I bought the opal and, although it was darker than what I expected and darker than the patch of skin I was covering, I blended it in and it looked really natural. It made my tan line completely disappear and almost completely covered my stretch marks! My skin looked pretty good. I am so glad I found this product as it worked really well for me and it meant that I could go out confidently. However what I would say is wash your hands well before touching your clothes!

Have been buying this for a while now and i am a fan. Good delivery, had no problems. Gives very god coverage even when used very sparingly, lasts a long time. Can appear a little chalky and stick to dry skin but i find if i moisturise first and apply a thinner foundation on top it gives a lovely effect. I use mainly for under eye circles and it works nicely but have in recent weeks started to get some skin irritation that means ill only use it when on a night out (not sure if an ingredient has changed as was fine until recently) however would not ark down based on this as im allergic to pretty much everything!

As a Make-up junkie I have used almost every foundation out there as some point and there is no contest when it comes to full coverage. I woudln't advise using this if you like a very sheer or dewy look to your foundation, this is for full coverage for those with problematic skin.The only comparison is Kat Von D's lock it tattoo foundation but its vastly overpriced compared to vichy. Remember with this a little goes a long way as its highly pigmented don't slap loads on your face or you will end up looking cakey. I recommend blending this with Real Techniques stippling brush - flawless

I have an embarrassing facial hair problem, so I switched to this hoping it would help cover up the marks from electrolysis. As it turns out, along with a concealer, it even covers up the hair while it's growing out (which has to be done a few days before a session to remove them), and I can't exaggerate how much of a relief that is.I would recommend it to anyone with an unfortunate case of PCOS, being AMAB or who otherwise needs to get themselves through electrolysis or laser treatment on their face. As well as anyone who just wants a full coverage foundation.

Before buying this, I read countless reviews which all said that it was an amazing foundation, etc. It is a good foundation and lasts all day. However, I have suffered from mild acne throughout the years and have a lot of freckles which I like to cover. I found myself having to use another foundation on top of this one before my freckles were hidden (they are only light coloured freckles). It covered my acne but my scars can still be seen. Overall, it is still a good foundation which I will probably buy again if only for its lasting power.

Always use this foundation covers scars hyperpigmentation acne scars I was also told it is very popular with men too as the coverage is second to non I find it sits better on my skin (mixed race/oily to combination skin/acne/scars pigmentation) lasts a long time aswell no problems in the rain long wearing even when sweating excessively covers everything I use it with Vichy dermablend white setting powder and everyone comments on the difference. Wonderful line of cosmetics usually around £20 in boots

Has good coverage, while feeling light on the skin.With my skin it has a tendency to look 'pasted on' after hours of wear, due to sweating. Not everybody will experience this. But it doesn't become sticky, clogged or flaky.Best part is SPF...as I've been using this product for over 10 years my facial skin has been protected from UV damage every day and you can tell the difference. My skin looks younger when compared to others of the same age. And that's with a poor diet and stressful lifestyle!

Love this foundation. Have just been diagnosed with Melsama which is a hyper pigmentation which believe me takes some covering and plenty of layers.I applied this with a damp make up sponge and WOW covered everything and looks so natural. I have been wearing it for over 4 hours now and still cant see any patches showing through.Wish I had found this earlier as I have spent £100's on expensive foundations and although this isn't the cheapest I would pay double for itHighly recommended Love it
