When I opened the box the jacket was higher quality that I expected, very nice workmanship and it looks durable. But there was less loft than I expected, the jacket is a bit puffed-up in the stock photo. This is not an expedition-thickness down for -20 degrees F. It's more of an ultra-light, compact midlayer. It's still nice & warm under a shell, it packs down very small for carrying as an extra layer or "emergency insurance" in your pack. The down panels are cleverly designed to spread the down in a uniform layer - an improvement over the typical scalloped style puffies. Nice smooth zipper action and 100% PFAS-free according to Vaude.A couple of weird fit issues - the sleeves have good length,

Nice jacket. I bought for my son. Size XL (187cm, 80kg). The dimensions fit well. Beautiful color, light, warm.
