Thin material nice and light, good strong colour. Clearly aimed at the Cycling market based on arm slot heights. I bought mine as an extra coverall outer layer for tackling Irish Mountains on night Hikes in Winter. The idea being it will give an extra layer of windbreak, and divert some of the heavier rainflow away over the top of both my Rucksak and Body all in one.I dont expect it to be perfect but it just seems an ideal way to keep the bulk of the weather out of the backpack and relieve the pressure on my GoreTex Coat, which has been known to fail on long hikes with non-stop heavy rain.If it lets me down I'll be sure to update the review.

Only got to use it once since I got it and I found it to be very effective and it is a very well thought out poncho especially the inner belt and the 2 holding straps for the handlebars if it is very windy, I also like the way it tucks easily into it's own pocket and a nice elasticated belt which fits nicely around my waist as I use this as an emergency raincover if it rains while I'm out walking, I now don't worry so much about being caught in the rain as I bring it with me most days, It seems to be of good quality as much as I can tell and I recommend it to anyone looking to buy an emergency easy to use rain cover.

I bought this to keep my rucksack/ computer dry when cycling to work on wet days .Used it yesterday with huge success. It doesn’t cover my legs but that was fine as I don’t like to much flapping around. It was easy to wear And high vis. The elastic belt round the middle meant it kept a snug fit under my ruck sackPulled the electric round the hood so it stayed in placeI was very impressed with it

Bought this poncho for cruising on our narrowboat, which it is perfect for as it allows free arm movement and easy access to a windlass when secured to a belt. The panels on either side of the hood are clear, which is excellent for all round visibility when steering. An excellent product.

I already have one of these Vaude ponchos and I can thoroughly recommend it. It's the best bit of rain kit you'll ever invest in. Far better than expensive so called 'breathable' jackets and over trousers.It packs down into a zippable pouch for ease of carrying. Very convenient.

Use to cycle to work most days as the UK weather is unpredictable if not it stores down small lots of little features like the visor hood keeps me dry I wasn't sure how it looks but in Europe there every where so good enough for I would highly recommend ?

This rain poncho works great for biking. You can fit a backpack under it. You have to wear it under your helmet. I love the neon yellow color for visibility in the rain. The see through side panels allow for better peripheral vision.

Use it for walking to keep me and rucksack dry. May look a little strange but why worry when you stay dry. Great for packing as light weight I would have liked it to be a little longer but then its designed for cycling not walkers.

I walked in this poncho for two days in rainy Cuzco and found it very practical and comfortable - easy to put on and take off, well fitting at the top and allowing free movement for the arms. And it looks good on the pictures.

I still have to test this poncho in stronger rain...So far I'm happy:It's light and thin/flexible & easily packed in it's own (chest)pocket; comfy fit.
