Brilliant! I phoned them before hand to check that I had the right product for my VW Golf GT 2012 plate. The company was more than helpful and talked me throuogh what I needed to do to install when it arrived, not that it needs talking through as it was so straight forward! I was going to buy the VW version when buying the car at £256 plus fitting, this was much cheaper for equivelant quality and sturdiness. It took me 5 minutes (literally) to put it together and 15 minutes to install in the dark...and I'm not technical at all! Since I bought this, it has been put through its paces with my 2 dogs and I love the strength and sturdiness and tight fit, it doesn't move. Personally,

There are cheaper dog guards out there, and as usual anything that is designed for a Golf has a price tag that is a bit higher, but I feel it is worth it. It is a sturdy guard, it was easy to put in place and you can replace the parcel shelf without having to take the guard down, obviously I wouldn't have the parcel shelf in if the dog is travelling in the car, bit it means that the guard does not have to be either a) taken out when dog is no in there or b)You can replace the parcel shelf to conceal anything in your boot when the dog isn't travelling c) You don't have to find somewhere t store your parcel shelf.Initially I purchased a 'one size fits all' guard from Halfords - an adjustable one.

This guard, specially tailored for the golf mk6, is well worth the money in my opinion. It is made of goodquality materials, with a clever fitting arrangement. After a few minutes studying the assembly instructionsthe process was quite straight forward.Once fitted it is very secure and should give years of service.

When VW charge over £260 for a dog guard one is compelled to look at alternatives. Unlike many on the market this is a quality product delivered faster than first class mail. It is almost idiot-proof to install. It is a lot to pay for a guard but most importantly the dog is happy with it.

This is a good quality product which is a perfect fit for my car. However I could not follow the instructions for assembly which were in picture form only and really needed more written guidance. I had to ask others for assistance. Great quality though and worth the money.

Brilliant dog guard. Sturdy and doesn't rattle.Instructions could be a little clearer but invested time in looking long and hard at the graphics and cracked it.Recommended.

Easy to install on my mk6 Golf. Seems very robust and well-made, unobtrusive in appearance. Would have no hesitation in recommending the product and seller.

It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble. Hopefully we will never need it but I feel that my dog is now safe in the back of my car

This guard is great value for the price as it's smart to look at . The guard is also very easy to fit ,its fit in 2 minutes.
