When I opened the package, I was impressed with the quality of the parts provided. The coating is a thick and uniform enamel, and the support arms key into the barrier. They are held in place by bolts with plastic knob heads. This allows the support arms to be attached to the barrier for installation into the vehicle. The problem I had is that the captive nuts that engage these bolts appear to have a somewhat conical thread, and I had trouble getting enough engagement to keep everything together while installing. I speculate (I am a degreed mechanical engineer) that the nuts have a conical thread to keep from applying too much stress to the bolts once everything is tightened down. Still,

The guard fits beautifully in my 2016 Mazda CX-5. I struggled a bit with the directions, but well, I’m not entirely sure that is Travall’s issue :) Customer service is QUICK to respond. I thought I was missing a part, and they were quickly sending a replacement. That was before I found the piece in my dog’s bed. We took a short test drive, and though Max prefers the front seat, he adjusted nicely. The guard kept him safely in his space :) Would definitely recommend!

This bit of kit is amazing. I admit it's not the cheapest but it's so sturdy, it's like its part of the car. Extremely well made and fits like a glove. We also bought the divider so we can keep the dog one side and the pram and baby kit the other away from muddy paws. Hats off to Travall, refreshing to see something so well made for a change rather than cheap universal tat.

I have 2016 Mazda CX-5 and it fits in the car perfectly. Does not rattle and easy to install. I have two large dogs and they haven't attempted to knock it down but I don't think they could if they tried. This is a more expensive product than what you will see on the market but it is durable and will last a lifetime so it is definitely worth it.

I am SO pleased with this product! Fits the Mazda CX5 2016.5 exaclty.Intstallation was relatively easy. Once the packaging was opened, NO TOOLS were required for the install.The unit sits very securely given the touch points. There is no rattling and no need for foam buffers/silencing material.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Used it for a long trip with two cats in the back. One of them is thin and was able to sneak around the side close to the top. Shoved a blanket in that (very small) opening and it worked great for the rest of the trip.Fits our 2015 CX-5 perfectly.

This barrier looks great and unfortunately for my dogs keeps them right where I want them, in the trunk on my all weather mat! Do the rest of your car a favor and invest in this barrier if you have dogs that like to get dirty.

Fits perfectly in my car and keeps my dog safe in the back. Easy to install and take out if needed. Simple and intuitive. If I get another new car in the future I will definitely buy from TravAll again.

Fits securely and doesn't make a sound while driving. Should be simple to install, however the instructions could be improved upon. I eventually got it after some trial and error.

Arrived quickly, even though from UK. Instructions for assembly were terrible- the worst I've seen for any product. Once installed, fits well-I'm very happy with it.

As some people have mentioned, the instructions for installing this thing are horrible. Nevertheless, it's fairly intuitive and once you get it installed it's great!

Very happy with the product, however wondering if there is any interference with the side or curtain air bags. I posted a question and it has remained unanswered.

This is really well made and 100% would recommend it. It's worth the extra money. Wish they had more detailed instructions for install but we figured it out!

Works great on my 2015! The only problem is that the dog started chewing up the back of the seat because they were bored and couldn't get over the seat.

Really, really well designed. Have used this while driving over extremely bumpy and wash-boarded dirt roads and it stayed put.
