My 8 year old son who is the opposite of aggressive / violent, loves fighting games, playing with swords / nerf guns. So I was looking for something he could play on his Playstation that didn't involve the blood, gore and violence of the age 16 and 18 rated games, but had the excitement. This is THE game. It's a first person shooter that's high on excitement without the gore. It's not at all simplistic though its hard enough to maintain interest and provide a challenge.

love this game. simple pick up and play had trouble runnung 64bit version but 32bit runs smooth as butter. love the way the rooms change every time you die and have to start again. run and gun mechanics so camping doesn't really work so you have to work at it. still haven't beaten the first boss yet but i will. no DRM either on the dvd so you can install on any pc you like which is nice. don't always wanna run steam on my lower end pc.

Bought this as a present for my son, he has said that the game play is brilliant.Personally I can only do the old platform games like Sonic and Mario, but this was easy to master not like the RPG shooting games(I just can't do).I would recommend this to anyone who likes the RPG games but keep getting killed(that's me) especially by their son.

Old school first person shooter. Tower of guns is exactly what it is. Move from room to room within a tower destroying guns. Actually better than it sounds. Every time you play it randomly generates different rooms as you progress, so the challenge always varies. Just a great pick up and play game.

part puzzle part gun and run this game has a style all of its own and plays very well because of it

Excellent game, very glad I picked it up as a Steel Book Edition. Well worth it!
