The TH series is in its tenth year now, and this si the ninth installment. American Wasteland, brought in the revoluntionary "no loading" of an open ended world to skat in. In P8 Activision and NS re-built the game from the ground up, and it was a slight dissapointment. Then skate. arrived on the scene withs its flick-it controls, and became top dog. Although many people say skate is better, there realy isnt that much difference between these two games. PG has most of the features skate does, if not more. Skate and PG, both, beleive it or not, share the paralell goal challenges, and what i mean by that is, in PG u can be a career skater, hardcore, or riger, and in skate. u can get coverage from thrasher (hardcore)and the skateboard mag (career). PG's nail the trick is pretty mcuh flickit, but simpler, and more creative. The idea of boh games is to get sponsors. They both have open ended worlds, they both share the smae graphics quality. They are both good games.now about PGProsFunEasy to pick-up-and-playcontrols are the same as alwayscustomisation is ok, big bands, textures are awesomeother things i cba to mentionconscontrols are the same-still the Th trademark button mashing, and unrealistic airs and grinds and combosnot much change-except in "story" modeoverall...skate. and THPG are both good games, and i own both, skate is probably okay for a bit, but if, like me, you cant use the flickit very wel, and it is hard to get used to, then get PGi think we can say, we have to wiat for Tony Hawks 10 (and there is going to be a 10th one) and skate. 2 (and there is going to be thataswell!!)

Although the new instalment of tony hawk's skateboarding has been well recieved on both xbox and playstation 3, this is as far as the praise goes. unfortunately due what i consider poor decisions made by neversoft and activision, the wii version was made using the same model as that of the playstation 2. this meant that rather than being designed compleltely by neversoft, a second party were used (studio 40, or something like that). This meant that not only does the wii version not have the video editor, but in general corners have been cut throughout the game. The game does not consist of one big level , as is featured in the ps3 and xbox 360, instead smaller levels are unlocked as you go along.initially i thought this a good idea as i thought it would result in better graphics. however the graphics on the wii version are short of appauling, worse than titles on the gamecube, except that is, on the characters themselves, which look ok.what makes this game such a letdown is the controlls, although easy enough to grasp, the motion system is not used to its best capabilities, with several moves requiring much the same action which leads to a great deal of frustration.having said all this i, as an avid tony hawk's skateboarding games fan did quite enjoy the game, but i stuggle to see other people doing so. wii owners have been cheated out of the last tony hawk's title, and now we have a half rushed second gen version, its high time we got a decent skateboarding game such as the xbox 360's skate. realistic and smooth, not fast and rushed.

The product was what i wanted and it was for a really cheap price.I've played before but wanted to add the game to my Tony Hawk collection once again. Would recommend this game to any one who enjoys playing the Tony Hawk series. Obviously not the best in the series but its easy to look past the flaws if you enjoy the series with the fun arcade feel over the realist feel of skate.

I believe that this will probably be the last decent Tony Hawks game with Ride getting terrible reviews left right and centre. Although the franchise is still shows signs of exhaustion in this release, it is nonetheless a fun game which offers more of the Tony Hawk game we have grown up with.

The game is good but it gets a bit booring because you only have 3 places you can go and you have to get cheats to get sceakret skaters.
