First: my Board works. There is a separate Folder which describes how to start with the board (buttons on board for five seconds, usb, THEN start ps3 and so on...)Second: sorry for my language - this is what you learn in german schools... ;o)For me and my wife (both NO real-life-Skaters or Snowboarders) this is something new, something different - and here is the fun...I think I can better review this after more than two or three hours of playing, but these hours where really funny - and a few "crashes" later we laughed more than you probably should with this game... :o)So: more in the next weeks - I wanted to review it to get from this one-star-rank...it really deserves more..!

i was a little put off about most of the reviews on here were complaining about the calibration of the game. after tony hawks ' something went wrong ' annoyed me for the 324829 time i ended up searching on youtube for ways for it to calibirate, putting it upside down, turning it on its side, turning the lights off and changing the angles of the ps3. in the end i ended up putting the ps3 on the floor so it was level with the sensor which worked in 1 try. i advise doing this, as you can then put the ps3 back to where it was and the calibration would be the same. overall it is a good game, really enjoyable its just the setting up which will get on everyones nerves.

Tony hawks shred is a fantastic game, it is pretty realistic but if you have your console in a very small room or a room that has loads of stuff in it, then this is hard to play. I have my ps3 console in the living room and its not the biggest off rooms, and where you've got 4 sensors on the skateboard, if one of the sensors is close to the sofa like mike it picks it up and does something that you didn't even tell it to do, so make sure you have plenty of room to play it and move it around. Also I have this on laminate flooring and it does leave a mark every now and then, but does wash off.

CALIBRATION SOLUTION!!!Make sure the sensor which you plug in ps3 is something about 1/2 metre or higher!!!!. If it is impossible for you to do so, because of low TV table etc. use simple usb extension cord. If you do that everything is fine, it really works, its not even a hint, rather and requiremnet!!! Still its a shame that activision didn't write about that simple stuff.Of course have fresh batteries or reloaded rechargeable ones.About the game its cool and really fun to play!

not only do you need the board but the dongal as well. was hard to get hold of the dongal but we already had the board.55 mins of trying to get it to connect I gave up and websearched for support. another week of waiting for me to get hold of the dongal before the kids could playBUTonce it was all set up it's fun for all the family and ages from 4 to 58 had a go

After reading the reviews I was a little unsure if I was doing the right thing getting this for my 7 year old. It was easy to connect up and I must say that we have a average size space in front of the tv, my son and his friends have had lots of fun with this - money well spent.

My son is non stop playing, it is so much fun for all the family. It is that much fun, that I have to tell him to stop and go out to play. But it is a excellent game for all the family.

The game is a great fun, good group fun,. I read some bad reviews about the previous game about the board, but this one seems to be good build, tested a lot and no problems.
