So many good/bad points...but still a great game!I'll get stuck in with the bad points.-Every superstar in the game who has dark blonde hair in real life, has brown hair in the game e.g Shawn Michaels, Triple H, William Regal, Jack Swagger etc.-In MyCareer, when you assign yourself a manager, they do not appear in your entrance as a manager would, yet the announcer says, 'accompanied by...'. Then as the match is about to begin, they appear ringside!-In MyCareer I bought the ability to remove the padding on a turnbuckle. it says to face the turnbuckle by pressing L, then press circle. EVERYTIME I've tried, all my wrestler does is climbs to the middle rope...and circle isn't even the right button to climb the rope!-Again in MyCareer,I was in a match with Ryback. I through him outside, very close to where Naomi (my manager) was standing. I picked up Ryback and gave him a spinebuster and almost instantly my music hit and the bell rang....I had won the match by DQ! (Ryback's head looked to hit Naomi's leg, yet she hadn't been affected)-When pressing square to perform a ground grapple, you will more often than not end up dragging your opponent around the ring...im assuming to get them away from the ropes and into the centre of the ring? However sometimes you will drag them into a more inconvenient/awkward position than they were already in!-£19.99 for the season pass which gets you 3 more showcase rivalries and Paige. I purchased the pass to get all that stuff yet NONE of it is available...2 weeks after its release!!!! Yet they delayed the release of the game for PS4 and Xbox One 3 weeks later than the last gen consoles to make sure the game was perfect for next gen, but in the 3 weeks it was delayed they still haven't got out the DLC content we've paid for!-Might be a harsh point, but a lot of the superstars are in their old style and not up to date. I know a lot of things changed at the wrong time for this game e.g Cody Rhodes-Stardust, The Shield disbanding etc. Maybe They could have included the new content into the DLC package? Now onto some good points.-Gameplay seems a lot more realistic and smooth. at times when you attempt to pick up your opponent or perform a move you will just stand there for a bit, but I don't think that's so bad because wrestlers nowadays don't exactly perform move after move anymore.-Graphics are amazing. Triple H is by far the best as his face looks identical. Although they used the same technology on everyone (except CM Punk) some of them don't look quite as amazing as Triple H. I have to say that alot of people are saying how poor CM Punk looks, but i don't think he looks bad at all. I think he looks as good as some of them do! Another impressive thing is that when you perform moves near the ropes for example a suplex, instead of landing flat as if the ropes weren't there, their legs will be up on the middle/bottom rope.-MyCareer is brilliant! I made some bad points about it earlier in the review, but overall its fantastic. Building a superstar and their career from scratch from the performance centre all the way up to Raw (kind of reminds me a little of the PS1 game WWF Attitude where you went from Shotgun to Heat, then up to Raw) is done so well. I love the way you have to buy skills such as being able to climb the top rope, dive outside or to assign 2 finishers. Also having to work your butt off at the beginning to earn enough points to boost your attributes is great!-Music. Now I have enjoyed the fact that in the last couple of games they have played superstars theme songs in the background of the menu's, however I like that it has gone back to using music outside of WWE because its what it always did with the SVR games. Also, as much as I don't like John Cena...he (apparently) hand picked the music for the game and I don't think he's done a bad job! There's rap, metal, R&B etc. I've played the game a lot in the last 2 weeks and not one song has got on my nerves yet! (unlike soundtracks on games like FIFA!)-STING IS ON IT! All it needs to make it so much more epic is to have Goldberg on it too!A lot of people have different opinions on this game, but I think if you forget about the bad points, its a great game!WWE12 was a terrible 'game'. In my opinion WWE13 is the best in recent years purely because of the large roster size (if you purchase the DLC attitude wrestlers!).I would say that WWE2K15 is a massive improvement in gameplay and graphics. It is a must!!!I hope this review will help you make up your mind

i was highly hesitant to buy this after reading reviews and after actually paying the game at Eurogamer and not enjoying it. What finally made me get it was watching a video of 'Sting' (the wrestler, not the singer from 'the police') playing it on IGN and it looked pretty fun. So i gave in....I am so happy I did as i really do find it fun. I've been working through the 2k showcase which is pretty well done and focuses on the clashes between 'john cena, CM punk' , and 'Shawn Michaels, Triple H'. it's much like the older games in that you get extra unlocks for achieving certain specifics in the matches like performing a finisher at a certain point. Its a great laugh and is genuinely fun to play. The controls are smooth and for once the counter system works most of the time (which i had issue with in previous games). most of the animations are smooth and at times the combination of the great smooth gameplay and the pretty good graphics made it convincing. The graphics for the most part are great with some wrestlers looking stunning (like ultimate warrior), sure some of the incidental characters aren't as good but the wrestlers themselves on the most part are great.the single matches are also great fun with some classic match types (although there is stuff missing which i'll mention shortly). AI is pretty good although they do sometimes get stuck against turnbuckles and such like.multiplayer with a friend online is hilarious. yes there is a bit of lag which can make countering and kicking out of pins awkward, but it's by no means game breaking. it's pretty easy to get used to the timings and within 5 minutes I found it was pretty straight forward.with everything that works well, there are some issues that potential buyers should be aware of:1.) the list of match types that you can play is pretty limited and annoying in the fact that certian ones can only be played 1v1,2v2 etc. for example there is no option as far as i know for a 1v1 ladder match or a 1v1 table match. some matches such as inferno have been taken out completely which doesn't bother me too much but i still would have been nice to have the option to play them. Another confusing thing is the fact that some match types like casket matches are in 2k showcase but not selectable as a single match type !?!2.) although the graphics are highly improved there are still tons of hilarious glitches such as wrestlers sinking into the floor, chairs flying across the screen after getting stuck in a corner etc. But for me they just add more enjoyment into the game.3.) there doesn't seem to be a royal rumble match type online.... this for me was gutting as royal rumbles online with friends were always awesome. but here it doesn't seem to be included. you can play it single player but unfortunately nowhere else.4.) although the create a wrestler mode is quite extensive in customising the chacrters, there are very few options when it comes to ring entrances and music. the older games featured options to select some character entrances from the likes of jeff hardy, now although you can make him (with his moveset) you can't seem to create a convincing intro.5.) I'd have liked the option to be a few more classic wrestlers from the attitude era like lita, the dudleys, edge, the hardys. but this is just a personal thing ...My issues with the game really do not affect how enjoyable the game is . It plays well and looks great. All the problems could be fixed through patching so I'm not too concerned.all in all I'd say that this is by far my favourite wrestling title since smackdown on ps1 (well at least the ps4 version is) and it really doesn't deserve all of the bad press it's getting. I'd say if you enjoy wrestling and are up for a laugh this could be the game you've been looking for.

this game is great. i like it a lot! its fun, and the superstars look realistic! take 2 has done great with their recent wwe franchise.they have a lot of fun game modes like 6-man ladder and up to 40-player royal rumble (my favourite match types)they have referee mode! seriously, you can play as any superstar as a referee. how awesome is that? they also have wwe universe.wwe universe is a like a simulator mode for WWE brands, first introduced from smackdown vs raw 2011 (my childhood game :D)universe is an advanced and entertaining way of enjoying WWE with suprising plot twists and championship statuses.creation mode is amazing with a lot of things to create, like a superstar and created superstars can be uploaded to the online community for others to download, use and rate your creations.btw, the graphics on the PS3 are awesome and realistic! they really match the real superstars, because they were supposed to match the real superstars lawlzthey also have this amazing "create a stage" mode! thats right, you can literally make your very own WWE arena / stage and use it to battle in, instead of always fighting in the raw / smackdown arenas. AMAZING, RIGHT?! :Dnow that i've pointed out good things, there are some things that make this game 'frustrating?'for example, they DID remove story creator mode, so I cant make my own stories anymore unlike in the previous games. and also removed the feature of adding custom music in 'create a entrance' so i was a bit dissapointed.as for difficulty, its ok, but the game is a lot more challenging even on normal difficulty. the controls are good, but the reversal system is too difficult, i know how they are trying to make the game fair by giving a penalty for mashing the reversal button, but the prompt appears for only an instant and makes it hard for you to counter signatures and finishing moves. its fun to counter and reverse the moves. but they are very hard to master, so make sure you have good reaction timing for this one.the game is great and i love it! but i do feel like it could use some improvements :)thx 4 reading dis review :D

Everyone has their opinions, and this is mine. I seem to be in the minority here but i love this game.I haven't owned a wwe game since one of the ps2 titles years ago (which i loved) so cant compare this game to any of the newer gen wrestling games. But jumping back into it, i slowly remembered why i loved it.Controls at first i found hard to figure out, but once i did it all felt comfortable and easy to use with the likes of striking, grappling and throwing your oponents towards the ropes. Roster wise, i cant tell you if its a good roster or not as i haven't religously watched wrestling since the early 2000's. The graphics are beautiful and gameplay is good.Sometimes there is the odd mishap where you bith run towards eacho ther intending to hit each other and you bounce off each other, but that can be overlooked if you're not too fussy. One massive criticism i have seen a lot in these reviews is that a lot of people dont like the new stamina and that wrestlers get too tired for a long frantic fight to happen. I personaly think this is a fantastic touch as it adds realism and makes it more of a simulator rather than giving it an arcady feel. One of the main reasons i bought this game was for the my career mode. As a big fan of the NBA 2K14 and 2k15 career modes i was expecting big things. I am only a few matches into it so far but can tell i will love it. First of all, when you create your superstar, the amount of editing you can do is ridiculous. You can customize them in literally anyway you want and put your own slogans on their t shirts etc. Once you start, the plan is for you to work your way up to become the champion via all the shows e.g. nxt, superstars, main event and then smackdown or raw.I havent played any other modes yet other than single player and career so sorry if you came here for reviews on them. But i hope i have helped and as i said im in the small minority it seems like, but i think this is a really good game and I'd recommend it.

Having just bought this game I have to agree with many of the other reviews on here. The game is interesting and the graphics are amazing, they have spent a lot of time making the game look great. Unfortunately this comes at the sacrifice of many of the modes that many of us have become used to over the years. My career mode is a nice step by step advance through the ranks of the WWE. This is where most of the gameplay will take place as it is as lengthy as you want it to be. Starting at the performance centre, working through the ranks of NXT and on to the main roster. It has been a long while since a game mode has been focused on a created superstar and this is what makes the game.Universe mode is still here and has a reason for playing,to collect clues, although I'm not sure what these are for! The game does suffer from some glitches that will hopefully be removed with new game updates, which is the advantage of a next generation console.Overall, this game is worth buying if like me You have missed WWE games! It is a worthwhile addition to the series, just a bit rough around the edges.

This year 2K had full control of the development of this latest WWE Game release and it shows which improved graphics, game physics and sound effects. Now it's not all positive as others have said a few things have been removed but they are largely minor eg lack of entrance moves, no custom music etc but it doesn't really affect the enjoyment of the game in my view, now this is what makes the game for me is the fact this game has a lot of things to unlock and has a lot of wrestlers & arenas from my favourite era in WWE the "Ruthless Agression" Era where we get the legend killer Randy Orton (2003-2007) the Evolution version of Batista (2003-2005)and the Nature boy Ric Flair from his Evolution days as well as the heart break kid Shawn Michaels from that era too, also some modern day guys like Punk and some more legends on DLC like Sting, William Regal, Fit Finlay, DDP, Bam Bam Bigelow, Edge, Christian among others coming soon. So overall if you love Pro Wrestling like me you can't go wrong with this game, I highly recommend it 8/10 for me.

We all have our opinions, but mine's is positive. WWE 2K15 is here, and available on the new generation consoles. Pre-ordered this in August. The wait has been worth it. The graphics are brilliant, and has a great selection of playable Superstars like John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, including selections of Divas like AJ Lee, Natalya, The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyl girls, Summer Rae, and even more happy to finally see Tamina Snuka in her video game debut despite the fact she's been part of the company since 2010 when she was with her cousins, The Usos. I'm enjoying the 2K Showcase and the MyCareer Mode looks fun.I'll do my usual and wait to play the WWE Universe mode until all things are unlocked and all characters from DLC are downloaded.

Since WWE 2k15 was released for Playstation 4 and XBox One, opinions of the game have been rather decisive with most praising the design and graphics while critizing the absence of many game modes such as Create a Story and Creating a Diva while Create a Superstar has been limited to 25 slots. The limited number of superstars compared to the previous few games has also spared some criticism, however it hasn't really bothered me as the superstars would likely would have been included would be lower card stars. While some of the gameplay is a little tacky, WWE 2k15 I still an entertaining game where you have replay many famous rivalries in Showcase mode including John Cena vs. CM Punk and HHH vs.Shawn Michaels.

I stopped watching wrestling over 10 years ago, I still had a couple of favorites still wresting. I got this for my kids when the finally call me over to play it I loved the game. All the elements are there and the graphics have come such a long way. Even though there is no season mode. There is a showcase mode where you get to relive a couple of WWE storylines. You have to play with which ever character the computer tell you to, luckily for me one of these two were staring my favorite CM Punk, (who I probably would have chooses anyway). Each match in this has certain "spots" you have to do to unlock content either new videos or characters.I might not be a fan of the programming but I gladly paly this game.

This is a difficult one. The graphics in the game are down right amazing and to be honest, I'm really enjoying My Career. The collar and elbow tie-up makes the game seem more realistic and the slow match pace and slow reactions do make everything seem real. HOWEVER there are a few cons as well. If realism doesnt matter and you want downright faced paced action, then WWE2k14 is the game for you. Also the roster is tiny, and lets face it, some of the features we know and love have been removed. If you want a dramatic story and realistic endings then this is a fantastic game. If you on the other hand want to get super creative and just want to demolish little talent on a big roster, wait until WWE2k16.

Some people are crazy to not like this game how can it be called the wprst wrestling game ever its actually one of the best ever eith it set to legend difficultie you can have the most realistic wrestling matches ever on a wwe game its allways back and forth and very hard to win a match which is great the only bad thing is glitches which will be fixed and there is a shortage on roster match types and creations but this is due to the change over to next gen. In all honesty this game is great best wrestling game ever made with so much realism in match ups and graphics its the most fun wrestling game ive ever played so dont listen to reviews and critics who just hate it for small things.

27.12.2014

This game has really changed the wrestling game franchise for the better.First off the graphics are amazing with every detail done to superiority, wrestlers, arenas belts and weapons all look great, the crowd are even impressive looking. The gameplay is stunning, along with the stamina system which really makes the match feel life like.My career mode is a cool concept that gives you the chance to create your own competitor and work your way up from nxt.Showcase mode is highly detailed and very well portrayed. All in all this honestly in my opinion is the best wrestling game made, I cannot understand the criticism it received.

20.3.2015

The create a superstar has been toned down a lot in terms of customisation but the seem to have taken a few a the caps off as my 7ft 2 high flying shark man will testify to... Well he can't really talk so I guess not this game is stupidly fun. The visuals are pretty hit and miss some people looks amazing (randy orton) while some people look like they are still loading (Batista not that anyone likes him anymore) if you get a chance to try the game first I recommend playing Daniel Bryan he's probably the most fun character to play as especially when you ragdoll the big show

30.12.2014

Although the roster may not be as good as last years roster this game is still an amazing game to play. For starters the my career section is absolutely awesome with that it gives you the chance to experience what the career of a wwe superstar might be like. Next is the gameplay in that instead of it being overly arcade based it has now become a true simulator which is a challenge but a joy at the same time to play.If you're even thinking about getting this game just go for it because you won't regret it once you get seriously involved.

29.11.2014

Finally a WWE game has changed the core gameplay and it shows straight away, the graphics are very good (I would say awesome but some people look like total trash ala Batista) and everything about the game meshes very well, a lot of options and match types have been stripped out to make room for the future (well thats how i see it). It is no doubt a 4* game although very good its not without its problems and shows that we may finally get a 5* WWE game one of these years
