It annoys me when people write reviews based on hype without actually playing the game itself. Please excuse the opening rant. I have played this game in the arcade, and i was very impressed by the graphics, they are by far the best in series so far (and thats just in the arcade, Namco usually improve the graphics for the home console versions!). Being a Time Crisis veteran, the inclusion of new weapons is slightly strange and takes a while to get to grips with, although its a great addition and adds more strategy to the game (Other than planning when you are gonna duck or shoot). The enemies now have life bars, so you have to shoot them more than once to kill them, which is where the new weapons come in,some weapons are more effective than others. This also opens up added challenge of getting head-hits to kill them quicker (something that the series has lacked for a long time, ie shooting one in the foot is the same as shooting them in the head).Following Namco's trend of adding extra modes to add to the life of the game. They have a sniper game added in there, no doubt to improve your accuracy with head shots, which in turn will make you better at the main game. The only downfall of these games is that they are over way too quickly if you are adept at shooting games (like i am) but it proves a great challenge to newbies of the genre, as later stages get extremely challenging.All in all this is a great game, if you have the cash for a gun-con get one, if you already have one, buy another! the 2-player modes are great fun with mates.Playability 5/5Graphics 5/5Game Life 3/5Overall 4/5 just becuase the game ends too soon, but the 2 player modes are excellant fun with friends, and the graphics are extremely good! buy it :)

Time Crisis 3 is by far the best one of the 4,and just incase you think I've made a mistake saying 4, there is 4 the extra one being Time Crisis Prodject Titen. The wepons on it are brilliant compared to a dogey handgun on the rest of them. You could obliterate the bosses with a machine gun, kick those red guys butts with a shotgun, if they really anoy you could explode them into little pieces with a granade gun or maybe die with a handgun. DO NOT even concider buying this game without a G-con45 or G-con2 its pointless you would have more fun watching paint dry.The game only has 3 levels but the game is suprisingly quite long because once you have completed it you unlock a couple of secret levels to put the icing on the cake.So should you buy it?Rent it before you do. I like it, you may not it's the only way to tell.

Just by looking at this game, it's going to be massive. Huge amount of fun!The storyline isn't great (like most games of this genre), but the game features a big choice of weapons, such as handgun, machinegun, shotgun & grenade launcher. There are a variety of levels - 3 main stages, with sub-levels. The constant shooting & intense, explosive scenes are totally worth the money...And it works with the GUNCON45 as well as the GUNCON2.Buy this!!

In reflection to what was said about the game earlier about splitting the screen in two, this can be avoided by playing "double dun mode" you and your friend then both get to play and the screen is not then divided, this is ideal for smaller TV sets.Great game and pleanty of fun!

Very good intents shooting game, a verity of guns to switch between and a very good story line. Was just like playing it on the machines in the arcade.
