30/03/2020. I have been suffering with tennis elbow now for 4 years. It has now got to a point where it is impossible for me to do barbell curls or pull-ups. It is a constant draining pain to always live with and when I am sleeping at night I will wake up from the dull aching pain. Fed up of this situation I tried various methods to cure this problem but without success. I have used BPC-157 injections which cost me nearly £200 but it did nothing. I used elbow sleeves, used eltro pad shocks, massages, medication, stretching and laying off the exercise for months. The only thing so far that seems to have helped me is the deep massages I do myself on my tendons.I am now testing this Thera-Band out and I will come back for an update. My first impression though is that the blue one is too hard for me and I wish I bought the medium one.02/04/20 - This is an update to let people suffering from tennis elbow and golfers elbow that this product has reduced my pain by 80 percent which for me is absolutely incredible. I have only been using if for a few days and at first it seemed too difficult to turn but now my muscles have adapted. I am going to continue with it and see how my elbows feel after a couple of weeks of use. There is no doubt that this has helped my pain more than anything and really I am quite in shock. Let me be clear though I am still in pain but not like how it was. I still cannot do pull-up or barbell curl but at least now I can rotate my arm without extreme pain like before.17/04/2020I have been using it everyday maybe 4 or 5 times throughout the day and doing around 50 repetitions. My conclusion is that the Thera-Band has definitely relieved my pain more than anything else but it did not rid the pain completely. I still cannot do a pull-up nor can I do a bicep curl anymore. I may have a more serious injury that I will check out with an X-Ray however the pain was greatly reduced and for that I think anyone suffering you invest in this just to relieve the pain and it may even rid the pain completely for you if you do not have a major injury like meUpdate: 20th April 2021. My elbow is 90 percent better. I believe the Theraband had a very big part to play in the strengthening of the tendons in my forearm. I still use the Theraband throughout the week. The pain I had for many years was unbearable at times. Oh and I can now do pull ups and bicep curls with only a slight pain. Before it was impossible to do due to the pain.

Sadly I'm no stranger to tendon injuries, so when I got golfer's elbow from weightlifting and muscle-up training, I knew I needed some form of eccentric loading exercise. I started out with eccentric bicep curls, then when I spotted the YouTube videos for "Reverse Tyler Twists" I bought the blue (heavy) flexbar (note: the "Reverse" part is key; standard Tyler twists are for tennis elbow). Standard advice is to progress from light to heavy, buying each of the different strength flexbars as you go. I'm a tight-fisted Yorkshireman with a very strong grip :) so I just went straight for the blue, and it was the right call for me.I did 15 reps of reverse Tylers 2-3 times per day plus 1-2 x 30 sec wrist stretches, combined with icing then re-heating via infra red lamp. I didn't stop training though I did reduce volume and frequency of exercises that caused the most pain. The reverse Tylers were of course painful to do, but effective. Two and a half months later my golfer's elbow is all but gone. Even plyometric pullups & muscle-up negatives don't hurt the elbow now.In my opinion the flexbar coupled with reverse Tyler twists is superior to the alternatives such as eccentric bicep curls, eccentric pullups and so on because of the rotational nature of the resistance. Even now, a set of reverse Tylers still causes some minor discomfort on my affected arm, whereas eccentric curls do nothing (and discomfort goes with the territory for effective eccentric loading)

I developed really sore elbow joints last summer and have spent a good year trying to manage the pain. Ice, massage, rest, YouTube remedy videos, the lot, and nothing worked. I have also tried many of the suggestions from people commenting on the theraband.. just use a towel.. just do this exercise in the gym etc.. trust me they do not work the same. It got pretty debilitating to be honest. One year on I decided to purchase the thera-band. I went for the blue as I regularly deadlift, bench press and squat in the gym so have a pretty respectable level of strength. I wont lie, it took me ages to master the movements and the first few attempts were painful. However, a few weeks on and my elbows are steadily improving.I will also say that this is HARD WORK that requires commitment and dedication. I have pain in both elbows and three sets of 15, with rest, on each arm, takes me a good twenty minutes. I do this once a day now but began with three times. I just wish I'd had this piece of kit when the pain first emerged as I'm convinced it would of never of got as bad as it did. I look forward to the relief it brings everyday and my overall arm strength is rapidly improving and I feel I wont have to even use it anymore soon. Buy as soon as you can and dedicate time for your rehabilitation. Excellent piece of kit.

I can't believe I failed to come across this flex bar for almost a year of suffering from tennis elbow. Initially Went to physio who told me some common stretching exercises. They didn't work. After popping NSAIDs like crazy and massage therapy, ice and lots of rest I.e days off from building work i really was beginning to get depressed.Having suffered with chronic tennis elbow for 8 months by now and sometimes waking up in the middle of the night with pain I had enough and went to the doctors with a view to having cortisone injections. They were only too happy to oblige and I even contemplated surgery.Somehow I came across the flex bar and what a revelation.I went straight for the blue because the green one was out of stock and having read reviews I couldn't wait to get my hands on one. The blue one was a bit of a challenge but I built up reps slowly over 2 weeks. Now 4 weeks have gone by and my arm feels better than it has in 12 month. Tennis elbow has all but gone and I even recommended it to the physio who is a bit sheepish having charged me £400 for ultra sound sessions. You must do the exercises as recommended. Nice and slow without causing pain. It's the slow release that works more effectively. Buy one now if you suffer from forearm tendinitis.

Being in a physically demanding job and a regular gym goer, I was plagued by persistent tennis elbow. I tried two cortisone treatments, rest, exercise you name it. I saw this product being talked about by Joe Rogan and how it helped him tremendously with his golfer's elbow. I decided to give it a go. I bought the blue flexbar, I think one of the strongest ones. I started using it every night for the first week in April 2018. I then gradually phased down week by week as I think I started off too strong with the blue one. Remember you are rehabilitating a nagging injury. Don't start off with the strongest band as I did. But if you do, then don't overdo it. It's now October 2018 and I have ZERO issues with my tennis elbow.I truly believe a combination of high-quality CBD oil and this flexbar cured it. No need for cortisone injects, anti-inflammatories or physiotherapists. Save your money. These injuries are so annoying and take lots of time to heal but this is one fantasic product for speeding up the process and strenghtening your injured . tendon. Highly recommended.

Had very painful golfers elbow and this does help temporarily. I hope eventually it might solve the problem with time - fingers crossed.very expensive for what it is - and I wish there had been a pack with a variety of strengths. I chose the blue . I am quite strong but obviously want to get technique perfect to start with. I knew if i got a lighter version i would not need it for too long and it is not cheap for a lump of rubber....on the other hand with the pain i was in my technique struggled initially - and i knew i wasn't getting the most out of it. however after a few weeks my strength built up and now is OK.tricky to use initially especially with the strength needed.I was actually going in wrong direction for a few days until i watched a video on youtubeI have given it a higher rate than its individual components because there isn't much else to help with this medical issue - so worth a try. choose strength carefully if you can't afford several.

I was suffering from tennis elbow in my right elbow for over a year, from playing guitar, and I was starting to develop golfers elbow in both arns from doing brazilin jiujitsu. I've been using this for a month now. The golfer's elbow has all but disappeared, and the tennis elbow is feeling so much stronger. It hasn't completely gone yet but I feel like its only a matter of time now. Cannot recommend this product highly enough.Went from red to green to blue. I wouldn't bother with the red at all. The green is okay, but it only took me a week before graduating onto the blue.

Regularly weight train and over did it resulting in golfers elbow. Could not use my left arm at all in the gym for about 3 weeks without pain. Bought the product at the beginning of April and followed the exercises in the video below. Felt the difference almost immediately.http://youtu.be/9P-QOaCoDWYWord of caution - there is no quick fix for golfers elbow. I did the exercises twice a day for 5 weeks and it is only now getting back to normal. Suspect it will be another 2 to 3 weeks before I'm fully back. Hard slog but worth perservering.

Why is Britain always behind the USA? I suffered from acute tennis elbow. I went to the Dr's had the cortisone injections, went again & got referred to phsyio. Not much better. Googled it, and came across this item being used in USA and instructional demo on YouTube. I have to say its worked. My symptoms are mild now, and I used this item regularly. The only downside, is the instructions that come with it are in German. Also the colours of the grip denote different flexibility so make sure you get the right one. A GREAT PRODUCT?

I tried loads of exercises to cure my tennis elbow and forearm tendonitis caused through lots of gum work and pull ups combined with long drum practice! This is the only thing that worked and it cured it fast. The exercises are easy (kind of like like twisting a motorbike throttle) and the rubber bar is easy to carry around in a bag or briefcase of you need to travel. After two weeks using the bar my tendonitis disappeared and hasn't returned.

Physical therapy equipment is never going to be cheap and at about £20 each these definitely aren't. However, they are extremely good. I started on a red one to straighten my elbows and in a matter of weeks my elbow was straighter so I decided to upgrade. I skipped green in favour of blue.I have quite large hands and find it almost too large but it's certainly solid and tough and I think it will fully straighten my elbows.

Three weeks since I got this and I have had some real improvement in my medial epicondylitis and my calisthenics training is looking like it's back on track. Hoping that the trend continues! I would say that for a strong and fit man the blue flexbar is the one you need. I'm not sure the lighter items would have been rigid enough to give sufficient resistance.

A quality product, expensive. Time will tell as to it’s longevity. There’s a leaflet inside showing some of the exercises one can perform, though these days a quick internet search will reveal many more.If I had to I would buy again.I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to improve their grip.

I borrowed a green flexbar from my physiotherapist,to help with post shoulder surgery. Very impressed so when I had to return it I bought my own. The best price I could find and don't worry about the german instructions, they are still easy to follow. This flexbar is also ideal for golfers/tennis elbow.

Been suffering from tennis elbow in both arms for months now and tried all different types of straps nothing has worked I been using this product less than a week and has definitely worked! 3 sets of 10 reps everyday is enough because this one is ridged and gives a lot of tension when twisted
