I purchased this for work, not for exercise or therapy but simply to play with while I am on the phone (as I am often in my line of work).I believe the images shown for this product do a it a disservice as the product is quality and do not have such a prominent line on them as shown in the images. They are very pleasant to touch and squeeze as they are solid silicone. I have tried other 'stress' balls before but usually they break/rip/tear easily or are filled with some kind of substance that leaks however this is not the case with these. They do come in a pair unlike other sellers; for the same price I might add! Specifically a pink and blue one which have different densities meaning that the pink one is easier to squeeze and the blue one more firm. This is great as my girlfriend often plays with her hands and so I gave her the pink one which is suitable as she required a less firm one. They are not too small nor to big and fit easily in your hand. Initially they felt a little sticky; really not much! However with heavy use this has gone away. The only 'downside' to this is that if you are going to store it where there are lots of hairs/dust (for example on a desk), it will stick to the ball. To counter this (as I find it unpleasant) I keep mine in a clear case which is clean from hair/dust.Overall 5/5; great product and no downsides that the manufacturer can do anything about.

I saw my Doctor because the arthritis pain in my little finger was unbearable. She said the best way to help this was exercising the joint rather than taking constant pain killers. So I ordered these Therapy Balls. After just a couple of weeks of exercising twice a day, the difference is amazing. I've been using the softer of the 2 balls but will build up to the harder one in time.I haven't taken any painkillers for a week and I'm much better at gripping things too. I can't believe something so simple could have such an effect on my life.I'd previously been slipping into a sadness because my fingers were deteriorating and I was worried how I'd cope as things got worse. Now the outlook is so much better than I could have hoped. When these balls wear out from all the use they'll get, I'll be buying another set!Updated 22/8/16. I misplaced these balls for a few days 2 weeks ago and didn't think it would be a problem. How wrong I was. The pain and stiffness came back really quickly and I had to hunt out the painkillers again. Needless to say I searched the house high and low to find the therapy balls. What a relief. After a few days of exercise, I was back to being pain free again. I won't make a mistake like that again !

Bought these for my father following an operation on his spine. Prior to the surgery he had lost pretty much all the feeling in his hands and feet, so after the surgery he had to have physio to start building the strength up again. The physio people at the hospital approved these balls and they were kept on the bed table and periodically my father would pick them up and use them. He believes that the balls have helped him in getting the feeling and strength back in his hands and fingers. He is now able to open a new screw cap bottle of water, which it an achievement for him believe me!They are strong with just enough 'squish' to them so you use your muscles to squeeze them. They do feel a little odd,but it gives them a natural feel in the hand which doesn't cause any friction problems. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed playing with them too, which helped make visiting hours less daunting!

Bought these for my Mum who suffers from arthritis in her hands. They are a Christmas present, but having read all the reviews from people with finger/hand arthritis and how excellent these therapy balls have been in helping to reduce pain and strengthen hands I'm really looking forward to hearing a similar review from my Mum in a couple of weeks...so hopefully I will write another review with 5 stars! The 4 stars I've given are for 1/ people's reviews, 2/ price and 3/ Amazon were SO quick at delivering these, I only ordered them 2 evenings ago! Here is hoping for even better results!! Leigh

I bought these to help out my dear old mother (I hope she doesn't read that bit) who broke her wrist last year. The balls have been very effective in helping her get strength and movement back into her hand, after so long of it being immobilized in plaster. The physio was quite taken with them upon seeing them. I've no idea if they actually speed up recovery time, but according to my mother they have been quite helpful and as such would be a worthwhile investment for anyone who has been advised to get something squeezy for their therapy.

I ordered these for my husband, who has arthritis in his fingers, which makes them very stiff. They arrived promptly, and seem ideal. They are in fact quite firm, but give the hands a good workout, and he says he can certainly feel it the next day. The flexibility in his fingers is improing already. The order includes two sets of two balls - four in all - which allows for keeping them to hand in different rooms around the house (plus spares for grandchildren to play with!). I would certainly buy these again. Recommended.

A few months back I broke my wrist on duty and had to under go surgery. I was in a plaster cast for about 6 weeks. I wasn't able to excise my hand or arm and as a result lost some muscle tone in my arm.Once I was out of the cast I found it difficult to use my hand or fingers, I couldn't even hold my electric tooth brush. I Google hand Therapy balls and found these on amazon. I've now used these over 2 months, in the first week alone I regained use of my hand. These things are amazing..

I actually got 2 sets: one for me, to play with while working and another set for a relative who had a wrist injury. They are great tension/stress relievers and also good for exercising finger and hand strength (pink one for pinky finger). On the box you can see various exercises you can do with them, which is useful. The silicon does have a very pleasant texture to it. This means however, that they can get dirty easily. One should be careful not to drop them on the floor for example.

25.2.2016

Good product, good size especially for me as I have very small hands (i wear xs leather glove size) and are easy to use and not slippery. However the exercises are very poor on Youtube and there's none in the packet; if you don't have internet to search for different exercises or are not in physio already you will struggle to use them effectively. It would have been more helpful to have a short exercise sheet in the package or printed on the back of the product cardboard outer.

This product arrived quickly and is brilliant. I read reviews that say both therapy balls are too small I disagree I have large hands and believe they are the ideal size to use. The pink one is very squishy ideal to begin with after recovering from a hand/finger injury and then the blue one is firmer for progression over time. I keep these both packed away once used because the material of the balls would easily attract fur and hair to stick to them.

What else could I say? Thats what they are.As someone who suffers from arthritis in their fingers and wrists these two balls give the added excersise needed to keep them supple and regain strength. There was, however, very little to chose between the harder or softer of the two, but all in all value for money. Recommended.Reasonable price and, as usual, excelent delivery from Amamzon. A definite recommendation for those with similar problems.

Bought this for an elderly parent who had had a slight stroke, impairing the use of one of their hands. I didn't know if it would help, but they found these therapy balls of more assistance than almost anything the medical or physio staff provided for the hand's rehabilitation. They are small enough to put in some pockets, so readily available to use as and when necessary. Comfortable to hold and good value for money. Well worth the purchase.

On the positive side....what we got is excellent, the exercise balls are the right size for my wife, they arrived quickly and safely. So overall we got what we needed at a good price with excellent service. On the negative side....they don't look anything like the picture. They are much smaller. So I can understand if some people could feel they had been mislead when they compare what they get with what the picture suggests.

2 therapy balls for a good price, too good to be true??. I took a chance and am glad I did. My wife is increasingly loosing her grip strength and I wanted to get something to help her. Going by the Amazon reviews, I thought that this may well be a good choice and I was right.2 balls, 2 strengths which enables the user to build up their grip strength over a period of time without too much strain on the hand.Recommended

A year ago I had a serious illness affecting my right side, and the right hand is taking the longest to show improvement. One of my Occupational Therapists suggested looking for an hand exercise ball, and when I read the reviews of this product, especially one who said her mother found them extremely helpful, I decided there and then to send for a pack. In my case the blue one was just the right level. So helpful.
