I was so impressed with this powerball that I looked up some research, see below. I found their website to be very useful for learning how to use the ball, so if you are having difficulty then watch their videos.Utility of the Powerball in the invigoration of the musculature of the forearm.Balan SA1, Garcia-Elias M.Author informationAbstractIn order to ascertain the utility of a 250 Hz NSD Powerball gyroscope in increasing the maximum grip force and muscular endurance of the forearm, ten adults without pathology in their upper limbs exercised one forearm with the device during a period of one month. We evaluated grip strength and forearm muscle endurance with a Jamar dynamometer both at the end of the month as well as after a resting period of one month. There was a tendency (not statistically significant p = 0.054), for the volunteers to increase their maximum grip strength. There was also highly significant increase in muscle endurance (p = 0.00001), a gain that remained slightly unchanged after the rest. Because the gyroscope generates random multidirectional forces to the forearm, the reactive muscle contraction is likely to stimulate more efficient neuromuscular contro of the wrist, a conclusion which our work appears to validate. The use of Powerball in forearm proprioception deficient patients is, therefore, justified.Effects of eight-week "gyroscopic device" mediated resistance training exercise on participants with impingement syndrome or tennis elbow.Babaei-Mobarakeh M1, Letafatkar A2, Barati AH3, Khosrokiani Z1.Author informationAbstractBACKGROUND:Rehabilitation of injuries in the upper extremity and reestablishment of muscle strength throughout the range of motion in overhead movements, are the major concerns of athletes and coaches in the sports field.PURPOSE:To determine the effect of eight-week "gyroscopic device" mediated resistance training exercise on grip strength, wrist and shoulder strength and proprioception, and upper extremity performance, in participants with impingement syndrome or tennis elbow.DESIGN AND METHODS:For this study, in a university rehabilitation clinic 45 volleyball players (aged 22-28) purposefully were selected and divided into 3 groups: shoulder impingement (group I), tennis elbow (group II), and control (group III). The experimental groups performed the "gyroscopic device" mediated resistance training, three sessions a week over 8 wks. Grip strength, wrist and shoulder strength and proprioception, and upper extremity performance were measured before and after implementation of the intervention (eight-week resistance training using a "gyroscopic device") using a hand hold dynamometer, isokinetic dynamometer, and Y balance test respectively.RESULTS:After 8 weeks of "gyroscopic device" exercise, improvement in the shoulder, wrist and grip strength, shoulder and wrist proprioception and performance scores of both experimental groups was significant. There were no significant differences between study groups I and II, both groups, however, demonstrated significant differences when compared to the control group, but between group I and the control group, and between group II and the control group, the difference was significant. However, no significant change was seen in the control group.CONCLUSIONS:Due to the significant effects of the "gyroscopic device" mediated exercise on grip strength, wrist and shoulder strength and proprioception, and performance of the upper extremity, use of the exercise can be recommended for subjects with impingement syndrome or tennis elbow impairment in measured variables. More research is needed to confirm the result of this study.

It fits perfectly. My only criticism is why does the powerball not come with it included? Having to buy the case separately takes the overall price to over £50. The product is very clever and effective and I can’t find anything similar on the market but it is flipping expensive. I like a nice product and I buy things from the likes of Victorinox and Snap-On which are pricey but they come with a lifetime guarantee. What does the powerball offer except exclusivity? It still gets five stars but I do slightly begrudge the price. Surely it could be made for less.

Well, what can you say? Powerballs fit within this pouch just fine. A nice snug fit, which, I think is perfect. No rattling or shifting inside. This of course stops it getting polished or scuffed in anyway. This is of course is making sure that there is no particles or rubbish trapped inside the pouch. I also like the zip, which works just fine. I recommend this pouch if you like to look after your Powerball. It also allows the wrist strap or lanyard to poke out at the end of the closure.

I bought this product to go with the autostart powerball. It is a snug fit but not too tight, I didn't have to strain the zip to get it closed. It is a neat case that keeps the ball protected and clean and makes it easy to carry about in your bag without the fear of it getting damaged or dust and dirt getting into the inner ball which I can imagine would break the powerball pretty rapidly.I was impressed with the quality, it is very well made considering the price.

Best way to keep the dust out and protect your power ball. I have had so many PB in the past and never bought a case as I wasn't even aware that they had. After long use and constant contact with couches, tables and carpets the dust and dirt that settles and eventually stops the balls working so smoothly. Eventually having to replace my PB as it stops working but now with this case it is kept safe from dust and being dropped.Excellent service and delivery...

Have used a powerball for about 2 years now & just loved the idea of this case when I first saw it. Now that I have it, I still love it. It's a nice home for the powerball - sturdy, snug, & let's face it, it's so cool! Was a little worried after reading a review that said it might be a little "too" snug, but for me they got the measurements spot on. A must buy for anyone who wants to keep their powerball clean & safe in a fitted jacket!

It fits my Powerball 250 hz Pro Blue PERFECTLY. I've read comments saying it was too small but maybe it was for other balls, or maybe it was an older case and they had to correct it, I don't know... But for sure this one is of very good quality. I can even put the little string (used to start the Powerball) at the bottom of the case, no problem. This is very useful if you have to carry your ball while on trip or stuffs like that.

This is a well made product but I found it an extremely tight fit. Only by wrapping the string inside the ball was I able to get it in with the string inside. It offers great protection though.I found the black tends to make the ball unnoticeable. Not a good thing if one was hoping to use it regularly. I'm a person that needs to see things out in the open to remember to do it.A brighter colour would be very effective.

This case is a good idea - it keeps your Powerball safe and can keep your string with it as well. However, as a few reviews have already stated, it is a bit too snug and as a result the zipper on my one broke after only a couple of weeks. Maybe I could have made sure that the ball was pushed in fully before closing the zip but either way you should be careful.I'd recommend getting one but it is a bit fragile!

A must for all powerball uses everywhere, if you travel with your powerball you have to have one of these, handy strap for carrying which can be detached. Keeps the dust and dirt outa your ball and protects it excellently from being bashed and broken room for cleaning cloth and a few starting strings, although the fit is snug and the ball doesn't move around a lot inside. Very good case

Not sure why so many don't rate this, I found it a snug fit, but it easily stores my powerball signature pro, starter cords and even the powerball wrist strap still attached to the powerball! It's a really good accessory in my opinion, allows you to store the powerball keeping it free of dust or anything that could get into the mechanism and cause wear or damage. Great product.

When I first got this case with my neon powerball it didn't seem like it would fit as the rubber grip wouldn't let it sit right in the case, and i thought what a load of pidgin poo!!!! but after fiderling I found that if you turn the ball on it's side it fit's fine and i can have more then one string in the case as well!!!!!!

Despite mixed reviews I purchased this case along with my Powerball in the hope it would fit inside and keep it safe. I had no problem fitting my Powerball and 2 cords in the case, don't get me wrong it's a snug fit to keep it safe, but it's a perfect fit and does up without any issues. I'm really please with it.

Good product, does what it is meant to do, keep your powerball safe. I like the solid build of it, only one downside is I keep misplacing my string. It would be better if it came with a tiny pocket to keep your red string (Other then the inside beneath the ball) Otherwise a sturdy product and a happy customer.

The power ball is slightly heaver than the original, which makes for a more useful and heavier feel. I use the the power ball to help with relaxing and exercising my wrists. The fact you can wind the ball up and get it humming quicker is less irritating than threading the lace to do the same thing.
