This is a good under-makeup primer but I don't think you could wear it on its own. It helps makeup to last longer without needing a retouch and gives it better coverage, but doesn't do much to conceal or smooth out pores unless you put makeup on top.I have two problems with it. The first is that it smells very chemical, and not in a pleasant way. I don't expect it to be perfumed, but many primers are odour-neutral. The second is that it's quite runny. It comes with a dropper to dispense, but just by taking the dropper out or the bottle it's easy to waste a lot of primer unless you're very careful.So, although this does a good job under makeup, I wouldn't buy it again.

I think this is expensive for what it is. It does make my skin feel nice and appears to provide a good base. I haven't noticed it 'balling up' when used with other products; I do let it sink in first. The biggest thing that puts me off about this is the packaging. It is truly ridiculous. Is it a pipette? God only knows. As if you'd ever be able to use that. I unscrew the topper and scrap it off the pipette thing, which is very reminiscent of scraping the remnants out of a container. Not very glam!

So pleased I've tried this Primer. I do use other products from the Ordinary Range and have never been disappointed. This Primer absorbs into your skin and feels very light and velvety. My foundation glided on and gave a lovely smooth finish.The price is great and far superior to some more expensive ones. I have used Smashbox but feel that this is now my favourite and at the fraction of the price.

Really good stuff. Literally can’t tell the difference between this and my Armani fluid master primer. And it’s a fraction of the price. The only thing I will say is that I would prefer if this had a pump or some other way of dispensing a minimal amount with limited mess. The dropper is messy and useless as it picks up half the bottle, and the tiniest bit of this stuff really goes a very long way.

You don't need much of this but it works a dream. Smooths the skin, open pores disguised and make-up goes one easily and smoothly...and lasts all day. Unlike some primers I have tries, this is so light-weight on the skin that it doesn't feel thick, sticky or 'pebble' when you apply foundation on top. A real winner at a super price... just like The Ordinary foundation (also a winner).

I have never put a review on anything in the past but oh my gosh!!! Best primer I’ve ever used. I have some expensive brands but ordered this after I’d seen it on a few live reviews. Other than using up the others I will never use anything else. My skin feels soft, my makeup looks great and lasts and I cannot believe the price! Simply amazing!

Bought this after seeing it on this morning and make up artist recommended it. Amazing. Glides on, non sticky and foundation lasts all day long looking as good as first applied. Dont normally write reviews but just had to share this. Tons better than more expensive primers i have used.very reasonable price too, and lasts ages.

OMG this is out of this world ladies. Tiny bit only needed for full face and neck. My skin (very sensative) loves this, silky but not sticky or drying. Foundation stays all day with this Primer.Will be buying more of The Ordinary skin care in the furture.Well priced for any pocket.

This is not a bad primer. Very good compared to some others priced much higher. It really smooths the skin ready for foundation. The dropper can get a bit messy so the delivery method is not brilliant but I’d still recommend this.

Great product. I use it under mineral powder foundation and it really helps to create a smoother surface.It has a bit of a weird smell, reminds me of wet earth, but it's not really bad and I much prefer it to perfumed products

love this product. Used it for the first time on my wedding day and my make up was flawless. I like that its thin and feels light on my skin. I highly recommend it. I've used benefit and mac primers and this is by far the best.

I really like this product, was struggling to find a primer i liked, then remembered how much I like other ordinary products, its quite a thick liquid, easy to apply, skins feels soft and powder like after application

Excellent product. Used loads of primers, but always had a problem that my makeup just seemed to slide off after a few hours. With this primer, wow! It still looked fresh at the end of the day. Absolutely love it!

I've tried so many primers .. this one is amazing. Feels lovely on the skin and you only need a small amount. I noticed a difference right away. My skin just looked less 'blotchy' and more even. Love it!
