We had seen this in one of the outdoor shops. But the newer version of this jacket has copper colour logo. Daughter didn't seem to impressed with it, she is a fan of silver. So we looked this up on various sites including Amazon. We found the older version with silver logo in stock here, at a very good price. We immediately ordered, and it arrived in time. Daughter is very happy. The jacket is as expected. Looks stylish. It doesn't provide as much warmth as a real down jacket. But that's expected. She hasn't used this in full fledged rain yet, so can't say anything about its waterproofing. I presume there aren't many of this old version (with silver logo) are in the market,

This jacket seems to be sized as a mid layer, I wear size medium everything but with this I had to exchange for a large size as medium felt too restrictive when worn over a base layer+fleece top. In large the sleeve and neck openings are a bit larger than I would prefer for thermal efficiency but that's a trade off for having a clothing system suited to UK winters and our usual damp weather with temperatures between -3C to + 10C .The shell fabric is light and unlikely to survive encounters with brambles and briars . Weight is between 350 - 400gms so it's light enough for backpacking.

Delivered on time and well packaged. The fit is spot on. I'm 6'2 and of medium build and the large is perfect, can also accomodate a fleece underneath. Despite being really light weight and can be folded up really small, It's bloody warm! easily one of the warmest jackets I've owned. One word of warning if you order the red (Was the cheapest of the colours), It is pretty loud, like vivid red. This isn't a minus point though. Should get me spotted easily if I fall off Snowdonia next week.

Got this a couple of weeks after buying the vest. Most of its attributes are identical ie light, warm and great fit. The vest was the first North Face garment I have purchased and I was attracted by the Thermoball insulation. This insulation does seem to offer a very good warmth for weight ratio. I particularly like the fit and quality of the materials used. So far I cannot vouch for how effective the insulation is when wet. but it cannot be ant worse than down.

I have numerous puffer style jackets but they are so bulky they are not comfortable if you are in and out of the car/shop all day etc but this is just what i have been looking for.A smart appearance,warm enough for winter days and also shower proof.If you can get it for less than RRP then buy it.I don't care about branding as most are made in the same far east factories but this seems to be well made.

Bought for a gift for my husband. I thought it was very good value for money.He is a medium but sometimes wears a large in coats to allow for a hoodie underneath. I bought a medium in this and it's an excellent fit with room for a extra layerHe is really happy with the colour. The red is a lovely shade. He's worn it lots already and has found it perfect to keep out the cold wind on blustery days.

This is a really nice looking jacket and the colour is great. It's very lightweight and comfortable to wear. It looks to light to offer any degree of real warmth but it really does. Perfect for this time if the year. Only downside is It's not great in the rain. If you get caught in a heavy shower then you will get wet. It does dry quickly though. Price on Amazon was ridiculously low as well.

I'm 5ft 9.5 inches tall, with a slight build and have a bit of a tummy. I ordered the jacket in the small size and I am happy to report that it fits perfectly. I would describe the fit as slightly tight which is fine and I think medium would have been to big.The arms are the perfect length too, very pleased with my purchase. Its a really nice jacket one of the best I've ever had.

Purchased as a jacket for driving as a heavy jacket makes me feel bulky and constricted. Also for using in the fairer weather for walks. I was not disappointed. Lightweight, comfortable and also fitted, which was flattering. Good enough for winter weather with a jumper underneath, without feeling suffocating. Well worth the purchase and we he great northface standard

I loved so much about this jacket - the colour (green), the length, and the fact that it was light In weight ideal for Spring and Autumn. I ordered the size Medium and Large, but the Medium was too small and the Large was way too big! Even when I tried a jumper under the size Large it was still too big. I had to send both jackets back for a refund.

Had this jacket for a few days now and love it. Medium Fits me perfectly and I'm a 40" chest 5ft9. Keeps the warmth in and is nice and light. Delivery was also speedy and on time. Highly recommend as it was much cheaper than in the north face store.

I bought this Jacket when it was on offer for £69.99. The delivery was quick and the item fitted first time. It is a very lightweight jacket and for that price it was an amazing buy. Even at the full price I would recommend all to buy this!

Very nice quality jacket, looks short on the model photograph but is longer on my body fit - I am 5' 6" - 5'7" but broad shoulders so ordered large as chest size was comparable to size chart. Quality gear though, good purchase.

So far I’ve had it for a day but right now I love it and the colour. However I’ve given it a four stars because I initially I had thought it was too big even for a small but I’m now warming up to it. Good value for money also

Excellent jacket. Very good quality and a comfortable fit. I’m a chest size 40 and have long arms this fit me perfectly not too tight and not too loose. Material is great and so is the colour. The price was fantastic too.
