I've had one of these for about 6 weeks now, and it's excellent. I bought it for running and it is light, feels well-built, is loud enough to compete with traffic noise and the clip is strong. It plays MP2 (that's MP-two) files, as recorded by my DAB radio, without the need for any conversion. Despite what other reviews say, the "soft pause" works fine and remembers where you stopped listening.A couple of minor niggles: 1) It won't play m4a files, but there's freeware on the web that can see to the conversion to mp3, 2) I cannot fathom the order the files are played. It is definitely *not* to do with the order that files are loaded onto the player. This is a problem when playing an audio book that is in lots of small files,

when i ordered this player i was looking for something cheap to use in the gym as my main player is a bit too bulky, i was expecting something plastic and awful.I find myself very pleasently suprised, the body of the player is all aluminium and it feels very sturdy indeed, the buttons have a good feel to them and seem quite solid, the clip itself is very strong and i can't see much chance of it falling off at any point. The sound quality is also suprising for the price, it's much better then i expecting it to be and the volume is very good, it's almost hard to believe that something that small could be that loud. thus far the battery life seems to be a good 4 hours or so too.

This product is great! Me and my daughter have one each that we use all the time. It's perfect in all occasions especially running. It clips on and stays on your clothes without it being in the way. The quality is good and very easy to use. The only issue is that it doesn't tell you when it is charged or needs charging which is why we didn't give it 5 stars. Also it is shuffle only with no screen so you can't see what songs are playing but for us that wasn't a major problem. I have to say though that the red one (which I have) is better than the black one (which my 19 year old daughter has) as I can see the buttons easier as they contrast the red background....however when you are young and your eyesight is good,

This is a fantastic cheap MP3 Player. Of course it's not an iPod in terms of Quality but also don't forget about the price. However personally I think it is better than an iPod. You don't have to put up with iTunes, just a simple Sync with Windows Media Player of even a copy and paste. The USB slot used to charge this MP3 is a common one and therefore I have many chargers for it.Other people have complained of having to charge it to start it, well all you have to do is; Flick the switch to `ON' and then hold down the `Play' button for five seconds and press `Play' again. Battery life isn't amazing , you get around 5 hours depending on use.Overall a cheap MP3 player that is fit for purpose.

I bought this based on the reviews I read and have to say I find it just fine. I bought it mainly for downloading audio books, and I find it stays exactly where I last left it when I press the button for turning it off. This is my first MP3 player so I wish it came with some kind of instructions for charging, but it's not rocket science and I soon found out what to do. All it all it does exactly what I wanted it to, and it's very cheap. I'm guessing serious MP3 player people would go for a much more expensive one, but for what I want it's perfect.

Sweex MP300 2GB Clipz MP3 Player - Blackperfect small mp3 player bought for my son and was so easy to use unlike some others just plugged it in to comp with usb lead provided and whilst me and my son put his mp3's on it charged it self up.it has very clear sound and is easy to use no silly buttons to flick back and forward and also has an off/on switch not one of the time out versions that waste battery life it charges through usb cable so can be charged through any usb connection for easyness well worth the money.

Well to my surprise this little 2gb can handle a lot of music the sound quality is very good although not sure what it's like through headphones supplied.I've used other mp3 players and I have to say this is the loudest !Mp3 transfer is easy plug and play !Charging takes place via USB cable (supplied)Size very small and compact idea for the gymMy only but bear is when you turn it off it won't remember the last track you play instead goes straight back to the start .All in all incredible value for money !

GREAT SUPER VALUE, BRILLIANT SOUND QUALITY AND LOOKS AND FEELS SO EXPENSIVE, I DO FEEL ITS BETTER THAN THE MORE EXPENSIVE BRANDS ON THE MARKET THAT YOU ARE ONLY PAYING FOR THE NAME. THE EARPHONES THAT COME WILL THIS ITEM ARE ALSO VERY GOOD AND SO CLEAR. I CANT FIND ANY FAULT WITH THIS ITEM AT ALL.IT TAKES 2.5 HOURS TO CHARGE AND LASTS FOR 5 HOURS EVEN MORE DEPENDING ON HOW YOU USE IT.IT MAKES SENSE TO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT HAS IS A LITTLE CRACKER.DONT THINK ABOUT BUYING IT- DO IT!

I've just bought this little mp3, so haven't really tested it yet. The packaging was horrendous for such a little thing, totally unnecessary. I've played it back on speakers,and the sound quality is good, though some things come out a lot quieter than others. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the cd or the mp3. Once charged up, (overnight is best)it goes for a long time, about 5 hours. I'm off on holiday soon, so it will be severely tested!!!, but i think it will be ok.

Even after reading the positive feedback I was amazed on receiving the item just how solid and non-tacky this little all-aluminium gem is. Only negative: the instructions are a tad brief. It seems that soft-off is what most people would call pause, but as there is no further information, you just have to guess. And it does not play whilst the USB is connected - not a problem, but you find this by trial and error. Overall excellent, because I love it!

I sometimes don't want to cart my super futuristic, does everything music/video player around the whole time. It's too big, too expensive and too complex.This little fellow is perfect for when you need to travel light, like when you go running. There's not complication and if you can live with playing music in whatever order it appears on your playlist, this is good. Also if it breaks/gets lost, it's too cheap to really care.

For the price, the device is very good. Build quality doesn't appear very good but what do you expect for this price. Length of the lead for the earphone socket is not very long, however it's fine if you clip the device to your t-shirt whilst at the gym (that's what I use it for).I initially assumed 2Gg may be too little for me, but I have approx 50 songs on at the moment and I haven't even used a tenth of the capacity !

I was so impressed by this little mp3 player that looks just like an ipod shuffle. I don't know why anyone would say it's not good as the sound quality is great, you can put tooooons of mp3 songs on it, it looks cute and it's so easy to use. i received it just a few days after ordering and it arrived earlier than expected in perfect condition. Comes with everything including good earphones. Definately recommended.

This is the first MP3 player I have had. It is brilliant. I bought a USB 3 pin adaptor for 10 euro so I can recharge it from the mains. I took it to the beach today and it was still going after 4 hrs, no distortion and the stereo sound isexcellent.I thoroughly recommend it. For the price you really can not complain, especially if all you use it for is gym work/running where you dont want complicated mp3 players to distract you. Also, its lite enough with a handy clip, so it does not get in the way. Also,if it gets damaged, you havent lost hundreds of pounds! its a bit of a no brainer, although I would strongly suggest choosing a decent set of headphones.
