I loved my 5th gen nanos so much and decided to treat myself to the latest. When listening to an audio book, if I lose my place the swipe is not as easy to use as the wheel was on the 5. However, I like the slightly chunky feel of it and the clever way it goes straight to what you were doing before you switched it off. I bought an armband sleeve for it because I tend to drop ipods and I want to look after this one. The touch screen isn't too responsive through a plastic cover but I'm not complaining. The battery life is awesome. And I like that you can charge it without removing the earphones, unlike the 5. So you can plug it into the power without breaking your listening.

The iPod Nano 7th generation is arguably one of the best Nano models ever released. The touch screen is finally large enough to be useful and the side buttons are all you really need to get going (Pause and volume control).Because the screen is so large, the battery life is notably shorter than old generations, especially if you plan on watching videos for any length of time. Of course you can turn the brightness down, but who wants to watch a movie with low brightness.I can't help but feel it is becoming too much like the iTouch, but in this world. it makes sense to incorportate a touch screen. I would like to see this version last a good few year before Apple tamper with it, AGAIN.

Does exactly what it should - plays music and is very easily portable. The fitness feature is great for step counting when out walking. I use it a lot as it stores music for teaching dance and drama classes as well as just for personal use, so it has to be sturdy enough for going to dance studios and being played via various systems. This is my 4th iPod Nano over a period of 16 years - would only be my 3rd but I lost one recently and this is a like for like replacement. Doing the sums, an iPod lasts me for about 5 years of hammering! Controls may be a bit fiddly if you don't have wee fingers, but that's not an issue for me. As good as new, although it was a refurbished unit. .Recommended.

I like iPods for music on the move. They are small and neat and they save the phone battery. My 4th gen. iPod was great for many years but the battery was finally giving up so I looked for a replacement This 7th gen. iPod is pre-owned but in good condition. There were no earphones in the box but I have some nice Sennheisers so that was ok. It has twice the memory of my old iPod, and bluetooth, and an FM radio, all of which are good. Can't understand why Apple stopped making these great little devices, unless it was to sell more phones. It was not cheap but was good value. It was shipped quickly and overall I'm happy.

This is my 4th ipod nano. Im addicted to it for use with headphones on journeys, holidays and every day so can listen to music wherever I am and it helps me get to sleep at night with noise-cancelling headphones too! I also use a bluetooth speaker to play music at the tai chi classes I teach and all the students ask me about my ipod nano, amazed by it! DOWNSIDE - so small, so light, so easy lose! I bought this to replace one I thought I'd lost, then a day later found the one Id lost and now Ive already lost this new one so I'm back to only one! Get 2, so you have a replacement handy before they go off the market.

As with all previous ipod's Apple make it near impossible to use them without iTunes. I tried several supposed alternatives but they either said you still had to install iTunes or just did not work with the 7th gen nano. I hate the fact that they can dictate what program you can you, so will carry on looking for an alternative. I only bought this for use with music, so cannot rate any other feature. I use Winamp for my ipod classic, so I'm hoping when they are back up and running it may also work with the Nano.

Very pleased with the Apple iPod nano 7th Generation Silver (16 GB) (Latest Model). Does all it says on the packing. Transferring existing tunes from old machine did require a non Apple piece of software, that allowed file transfer without synchronisation - very helpful. Would definitely recommend this iPod version, perfect size and weight for a small pocket. Screen use becomes 2nd nature... ... but would prefer additional medium waveband for talk stations. Nevertheless with all my music stored on this credit card sized iPod as well I am glad I upgraded from the Nano 4th Generation; have no need for the Fitness Application, Videos or PodCasts.On the minus side - the battery has let me down a couple of times as the battery indicator is not good - would prefer to a % reading. Overall rating 8/10.

This iPod seems brand new. It comes in a carboard box together with the appropriate lightning USB cable, but no manual (easy to find on the Apple website). It works fine, although the 3 buttons on the side take some getting used to (not easy to know where one stops and the other starts - designers please take note). All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Seller deserves his/her solid rating.

I bought this to replace my classic iPod which I'd had for over 10 years. I am so pleased with it. It's easy to use, the battery life is great and it's easy to carry around as it's so light. It's easy to transfer music from iTunes and make playlists. Thrilled with the nano - feels like a great replacement for my iPod classic at a fraction of the cost.

I had an Ipod Nano 6th Generation before, but this one is far superior, bigger touch screen and the bluetooth is fantastic, as I am a truck driver, so playing my favourite songs in my truck a lot easier with bluetooth than having to using an aux audio cable as I had to use on my 6th gen nano.I would recommend this ipod to anyone!!

The ipod nano 7th generation is a nice compact unit, the only problem comes when you are updating from an earlier generation ipod nano, you require a 'lightening adaptor' to use your earlier equpment like docking station. The one I purchased came with an adaptor, but no instructions, however they are downloadable so no real problem.

Great sound very easy to use connected it to my i.tunes library on my laptop it was recognized immediately and the whole of my library was transferred to the iPod. Paired easily with my Bluetooth speakers.This item replaced my old 1st generation iPod that lasted quite a few years. so if this lasts as long I will be very pleased.

An Apple iPod - why they don’t make them any more is a mystery. Sometimes it’s good to have your music on a device other than your phone (especially if you don’t use iPhone) or iPad. This is great - it’s small enough to keep in your pocket, but holds enough music to keep most listeners happy for a day or two. All round great.
