I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have to say it's one of the best stylus-type devices I've ever used. Its sleek design is extremely easy to get to grips with and it feels as though you're actually writing/drawing with a real pencil. One brilliant feature is the ability to tap on the pencil to change its functionality; i.e. changing from ink to eraser - all with just one tap.The Pencil charges quickly easily thanks to the ability to connect it to the side of your iPad Pro using built-in magnets on both devices - don't worry, there's no chance of it falling off as the connection is extremely strong.Altogether, this is an amazing piece of kit and definitely worth the investment for professional designers of those looking to explore digital designs or the first time.Extremely pleased with the deliver and service from Very, having received this item way ahead of time.

Before I got an iPad Pro 11 I had a surface and to say the surface pen is not even in the same league is an understatement. The pencil feels natural to hold, write and draw with - whether you’re taking notes in meetings or doodling away. It can be a pen, pencil or paintbrush as well as an eraser with a double tap. Plus when attached to the iPad, it secures firmly and shows you the battery life on a screen pop up. The only problem is you’d forget you were holding an expensive piece of equipment. Basically, if you have an iPad buy it now!

Product is for iPad pro only and not next gen ipad. Bought and then opened the packing wrapping only - wanted to return so went back to store where purchased- they refused because they can't rewrap apple products in factory shrink wrap. Terrible customer service. The pencil itself is great if paired with an iPad pro and has welcome additions over the first. Wish apple would state this is clearly ipad pro pencil it or pro pencil - as can be co fusing with all tje geneations still on sale.

For a long time I held off on buying an Apple Pencil - how silly of me! It's comfortable to hol, easy to 'write' with and feels natural. The Pencil is charged wirelessly, another great design idea that saves on the clutter, cost and environmental impact of cables. The only issue I have with the Pencil is that, as my youngest daughter has discovered, is it fits easily up a child's nostril. I can only guess that Apple foresaw issues such as this and engineered the Pencil with smooth edges. Phew!

I bought this to go with the iPad Pro. Easy set up, but a little fiddly to get it to work, but a quick look at You tube videos and I was soon up and running. After that it’s a matter of trial and error till you get what you want. It is very comfortable to hold and use. If there is a downside the only way to charge the pencil is for it to sit on a small magnetic strip on top of the iPad, So a word of warning if you are buying a case you need one that allows for this direct contact to happen.

The second generation pencil is perfect! Very easy to work with and really helps you get the most out of your iPad Pro (2018) I use mine for digital art mostly, it allows me to draw with more detail than if I were drawing without a pencil, you can easily change brushes by double tapping, it connects quickly and charges super fast! A must have for anyone with the iPad Pro (2018) especially if you’re an artist or a writer... and whether you’re a beginner or not it’s easy to use! Highly recommend!

I had been using a generic drawing stylus with my ipad which was fine, but I wanted the ability to tap to switch brushes and to eraser. Since buying the apple pencil I've been drawing a lot more because it's more enjoyable. You can get way more precision. The pressure sensitivity is great for doing typography and script. It makes drawing and writing on my ipad feel much more natural. Honestly wish I had the ipad and pencil whilst in uni for taking notes. Definitely recommend.

I need this pencil for my Ipad Pro 2018. Waited and was thinking so long to buy it, then purchased this one.Very easy to use in Ipad Pro 2018. You can mark in the presentations (and erase), take notes, draw you own sketch, make CAD models, explain during online presentations. It helps me a lot to handle Lectures and to explain my concepts in the class room sessions. Very handy and highly recommended. ...You can also think of getting 'tips' for your Apple pencil and we can replace it ...

Got the pencil to use along with my IPad Pro 11 2018.It is very good but does not slide over the glass perfectly (you can feel little “bumps” with it). Also it can not be used to swipe up from the bottom to close a page, nor can it swipe down from the top to see the dock.Watching YouTube videos it can also not adjust the volume, only Mute it.For the price, you would expect it to do these features.Apart from that I use it with Lightroom for photo editing and it’s not bad for that.

The new Apple Pencil is a big step forward in design and use. While giving essentially the same functionality as the original pencil, (the new one does add a double tap feature to swap between pencil and eraser which is useful if not groundbreaking) it’s the wireless charging and magnets to stick it to the iPad that make all the difference. The new pencil can now always be attached to the iPad and therefore be just where you need it and it’s always charged up and ready to go.

Drawing: great on the apps, very responsive to touch & how hard you press, shading, line thickness and watercolours come out great with it.Very useful, not only for designing but in many other day to day tasks. It has nice and sleek design and weighs just enough to feel you are holding something but is not too much to work with for a long time. Love the magnetic feature, not worried I will loose it. I would like to see a “search” feature as watches have to phones just in case ;)

The Apple Pencil 2 allows for precision in graphic design. The response time is as quick as real time, there's no lag. It is like using a real pencil, so when you tilt a regular pencil to the side and get that different shading effect than shading on the point, the Apple Pencil 2 does the same. A variety of apps offer more mediums, such as pens, paintbrushes, charcoal etc. The Apple pencil 2 is responsive to pressure too allowing for light to heavier tones and shading. I love it.

I decided to purchase the Apple Pencil as I am a student and wanted to write handwritten notes and become a paperless student. It does everything I need it to and is comfortable to hold. It also comes in handy using other apps as more of a stylus. I think if you’re a student or love creating digital art this is a must have. I would say you could definitely live without this products if the above does not apply to you though as I’m sure there would be a cheaper alternative.

Apple pencil works as it should, I would say that this is more of a tool which would be useful to digital designers or anyone interested in note taking/journalism. Even though I think this is an amazing product it is not essential to the everyday person. If you have the money for this product then I think it will only improve your experience with the Ipad. The feedback between the Ipad and the pencil is like nothing I have experienced with a stylus, almost instantaneously.

I don’t even have words to describe how amazing the Apple Pencil is. I use Procreate and GoodNotes. Havjnvbstriggled with a third party stylus on my old iPad Air, having the pencil is just a tearful blubber inducing experience. The palm rejection is brilliant, pressure sensitivity with the iPad Pro means I can letter to my heart’s content without worrying about switching to the dock or having every line the same thickness. Seriously, genuinely, honestly, brilliant product.
