I've introduced this potty to my 15 month old, and chose this potty over others as another review had said it was great for younger toddlers and their smaller bums! My little one sits on it for about 20 seconds or so and then starts standing and wriggling and touching her bottom where the overlap of the seat and removable bowl sit. I think perhaps it digs in or traps her skin between the join, but not sure. It may just be something for her to get used to as she's not used to sitting on plastic, but that may be something to consider if you're weighing up the option of removable bowl or not. I would also not recommend this seat to older toddlers/children or those with wider thighs/hips as i don't think it would be too comfortable.

Perfect for little bottoms. So comfortable. I potty trained my little one at 13 months old. Just as my mother did with me and her mother did with her. So this potty was perfect as children of this age are still tiny and I found that my little ones bottom got very red and sore on a normal potty due to how small she is he little bottom used to get stuck in middle of a generic potty. This potty was AMAZING she could sit on it for 10 minutes or so without any problems and she was potty trained within 2 weeks. We only use reusable nappies now for night time and the rest of the time she is dry. She sits on the potty after every sleep and meal and every 30 -60 minutes during the day and she has now been dry for months.

How can a potty be stylish and practical! This actually lives in my kitchen - and I don't mind!!! Its obviously a potty, but it goes with my décor beautifully and my grandson calls it 'his chair' He's proud to use it - although not quite successfully just yet! Love that I can discreetly remove the 'soiled section' without the drama of carrying the whole potty upstairs - it even fits in the dishwasher after so I know its sterilised. You'd be surprised how many guests have commented "Oh, I love that!"

Brilliant! Well worth the money I've had 4 different potties this is by far the best!My son is 5 and has autism so its just starting his toileting journey this is amazing as its more like a seat not a potty that's really low to the floor so perfect for his height, he is only slim but has plenty of room.Super easy to empty as grey compartment just lifts out and slots back in ( so easy for the boyfriend to understand ??)Very lightweight, sturdy

My daughter was refusing to use her cheaper potty and it was uncomfortable. She sits on this much easier as it is like a chair. And she has done so much better at potty training since using this. The only annoying thing is you cant secure the little potty in place, a few times when she has stood up the potty part has come with her so ends up messy

Potty removes easily to be cleaned. The legs bend slightly depending on how the little one tries to sit on it (only sat twice). I definitely wouldn’t have taken off a shop shelf with the sticker having a bubble in it. Very disappointing really as it is the only thing on the potty and I would have not chosen it if it had looked like that in a shop.

Well priced item. Very sturdy so no chance of the little one falling off, made better with the back and arm rests. She seems happy to sit on it whether she's going or not so must be pretty comfortable. Not great to clean but no potty is... definitely easier than most because of the removable bucket so as happy as I can be about a potty!

Great size and not an eyesore in the living room! My 3 year old took to this potty, he wasn’t comfortable on a toddler toilet seat or a smaller potty but this one seems to tick all the boxes. Handy insert which can be removed, emptied and cleaned out. If it had a little handle at the back it would’ve got 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Only used it for one day so far but really glad I ordered this potty. 2 1/2 year old son was finding the basic potty uncomfortable and was reluctant to sit for very long. He’ll sit for ages on this! Really stable and sturdy, easily cleaned. Fingers crossed we crack the potty training soon.

Not much to say really... its a potty. My daughter seems to like it. Definitely sturdier than the type plus the ability to remove the bowl is useful. The only problem is sometimes my daughter removed the bowl herself. It'd be useful if there was some way of fixing/locking it into place.

This is a brilliant potty and I cannot recommend it enough! It's easily emptied and cleaned with the removable centre! No more mess or spillage from bulky potties!!!!! It's a nice height too, comfortable (judging by the amount of time my daughter spends on it) well made and sturdy!

Good sturdy chair but my daughter thinks its a game to take the commode bit out! It would have been handy to have some way of securing it whilst in use. Also, mine didn't have the star detail on the back as shown in the picture which was part of the reason i ordered this one.

A great size for my two year old twins as when using the smaller potties their knees seem to be up to their ears. Raised part at front great for catching any spills from boys and girls. Removable section so easily cleaned and they love taking it to flush down the toilet.

We had hit a road block with potty training, our little one said the standard shape one we had hurt his bum. After visiting a friend who was also training he took to the one they had. We are now 4 days after arrival 3 days dry! No looking back now!!

Bought because it’s the same as the one at my girls nursery & not disappointed. It’s so comfy she likes to use it as a TV chair as well as a potty! Her cousin (boy) also has one like this & is just the same with his.
