I well remember how wobbly toilet seats were for young children and this was an additional concern for them when trying to come to terms with learning a new skill. Unlike most trainer seats, Pourty's Flexi-Fit Toilet Trainer can be adjusted for size with its squeeze flex action and adjustable prongs, giving secure fit onto almost all adult toilet seats. The instructions are nice and clear too, with diagrams. Once adjusted, it's easy to take on and off, meaning that children can put it on for themselves and then climb onto the toilet without risk of wobbling - the confidence this engenders is a good way to encourage independence. The smooth plastic and contoured make it comfortable for the child to sit on with confidence; it's not too high either,

My 2 year old daughter has been a fan of the pourty potty since she decided to become a big girl and no longer wear nappies. She loved sitting on this more than any other product out there, so when she decided it was time to use the toilet like her brother we needed to find a suitable seat.Initally I used our previous seat(which was my sons and meant no more expense) but she refused to get on to it, and when I eventually encouraged her on she found the handles on the sides annoying. So I invested in this.Amazing!! Overnight she would get onto the toilet on her own and happily go about her business.

My two year old is really tiny, and she feels very happy on this seat which fits really well on our toilet. It is easy to move the parts to make the seat fit, and there is no wobble at all. It is also really quick and easy to take it on and off the toilet seat so adults can use the loo, and light enough for my daughter to put it on herself. The seat supports her really well and she doesn't need to be held by anyone else whilst sitting on the pourty.We have the Tommee Tippitoes mini toilet, where you can put the seat onto a normal toilet, but my daughter doesn't like it as it moves around all over the place is not secure at all.Someone mentioned in another review that they were unhappy as it did not fit their rectangular toilet,

This is the best toilet trainer seat I’ve purchased for both my son and daughter. We have in the past purchased ones which have fitted under the toilet seat and others which fix onto the toilet seat and none are as good as this one. The issue I’ve had with others is that they don’t fit snuggly onto the toilet and so move around when in use. It made my son feel uneasy using the toilet as he wouldn’t feel secure when on the seat. This seat is adjustable so fits snuggly onto the toilet seat and my children were able to fit it onto the seat by themselves when it was needed. It’s not too high at the front so they can sit on the toilet themselves encouraging independence but still had a little lip so that wee doesn’t escape the toilet.

I've bought this toilet training seat for my 2 year old daughter. She's been using the Pourty potty for a while which she's loved (and we love because it's so easy to pour out the contents) but she was keen to start using the big toilet. I found the instructions on how to use the seat clear and the prongs were easy to put on and adjust to fit.I was really pleased with how secure it feels when attached to the toilet seat and my daughter was very happy to sit on it because it doesn't wobble about and she finds it comfortable. Having used another toilet seat for my son 3 years ago, I definitely prefer this one because it makes your child feel so much more secure.It's really simple to take on and off by squeezing the back together.

Yey! Anyone who has a square toilet will appreciate the struggle to find a training seat that actually fits. After being through a couple I found this one and it really does fits our square toilet! The two movable points on the underside are what you use to give it a secure fit on your seat. I found them a bit awkward to move, but the quality and secure fit more than make up for it. Yes there are no handles at either side but my little one has taken to it really well. I bought a stepper ( the white and grey one on amazon) with two steps which goes really well with it, and because our toilet it quite high up. It’s easy enough to clean made of really sturdy thick plastic with a good quality rubber rim.

Really good product. However, the clasp that you can adjust to fit the toilet seat to any toilet aparently doen't fit to the edge of the adult toilet, so the toilet seat can still move about. There are small gap on all sides so plenty of room for the seat to move about and become a hazard for my toddler. I've had to on many occassions bring the seat forward whilst he was sat on it. The grip is strong and my son has become very confident in sitting down on the toilet by himself. This seat site better on a oval/U shape toilet than my own which is rectangle/square shape. I personally don't think the range of toilets seats are made to fit on rectangle/square shape toilet seats.

I wanted one of those foldable toilet seats with a step because I thought it would give DS more independence to go by himself. But none of the others worked because his toilet has an awkward square shaped seat and it is taller than standard (47cm). I can't really say anything about its durability because we just got it today but my first impression is that it is very sturdy. In addition to the adjustable clips the rubber underneath also helps prevent it from slipping and sliding around. I am confident DS will feel very secure sitting on it and I won't have to worry he will fall into the toilet. We paired it with the Dreambaby 2-step stool so DS can go without assistance.

I have purchased 2 of these Pourty Toilet trainer Seats (1 for my house and 1 for my parents house)My son is very skinny so could not sit on a normal toilet seat without being held otherwise he would fall through. I have quite a square type toilet seat so i was not sure if the basic type of seats would fit my toilet so I opted for the Pourty Flexi Fit seat.It fits perfectly on our seat and on my parents toilet too, just need to adjust the clips underneath before use and its ready to use. My son has been using it for a few months now and can easily put the seat on and off of the toilet himself.Its super easy to clean and fits very well onto the toilet so that it doesn't wobble.

This is our third pourty’s flexi-fit trainer seat. Not because its broken or anything due to lack of quality, but rather the opposite. We have now a pourty at my in-laws house at my parents house and at our house so we don’t have to carry it around when we go for longer period of time. Can’t appreciate enough as we can’t find a similar quality and practical product. It has the best design for an ease of use for both the child and the parent/guardian taking care of the cleaning after the job is done. It has enough space to put your hand through to clean up while the child is seated. And also it is the easiest to clean the seat due to its plastic build just a bit of water and its all nice and

After trying 4 different training seats, some that fitted poorly and some that didn't fit at all, I bit the bullet and ordered this. I'm glad i did. We have got space saver toilets both upstairs and down stairs and struggled to find anything that fits either of them, this flexi-fit fits both toilets and is comfortable for little one to sit on. The shape means little one has to fully sit on it stopping all accidents cased by being sat too far forward. The raised front will also be good for my son when he starts using the toilet. It's easy to clean and very easy to remove and adjust. At the moment we cart the seat up and downstairs when needed but I will be ordering a second as its perfect.

First of all it does fit perfectly and safely on a conventional toilet seat (I dont know about oval or square style) perfectly without ANY additional fixings. it got negative review previously for the extra security plastic adjustable bit breaking off, but I simply did not even put it on. It is secure without it. my son is 2,6 yrs old and he can sit himself on it if he decides although he prefers help. My son is not a tall child with a big frame and the seat is still perfect not big or too small. And it is easy to clean easy to remove, easy to take along.As I said I do not believe it needs those plastic security bits to fix.Try without it first. and you'll see if needed.

Keen to coax my 3yr old onto the loo rather than the potty, we bought a cheap supermarket trainer seat. Big mistake! It slipped off the loo on his 1st attempt and totally discouraged him.However after seeing the Pourty flexi-fit I thought I'd give it a go, as it looked far superior to anything I'd tried before. This has proved to be one of the best child related purchases we've made! It doesn't slip or wobble, fits securely to all the different toilet seats we've used it on (I even tried it on the neighbours loos just to check!) and it's just brilliant! Like the modest styling and LOVE the non slip rim! Thank you Pourty for yet another genius addition to the range!

Very happy with the product and the service. Seat came very quick and it was awesome.We got it for our 5 year old girl that has autism. Until now we tried lots of different seats and poties. Nothing worked she felt uncomfortable and unstable. For a child with such special disability safety is very important. I'm not joking we were terrified about all the toilet training business. The morning we got a seat I put it on, very easy to adjust, she sat on it and there was smile. We didn't have that smile for weeks because she was feeling very embarrassed, that she can't go to the toilet. She is still smiling, she feels very comfortable, very safe and happy.Thank you x

After many disappointments I finally decided to purchased the flexi fit pourty and boy was it worth every penny! Nothing seemed to fit on my akward square toilet seat (square at the front and for some silly reason rounded at the back!).. after finding many useful reviews on the pourty fitting square toilets, I decided to take the plunge and it was definitely money well spent! The adjustable prongs make it that bit more secure, and even so its not a perfectly snug fit, there is no movement and that's all that matters! Hopefully little one will love it as much as I do!Hope the photos help anyone struggling to find a seat that fits a square toilet!!
