Good quality materials used,a very sturdy potty, a bit big to be portable i.e. It can't be just popped under the buggy for days out as won't fit. Multi purpose is great it's a potty, a toilet seat and a step stool in one,great if you don't want to buy lots of separate bits. I did find the hole in the seat to be quite small and you do need to make sure if it's a boy that they are sat well back on the potty otherwise they end up weeing all over the edge and down the outside of potty. Easy to empty

Though initially excited, my little boy isn't quite ready for this, so not an exhaustive review as it's yet to be Christened. It seems comfy (I may have sat on it myself, to demonstrate it doesn't bite, so confirm it's sturdy!). I like that it's a potty, loo seat, and step stool, which makes it reasonable value as should have some longevity.He has sat on the lid twice and managed to trap his fingers under his own body weight. Hope this won't put him off! You turn your back for one minute...

This potty is brilliant! It really helped my son with his potty training. He loved sitting on it from the moment we brought it home and has had very few accidents since. This potty hit the mark as it is elevated which makes a big difference for boys, and a fun/vibrant design. Although it's bigger than a standard potty, it has a removable seat to fit on a toilet, turns into a foot stool, and plays a little tune which adds to the fun. I would highly recommend this product to any Thomas train fan!

We bought this as we had already introduced potty training but our toddler was becoming disinterested with the potty & we need something to encourage him. He loved it straight away! We are potty trained within a week & it's light & easy to take with you when visiting friends/family. Our first one stopped playing music after a few days but Argos swapped straight away. It is easy to clean with the removal compartment, the red seat fits on the main toilet and the whole unit can be used as a step

The Thomas potty is brilliant! My little boy absolutely loves it. He wouldn't go on any other potty we brought and as soon as he see this he loved it and it's helped so much with potty training, he loves how it plays a tune and makes noises and he feels rewarded. In a couple of weeks of having it he wanted to get on the actual toilet as you can use the potty as a step and take off part of the seat to put on top of the toilet seat so he won't fall in and he feels safe on it! It's just amazing!

I was a bit reluctant to get this potty as its not one of the cheapest and I feared id be throwing it out with the rest as my son showed no interest in potty training. To my surprise he absolutely loves it and he really enjoys the tunes it plays when he goes. Best feature for me is the shape of the seat....its like a chair and so much more comfy for him to sit on than other potties. Iv had this potty for just over a week and my son is dry through the day already! In my opinion a must buy!! :)

Basic design, sounds are good but a little quiet. Seat could do with being padded, it leaves a red bottom when my son is sat on it for a few minutes. Easy to empty and clean, but I advise to only do this when your child is not watching, my son soon figured out how to touch the contacts when the bowl is out to make it play the tune, so now he removes the bowl to do this (not so bad when it is empty....) I have found that it randomly plays the music, but that doesn't bother me.

Lovely design and made well. Nice and sturdy,perfect height for little one to sit on. Great that it converts for later use as toilet ring and step. Sounds and design encouraged my little one to want to use it which helped get started. The tune is a bit on the quite side however, have to really listen out for it. Slight issue with escaping number ones due to getting between seat and removable bowl (may be a boy issue only) but in general a good first potty.

I bought this for my son who had no interest in the standard potty. Since purchasing this Thomas potty I can honestly say it has worked wonders. He uses it everyday since the day we bought it, he even tries to squeeze the tiniest wee out just to hear the train noises/Thomas tune play. It may seem a bit pricy but in my opinion a great product which has been worth every penny and much more exciting to use for your little one than a bulk standard potty.

Brought this potty for my 2year old grandson, My daughter said He loved to sit on it straight away and had a wee on it the day I brought it and within a few days he was just using it all the time, it plays a tune when he wees ect. The little white potty is easy to carry and he removes the red seat and empties little white potty himself in the toilet easily, it is a nice height and seams comfy to sit on, He loves it we give it 10 out of 10

Our 2 year old son wasn't fussed sitting on his normal potty but he loves this one.Because of the music he will sit for longer to hear the noise once he's done his business and it's light enough that when he wants to use it as a step he can pick it up and move it himself.This is a brilliant potty for us and his grandparents are also purchasing one for their house.It's a little bit pricey but the happy toddler makes it worth the price.

It's a great potty, excellent quality. My little boy loves that he can take bowl out & help clean it. It's very sturdy. The only feature that could be better is the volume of the noises... It's meant to be a celebration & making a big thing of them using the potty. But I really have to listen for the sounds & just make a massive deal of it myself. Love that it doubles up as step & transfers onto the toilet too. Overall a great potty .

This potty is a very good concept however after a while of using it, I've found that the sound doesn't go off some of the time. This disappoints my child who wants to upturn the potty and press the button to make it sound. Which could turn out to be messy if not emptied immediately after it's used. Other than that the potty works fine and we're pleased with it which is the reason for the 4 star rating, otherwise it could be lower.

I bought the Thomas potty for my Grandson as he is just starting potty training and absolutely loves Thomas the tank engine. Thought this would be a fun way of training as it plays the music and toots like Thomas as a reward, when the potty has been used. Very strong and sturdy as a step or seat to. And with a lift off seat when my grandson is able to use the toilet to sit it, that's an added bonus, and well worth the money.

My two year old wasn’t keen on using a potty which we bought from another online store. We decided to show him the Argos app and let him choose his own potty. He decided on the Thomas potty and from the first day it arrived at our home he’s used it every day and out of nappies. The noises it makes when he’s used it encourages him to go and he is so happy showing everyone how well he’s doing by making the potty “sing”
