I bought this for my daughter during potty training as she was anxious about pooping on the potty or toilet (thanks to previous pooping trauma)... I thought this was a good in-between the two. It worked wonders! Her special 'poop' potty as we called it was used as soon as it arrived and my daughter was totally out of nappies within days! The potty is sturdy with a soft padded seat. The seat is quite small, my daughter was above average height for her age (2) and it was ok but wouldn't of got much use of we used it on the toilet seat. The top unit comes off completely (complete with loo roll holder) and slots on top of a regular toilet, so it not just the seat pad that goes into the toilet seat like most potties like this.

My little girl was very reluctant to use a regular potty as it was too hard so I looked everywhere for one with a soft seat that would keep her happy.She was instantly very happy with this one, glittery lid, butterflies on the seat, very own toilet roll holder and a very soft seat what more could she want in a potty? After months of reluctance and potty training refusal my daughter used this straight away and has been potty trained in a week.From a parents perspective, the price you pay is worth it. The potty is very big and sturdy, the fact that you can use it as a potty, toilet seat and step stool adds longevity to the product so you will no doubt use parts of it for a long time.

This potty was the best item I purchased for my 2.5 year old. It was literally the only potty she would even sit on! I bought other pottys which she would happily put Dolly on potty for a wee, but she would refuse to sit! I was getting concerned about the whole potty training issue, and decided to go back online to look for a 'different' potty than the standard ones with big bulge at front of seat (who designed these things!?!)As soon as I got this out of the box she happily sat down. We potty trained her within 3 days and could not believe it! Thank you to the makers of this potty!A month later and little madam is no longer using her potty but big toilet. This was the best money spent during her 'potty training episode'.

Cute and very functional. Does the job right. We have been using this for about a month and so far it has been holding up well particularly the cushion seat since I saw some reviews of the seat tearing or such. Our daughter particularly of course likes the seat since it is 'soft on the booty'. We don't really use the toilet paper roll holder though since our girl will just decorate the entire room with all the toilet paper. We also took off the lid since it kept falling on her. Overall, easy to use, easy to clean. The only down side is that at times the urine does miss getting the removable container and head down into the lower cavity. Not too much of an issue though-- we just wash it out.

The seat is padded which is a huge bonus as my son hated the plastic seats cutting into his bottom so he really took to this and the added benefit was you could remove it to use on the toilet. The bowl itself is removable so is easy to clean but underneath on the inside is very ridged which makes it difficult to clean that part (we found sometimes the urine would find itself in here but not sure how). Also it sold itself as being able to use it as a step but due to the domed nature of the lid I didn't feel comfortable with my toddler standing on it, especially when it started creaking. As a potty though we've recommended it to a few people!

Our 2 year old loves this potty!It is quite large but that makes it sturdy. As for comfort...we usually have to remind her to get off when she’s finished so I think she likes it!I can imagine if you got pee on the padded seat it might be more challenging to clean but she’s been using it for months now and we’ve never had any issues keeping it clean and smelling nice.She loves having her own little toilet roll and the fact that it’s useable on the toilet too is really handy.

Very well designed and comfortable .unfortunately , I didn't help us with potty training our 2 and 4 months old daughter , she is still not ready I guess . So can't blame the product . Will try again later sometime . Ok updating the review now . We started using the potty it is very comfy . But turns out now our daughter is ready for the toilet training so she doesn't really mind what potty to sit on . So I guess if you can , try to avoid paying a lot for a potty .

Good potty. The hole is abit on the small side and not very easy for boys to use. The gaurd is pretty pointless as child struggles to fit on with it on.There are gaps around the potty insert making it possible for a child to accidentally wee into the base. It seems that a child has to sit in the exact right spot for the potty to be effective otherwise the child misses the potty whilst urinating or smears poo on the cushion... but the cushion part is comfy.

Not sure where we’d be without this potty. Our child has to sit on the potty for 45 mins each day due to a neuropathic bowel, which we thought was going to be a complete nightmare to manage, but this padded seat is so comfortable he doesn’t mind at all now. The toilet roll holder has been a bit of a winner for him too! The fact that you can use it on the toilet too is great for easing the transition from potty to toilet.

This potty is fantastic. Tried other potty so and my son took an interest for all of an hour. Even tried character pottys with no joy. Got this and he loves it. So easy to clean and it's very comfy for him. Just the right height and a nice comfy seat. The only thing I would fault is it could use some rubber grippers or something on the bottom as it slides on wooden flooring when my son is trying to sit on it

Perfect height for my 2 1/2 year old boy to sit comfortably, but have discarded the guard which is pretty useless. Comfy seat but the hole itself is quite small and have to keep an eye on what direction things are going! I think this would be better for a girl. I thought the lid and paper roll would be a big hit, but only vaguely ineterested. That said, I am dealing with a slightly reluctant boy.

Brilliant! My two year old loves using this potty! Easy to assemble and quick and easy to clean. I first brought my son a comfort potty but he didn’t get on with it so we brought him the Summer Infant Step by Step Potty. The padding seat makes it comfortable for my little one to sit on. The potty also comes with a toilet roll holder so it’s even more realistic for your little ones!

Just brilliant. My son loves using this potty - we liked the idea that this potty grows with the child as they develop 'toilet' skills.Initially, our son is a little too young to use it right now but enjoys sitting down on it anyway - always good!The toilet roll holder/extension arm is a bit of a talking point amongst guests - so grown up, and fun too.

My daughter would not go near her old solid plastic potty, this made potty training go well as she went straight on it.Only just started potty training so not used other parts individually so can't comment yet but seem good.Back green compartment for wipes is not big enough for wipes but my daughter uses it to keep her toys in which helps keep her happy.

Very happy with the service ordered it Friday night and it arrived Sunday morning even with the free delivery option, my daughter absolutely loves this potty she is 14 months and is made up to sit on it, she finds it very amusing to open and close the lid! it is excellent quality, colours are lovely well worth the money :)
